Incident
RIZAL - Be informed that at about 7:14
o’clock in the evening of April 20, 2017, Rizal MPS received a report from
personnel of ZNPPSC that a hacking incident transpired at Brgy. Nilabo, Rizal,
Zamboanga del Norte. Immediately, elements of Rizal MPS led by PSI Gregorio
Joel C. Bungulan proceeded at said place to verify the veracity of the report
and successfully arrested the suspect identified as NELSON SIMBORIO ATIG, 31
years old, married, resident of said place. Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that the suspect Nelson SimborioAtig, who is under the influence of
intoxicating liquor had a heated argument with the victim his uncleidentified
as MARCELINO PROSPERO ATIG, 53 years old, married, a Councilor of Barangay
Nilabo, Rizal, Z.N. then the suspect got a bolo and hacked the victim but the
victim able to evade and ran away. Confiscated from
the possession and control of the suspect is a bolo used in hacking the victim
measuring 19 inches long including the handle with scabbard. At about 1:30
o’clock in the afternoon of April 21, 2017, a case of “ATTEMPTED HOMICIDE” was
already filed at Municipal Circuit Trial Court of RIZAL-SIBUTAD, Ninth Judicial
Region, Rizal, Zamboanga del Norte against the suspect Nelson Simborio Atig
docketed in Criminal Case No. 2875-R with bail bond recommended amounting to
Twelve Thousand Pesos (P12,000.00) for his temporary liberty. Arrested suspect was temporarily detained at
Rizal MPS detention cell waiting for the Commitment Order for proper

Mauling Incident
PIÑAN
- Be informed that at about 4:58 o’clock in the afternoon of April 21, 2017,
one Alexander O. Pagasian, legal age, married, Barangay Chairman of Barangay
Villarico, Piñan, ZDN informed Piñan MPS thru phone call that a mauling incident
transpired at said place. Initial investigation conducted by the responding
elements of Piñan MPS disclosed that at about 4:00 o’clock in the afternoon of
April 21, 2017, the victim FERNANDO SUMALPONG ANDAMAN legal age, married,
farmer and a resident of same place arrived at the house of PrincetaGapol
wherein the suspect identified as BEMAR DAMAING, 28 years old, married, farmer
also a resident of same place was also present at said house and believed to be
under the influence of intoxicating liquor. According to the witnesses’,
moments later after theirconversation, without any apparent reason the suspect
grabbed and took down the victim and smash the victim’s face three (3) times
with the used of stone resulted to serious injuries. After the incident, the
victim was immediately brought to Piñan District Hospital by the responding
personnel of Piñan MDRRMC and further forwarded to Zanorte Medical Center
Dipolog City for further medical treatment while the suspect was arrested by
the responding PNP team at his residence and now temporarily detained at Piñan
MPS detention cell.Recovered at the crime scene is a piece of stone used by the

CITY - Be informed that at about 5:30 o’clock in the afternoon of April 21,
2017, inside Corazon C Aquino Hospital, Biasong, Dipolog City joint personnel
of PIB led by PCIMENDEL CASAO, Dipolog City Police Station led PO2 Ernesto
Tigon and elements of Oroquieta CPS led PSUPT ALLAN R RUBA, PPSC-MISOCC SWAT
led by PO2 Lloyd Tumangob arrested one DINO DAMINAR y BANLUTA, 23 years old, single
and a resident of Purok 1 Villaflor, Oroquita City, for the crime of “MURDER” docketed under
Criminal Case No. 2482 dated April 21, 2017 issued by Judge Alma V. Azanza of
RTC Branch 12, Oroquieta City. The accused still admitted at Corazon C Aquino

Vehicular Traffic Accident (MVTA)
LILOY
- Be informed that a about 10:30 o’clock in the evening of April 21, 2017, Liloy
MPS received a cellphone call from a concerned citizen that a vehicular
accident transpired along the national highway of
barangay Dela Paz, Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte. Immediately, team of Liloy
MPS led by SPO2 Romeo Abil proceeded at said place to verify the veracity of the
report wherein a vehicular traffic accident involving two (2) vehiclesand likewise found out a two
(2) injured persons lying on the road. Immediately the responding team called
up the Red Cross volunteer to evacuate the injured persons to Liloy Integrated
Health District Hospital for medical treatment. Vehicle involved were the

Moises, male, 20 years old, Filipino, single and both resident of Barangay
Canaan, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte while Vehicle 2 - a white and blackcolor combination Utility Vehicle model Mitsubishi, bearing Plate No.
JVD 296, with Engine No. 4D32528112, Chassis No. LTO-R9-C-3304, O.R. No.
949335402 dated July 5, 2016, registered under the name of Roberto Estrada, a
resident of Dela Paz, Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte. Initial investigation
conducted disclosed thatat about 10:20 o’clock in the evening the Vehicle 1
(Motorstar) while traversing the national highway of Barangay Baybay, Liloy, ZNGoing
to the municipality of Salug, ZN, and
upon reaching at BrgyDela Paz, Liloy, ZN,
vehicle 1 bumped on the rear portion of
vehicle 2 which was parked beside the road with a warning device on the
rear part, which resulted to vehicle 1stake under the left portion of vehicle
2, while the driver and the back rider were thrown from their motorcycle
towards the road. MrMeldridMoises sustained fracture on right
leg, laceration on his right eyebrow and injuries on the different parts of his
body, while MrRodel Moises also sustained laceration on his right knee, back

