Traffic Accident in Katipunan
Vehicular traffic accident at Brgy Uno,
Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 12:14 AM of May 2, 2018 involving two
(2) motorcycles described as follows:
-mc1- red/black Honda wave100, with plate number
8401 JI, driven by Jose Lawrence Magaso Tomboc, 29, and a resident of Poblacion,
Siocon
-and mc2- black Kawasaki barako175, with
sidecar, with temporary plate number 09860, driven by Amado Cabalida Jr, 32.
The passengers namely:
-Bernald Patoc Emotin, 30, and
-Larry Gatina Abarquez Jr, 19, all residents of Brgy
San Antonio, Manukan.
Investigation conducted disclosed that mc1 was
travelling from Roxas Municipality bound to Dipolog City (north direction) in
high speedy motion and upon arrival the place of accident, the driver lost
control of his driven motorcycle, encroached to the other lane, and
subsequently bumped mc2, which was also travelling from opposite direction.
As a result, both vehicles fell in the ground
inflicting serious injuries on the different parts of the bodies of both
drivers and passengers.
All victims were brought to Zanorte Medical
Center, Dipolog City but the attending physician pronounced the driver of mc1 dead
on arrival while both motorcycles were impounded at Katipunan MPS for proper
disposition.
PDEA High Value
Target (HVT) Arrested in Dipolog City
Combined operatives of Dipolog City Police Station
and Zamboanga Del Norte Philippine Drug Enforcement Team (ZNPDEA) conducted
drug buy-bust operation at Central Barangay, Dipolog City about 1:00AM of May 2, 2018.
The operation led to the arrest of Mary Apple
Maguinsay Y Santillana, 29 years old, Level 2 High Value Target (HVT) Drug
Personality of Dipolog CPS and High Value Target (HVT) PDEA List, and a
resident of Barangay Estaka, Dipolog City.
The Suspect was arrested at the abovementioned
place particularly besides Big Boss Resto Bar.
Confiscated from the possession and control of
the accused were:
-one (1) piece One Thousand Peso (Php 1,000.00)
bill bearing serial number GP90270 as buy-bust money,
-one (1) piece heat-sealed transparent plastic
sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu,
-one (1) piece paper (wrapper),
-one (1) piece ZHAK Mobile cellphone color
black.
Also declared in the presence of witnesses is
the one (1) piece heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white
crystalline substance believed to be shabu which was bought by the poseur buyer
to the suspect as buy-bust evidence.
Estimated total weight of confiscated illegal
drugs more or less five (5) grams with an estimated street value amounting to
One Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php 100,000.00).
Inventory marking was done at the place of
arrest while proper documentation, markings and body search was done at PDEA9
office located at Barra, Dipolog City and was witnessed by Hon. Malon D. Letran
- Barangay Kagawad of Barra and Mr. Rey Garcia-Media representative.
Subject was temporary detained to Dipolog CPS
pending filing of appropriate charges in court.
Arrest of
Wanted Person in Katipunan
PNP personnel of Katipunan MPS conducted manhunt
operation at Brgy Loyuran, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 4:00 PM of
May 2, 2018.
This led to the arrest of Mary Joy Pantorilla
Ogoc, 46 , and a resident of said place.
He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued
by Judge Alnaiza T. Hassiman-Jamud of 5th MCTC of Katipunan and Sergio Osmena
Sr., 9RTC, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte dated April 5, 2018 for the crime of Qualified
Trespass To Dwelling, docketed under CC no. 257-18(K) with bail bond amounting
to Php 36,000.00.
Arrested wanted person is now detained at
Katipunan MPS for proper disposition.
Rape Suspect
and Child Abuser Arrested
Combined elements of Siayan MPS and Naawan MPS,
Misamis Oriental PPO conducted manhunt operation at Brgy Tuboran, Naawan,
Misamis Oriental at about 2:00 PM of May 2, 2018.
This led to the arrest of Pedro Sumambod Maňacap,
52, and a resident of Sitio Tagaytay, Brgy Muňoz, Siayan.
He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued
by Judge Reymar L Lacaya of Br 11, 9RTC, Sindangan, for the following crimes:
-CC no. S-5229 for Statutory Rape in relation to
RA 7610 dated November 17, 2015;
-CC no. S-5187 for Rape in relation to RA 7610
dated October 20, 2015; CC no. S-5185 for Statutory Rape in relation to RA 7610
dated October 20, 2015; and
-CC no. S-5186 for Rape in relation to RA 7610
dated October 20, 2015.
Arrested wanted person is in custody of Siayan
MPS for proper disposition.
