was wounded after accidentally hit by his Firearm
SIAYAN,
ZaNorte (June 25, 2018) – A security
guard was accidentally wounded after he was hit by his owned firearm. The
accidental firing transpired on June 23, 2018 at about 2:10 PM at Sitio River
Side, Brgy Poblacion, Siayan, Zamboanga Del Norte.
Investigator on Case P02 Armando L.
Pelayo Jr. identified the security guard as Rodrigo Siasico y Magallanes, 38
years old, married, Filipino, Security Guard of Globe Tower under Dasia Security
Agency and a resident of Sitio Dagao, Barangay Poblacion, Siayan,.
Initial investigation disclose that the
security guard left their house going to Barangay Polayo to render duty at
Globe tower and he fetches his wife at UCCP church situated at Sitio Riverside
Poblacion Siayan. Zambaonga del Norte, he said.
PO2 Paabayo also said that while the SG
waiting thereat his sling bag fell down of which his 38 revolver was inside and
accidentally burst/fired and hit at his left knee. Victim immediately brought
to Dipolog City for Medication.

UCCP witnessed the said incident.
Suspect
arrested for Hacking Incident
DAPITAN
CITY (June 25, 2018) – A suspect was arrested for a female,
the hacking incident took place at Barangay Sigayan, Dapitan City at
about 12:30 AM of June 24, 2018.
Investigator on case- PO1 Gweyn Acorin identified
the victim as Jenalyn Sotillo Pitogo, 31 years old, female, widow, a resident
of said place was hacked by her boyfriend identified as Joel Regan Gutang, 46
years old, male, live-in, Filipino and a resident of Brgy. Barcelona, Dapitan
City.
Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that the victim was at the house of his aunt at Barangay Sigayan
attending a birthday party, when the suspect believed to be under the
influenced of liquor suddenly came with a bolo and got mad and without apparent
reason hacked the victim hitting on her left knee, he said.
The victim was brought to Jose Rizal
Memorial Hospital, Dapitan City for medical treatment while the suspect was
arrested at Brgy Barcelona, Dapitan City, PO1 Acorin also said.
The suspect is now temporary detained
at Dapitan CPS pending filing of appropriate charges in court. Motive is Jealousy.
Husband
accidentally Hacked by his wife
SIAYAN,
Zamboanga del Noted (June 25, 2018) – A
husband was died after accidentally hacked by his wife, the incident occurred
at Barangay Diongan, Siayan, Zamboanga Del Norte.
Investigator on Case P02 Armando L.
Pelayo Jr. identified the suspect as Lorita B. Halagna, legal age and a
resident of said place.
Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that at about 6:00 PM of June 23, 2018, both victim and the suspect
were having a drinking spree at the house of Jolito Amod, after drinking the
couple went home drunk and sleep, P02 Pelayo disclosed.
At around 7:00pm of same date, the
suspect woke-up for personal necessities. She got a bolo for her protection and
when about to open the door she was stumbled down due to the darkness and her
bolo accidentally hit to the left leg of her husband. The victim sustained
slice wound and experienced severe bleeding, PO2 Pabayo added.
He said, the suspect inform her sister
in-law and report the incident to the barangay and subsequently the victim was
brought to Siayan Diagnostic Center for medical treatment but was pronounced
dead on arrival by his attending physician.
Suspect was detained at Siayan MPS
pending filing of appropriate charges in court.
DIPOLOG
CITY (June 25, 2018) - A commotion
transpired at Lapu-lapu St Corner Echavez St, Barangay Estaka, Dipolog City at about 2:30 in the morning of June 24, 2018.
Alert Team of Dipolog CPS immediately
responded the said report. Upon arrival at said place, the team arrested Roxanne
Bantilan y Rulog, 18 years old, single, and a resident of same address causing
the commotion and disturbing the residents.
He suspect was arrested for “Alarms and
Scandal” and temporarily detained at Dipolog CPS for filing of appropriate
charges in court.

CITY (June 25, 2018) - The Personnel
of Dipolog City Police Station arrested a 33-year old rape suspect at Sitio
Looc, Barangay Estaka, Dipolog City at
about 11:00 AM of June 24, 2018.
Police identified the arrested person
as Eric Medina, 33 years old, single, a resident of Nazareth, Kabasalan,
Zamboanga Sibugay.
He was arrested by virtue of Warrant Of
Arrest issued by Hon. Judge Vicente S. De La Plaza II - Presiding Judge RTC 9
Branch 36, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay for the crime of "Rape" docketed
with Criminal Case Number I-6457 dated January 12, 2018 with no bail
recommended.
Arrested person was properly
turned-over to personnel of Kabasalan MPS for proper disposition.