Vehicular Non-Traffic Accident
LEON
B. POSTIGO - Be informed that at about 7:40 o’clock in the morning of April 22,
2017, a cellular phone call received by Leon B. Postigo MPS that a Vehicular
Traffic Accident occurred along the barangay road of Brgy. Tinaplan, Leon B.
Postigo wherein one black with red combination XRM bearing Plate Number 6060
JL, Engine Number 16E1374-26, Chassis Number 16137425, own and driven by ALBERT
SUMIWAT y ILAYGAN, 22 years old, single and a resident of aforesaid place, was travelling from BrgyTalinga bound to
BrgyTinaplan, Leon B Postigo, ZN and upon reaching the curve lane near the
creek, driver was accidentally bump to a
Palkata tree after he loses control of his MC that resulted to his
instantaneous death. The cadaver was formally turned-over to his family after
the declaration of the attending physician. Incident happened at about 7:00

SINDANGAN - Be
informed that about 7:45 o’clock in the morning of April 22, 2017, CHRISTOPHER
ATOPAN y SOTILO, 40 years old, male, Filipino, married, a resident of Purok Buli, Minaog, Dipolog
City, temporarily residing in Piao,
Sindangan, ZN, and a Loan Officer of ZORAYDA, LENDING SERVICES, CORP situated
at Brgy Poblacion, Sindangan, ZN, reported to Sindangan MPS, accordingly he
discovered that their office was entered by unidentified person/s. Acted on
said report, PNP personnel of Sindangan MPS proceeded to the reported place to
conduct investigation as well as to conduct crime scene processing. Initial investigation
conducted by the responding team, disclosed that at about 7:15 o’clock in the
morning of April 22, 2017 when CHRISTOPHER ATOPAN arrived at their office, he
discovered that the things inside were already scattered and the drawers were
already opened that promptedhim to immediately report to Sindangan
MPS. Further investigation revealed that the unidentified suspect/s possibly
gained entrance at the roof by way of making a hole and passed thru the ceiling
and once inside searched anything therein and destroyed the padlock of the door
of the separate room where the vault was located.Fortunately, the vault still
intact and no money has been lost as per declared by the manager, CHONA SANCHEZ
and the cashier, SHARON CALIBO, except the hard disc and DVD were lost. Incident
happened at about 1:00 o’clock dawnof same date. Case is now under follow-up by
intelligence operatives of Sindangan MPS to possible identification and arrest

OSMEÑA - Be informed that on or about 11:30 o’clock in the morning of April 23,
2017 at Barangay San Jose, Sergio Osmeῆa, Zamboanga del
Norte, PNP elements of Polanco MPS composed of SPO2 Simeon Cayacap Wapelle
Jr, SPO1 Norberto Doysabas Penados and
PO3 Federino Pangilayan Manulong arrested one
WARREN VILLARUS y BABA alyas WARREN LOZADA, 29 years old, married,
driver, a resident of Barangay Milad Polanco, Zamboanga del Norte and by virtue
of Warrant of Arrest issued by HON. Deborah G. Nazario, Presiding Judge MTC of
Polanco, ZN for the case of “DIRECT ASSAULT”docketed under CC# 3320 dated June
19, 2014 with no bailrecommended. Suspect now detained at Polanco MPS for

- e informed that on or about 6:59 o’clock in the evening of April 23, 2017,
Polanco MPS received a cellular phone call from TOC-PNP personnel of Dipolog
CPS informing that there was a vehicular traffic accident occurred at Brgy.
Dansullan, Polanco, ZN.Acted immediately on the report, PNP team of Polanco MPS
composed of SPO2 Joseph Rolly Taman Elumba-Traffic Investigator on Duty with
cellphone number-09209718514 PO3 Gregorio OmandamDigamon III, PO2 Wilmer
ReveloPancho and PO2 JaneryMoitGania proceeded to the place of incident on
board a Mahindra marked vehicle to conduct follow-up investigation.Initial
investigation conducted by the responding team disclosed that at around 6:45
o’clock in the evening more or less of April 23, 2017 one Honda XRM Color Red
with Plate Number MC-7153 owned and driven by TERSO BATOCAEL y JUGUILON, 45 years
old married with his wife Mrs. ELINITA BATOCAEL y TIONG, 41 years old both
residence of Miputak, Dipolog City while travelling from Dansullan, Polanco
ZN towards Dipolog City, upon reaching
at SitioGusawan, Dansullan, Polanco, ZN accidentally bumped into a
stockpile beside the road resulting the
driver losses control of his driven motorcycle and his back rider thrown away
and sustained head injury while the driver sustained minor bruises on the
different parts of his body. Both driver
and back rider were brought to ZANORTE Medical Center, SicayabDipolog City for
medical treatment but Mrs. ElinitaBatocael pronounced dead on arrival by the
attending physician. The motorcycle involved was brought to Polanco MPS for proper disposition. For information.