CITY (June 25, 2018) - On June 24,
2018 at about 3:45 PM, City Drug Enforcement Team of Dapitan CPS together with
personnel of PDEA arrested one person for illegal drugs during the conduct of
joint buy-bust operation at National Highway of Brgy Sulangon, Dapitan City.
Police identified the arrested person
as Elbert G. Ocba, 33 years old, and a resident of Brgy. Mabuhay, Liloy,
Zamboanga del Norte, a Newly Identified illegal drug Personality of Dapitan
CPS.
Confiscated from his possession and
control were the following:
One pc heat-sealed transparent plastic
sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be Shabu as buy bust
evidence,

injured in vehicular accident
SERGIO
OSMEÑA, Zamboanga del Norte (June 25, 2018) –
One passenger injured in vehicular accident transpired along National Highway
of Barangay Poblacion Bajo in Sergio Osmena municipality, Zamboanga Del Norte
at about 5:20 PM of June 24, 2018.
Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that a Utility Service Vehicle (SUV) color gray Mitsubishi Strada
bearing plate number ACB 4597 driven by PSI Oliver Boral Guibao, male, 43 years
old, married, Filipino, PNP member assigned at Don Victoriano Misamis,
Occidental a resident of PK-2B, Kalilangan, Bukidnon. He failed to present the
Certificate of Registration and Official Receipt of the vehicle, Investigator
On-Case PO2 Elbert Castillon Taata said.
PO2 Elbert Taata also said that the SUV
has five passengers travelling from Butanas Swimming Pool Brgy. Sinai, Sergio
Osmeña plying to Don Victoriano, Misamis Occidental and upon reaching at the
curve portion of National Highway of Brgy. Poblacion Bajo, Sergio Osmeña, the
driver suddenly lost control and accidentally bumped unto the side
railings/barrier of the road causing the vehicle to fell down at the cliff
area.
One passenger identified as Nice Pabor,
female, 39 years old, Filipino and a resident of Canibungan Dako, Clarin.
Misamis Occidental sustained injuries on the different parts of her body and
was brought to Sergio Osmena Municipal Hospital for medical treatment but later
transferred to Provincial Hospital of Misamis Occidental for proper medication,
investigator said.
The vehicle was damaged and still at
the place of accident, he said.

Class Room partially damage by Fire
KATIPUNAN,
ZamboNorte (June 25, 2018) – One
class room was partially damage by fire transpired at Brgy. New Tambo,
Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 3:00 PM of June 24, 2018, immediately,
personnel of Katipunan MPS informed the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) –
Katipunan, on the said report.
The firefighters of BFP-Katipunan
together with the PNP personnel of Katipunan MPS proceeded at said place.
Initial investigation conducted by the
Bureau of Fire Protection of Katipunan, disclosed that the Class Room of Grade
II of New Tambo Elementary School was burned wherein Maria Lorna Dalman is the
class room adviser.
The room was gutted by fire about 60%
upon the conduct of firefighting operation.
The fire started on the ceiling of said
room based on the statement of the classroom adviser Maria Lorna Dalman.
Prior to the incident, at around 2:00
pm of June 22, 2018, the class room adviser not able to turn off the fuse box
of the said classroom for the reason that she was afraid of getting electrocuted.
The fire was declared fire out at about
3:30 pm of same date with no injured and no casualty reported.

LILOY,
ZamboNorte (June 25, 2018) – One
died in vehicular accident occurred along National Highway of Barangay Timan,
Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte at around 5:00pm on June 24, 2018.
Initial investigation disclosed that
the accident involving Utility Service Vehicle (USB) and motorcycle. The SUV-Red
Mitsubishi Adventure, with Temp. Plate Nr 100102, driven by Abdu-lsabol Joe
Pandih, 29 years old, married, self-employed and resident of Gov. Village,
Dipolog City and motorcycle-Honda Single XRM 125 with black and white color
combination, Plate Nr 4598JK, driven by Anecito Tumimbang Nasara, male, 29
years old, single with live-in partner, resident of Padi-anan, Salvador, Lanao
del Norte.
Further investigation disclosed that
SUV is running from Brgy. Caracol, Salug going to Zamboanga Sibugay while the
motorcycle is running from Zamboanga City going to Dipolog City, PO2 Argie M
Lihaylihay, Investigator–On–Case said.
He added that upon reaching at the
curve portion of the road, the motorcycle driver trying to overtake the Rural
Transit Bus but an incoming SUV running in opposite direction prompted the
driver of motorcycle losses control and collided to SUV.
The motorcycle driver sustained severe
injuries on the different parts of his body and was immediately brought to
Liloy Health District Hospital but few minutes later he was pronounced dead by
the attending physician.
The driver of vehicle-1 was properly
informed of his constitutional rights and temporary detained at Liloy MPS for
filling of appropriate charges in court.
Both vehicles incurred damage and was
brought to Liloy MPS for proper disposition. The incident transpired on or
about 4:50 pm of same date.
