Report on Anti- Illegal Drugs through Buy Bust Operation

SIOCON, Zamboanga del Norte (Dec. 27, 2018) - Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Siocon MPS together with troops from 905th RMFB9 with proper coordination to PDEA-IX conducted anti-illegal drug buy-bust operation at Sitio Kayatian, Brgy Poblacion, Siocon Zamboanga del Norte at about 10:35 PM of December 26, 2018.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of the suspect identified as Jovie Alas Jaman , 29 years old, married, female, jobless, member of Sahibad Drug Group and one (1) Jenny Jane Gumanda Compis, 27 years old (DOB-Jan. 13, 1991) , single, female, previously arrested last June 15, 2018 and posted bail for her temporary liberty for Violation of Section 15, R.A. 9165.

The arrested personalities are all residents of Brgy. Lumay, Baliguian, Zamboanga Del Norte.

Recovered from Jovie’s possession:

a.) One (1) pc P500 bill with serial # PT689584- (Buy Bust Money)

b.) One (1) piece medium size rectangular transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be “Shabu” marked as SAJ-BB-01 12-26-18.

c.) One (1) pc disposable lighter color orange

Confiscated items were as follows seen in plain view;

a.) Three (3) pcs cut soft drink straws served as improvised “scoop”

b.) Four (4) pcs cut/open empty transparent plastic sachets with residue of believed “SHABU”

c.) One (1) unit cellular phone color blue “Samsung” with sim and battery inserted.

d.) One (1) pc cigarette pack “Fort” containing one (1) pc crumpled tin foil

e.) One (1) pc one-hundred-peso bill (P100.00) with serial HT702656

f.) Twelve (12) pcs believed used/burned crumpled/rolled aluminum tin foils

g.) Eight (8) pcs tiny rolled aluminum tin foil served as needle

h.) One (1) pc color red cellophane pack with markings “Sabaku” containing different pcs of transparent plastic.

Markings and inventory were done in the presence of Mr. Arnel Asuero – Media representative, Hon. Khan Mohammad Esmali- Brgy Chairman and Hon. Ernesto M. Gabo– Barangay Kagawad.

Arrested suspects were brought to Siocon District Hospital for medical and physical examination and confiscated items were now under custody of Siocon MPS for proper disposition.

Vehicular Traffic Accident

TAMPILISAN, Zamboanga del Norte (Dec. 27, 2018) - Vehicular accident transpired at about 12:45 PM of December 26, 2018 at the National Highway of Brgy Poblacion, Tampilisan, Zamboanga Del Norte.

The vehicles involved were:

Veh-1 Innova, black bearing plate nr. A7R770 and driven by Cesar Daud Daud, 41yo, male, a resident of Asinan Manicahan Zamboanga City;

Veh-2 Toyota Avanza, silver gray, bearing plate no, A2M842 and driven by Levi Mira Neri, 54, married a resident of Bangkirohan Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay with two passengers his son Levi Nicholai Ypil Nire, 24, and his wife Barbara Ypil Neri, 54 who felt nervous and

Veh-3 Honda XRM 110, Blue, bearing with temporary plate no.0912-32880 driven by Chelle Dee Ebao Cabasag, 21 with back rider Rochelle Ebao Cabasag, 22 without wearing protective gear both residence of ZNAC Tamiplisan, Zamboanga Del Norte.

Accordingly, the veh 1 was travelling going to Ipil direction and veh 2 was also travelling going to Dipolog City direction, the driver of veh 2 lost control his driven veh was hit the veh 1 who was travelling in opposite direction hitting at the left rear tire of the Veh 1 because of the impact done by veh 2 sideswiped the veh 3 which was also travelling towards Ipil direction.

The vehicle 3 was underneath the vehicle 2 as a result of the driver and back rider of veh 3 sustained serious injuries of different parts of their bodies.

The driver and back rider of veh 3 sustained serious injuries of different parts of their bodies and immediately rushes by the Tampilisan LDRRMC to Ipil General Hospital for medical treatment.

Hacking Incident

GODOD, Zamboanga Del Norte (Dec. 28, 2018) - On December 27, 2018 at about 5:00 PM, Godod MPS received a cellphone call from Hon. Reneboy A. Bangco, Barangay Captain of Sioran, Godod, Zambonga del Norte informing of an alleged hacking incident transpired at Sitio Busyawan, Sioran, Godod, Zamboanga del Norte.

PNP Personnel of Godod MPS together with Dr. Erycar D. Manaois of Godod Rural Health Unit responded the said incident.

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that according to Hon. Reneboy A. Bangco, at about 3:30 PM of December 27, 2018, Nonoy Tatad and Marlo Paslot Tatad, 15 years old, male, Filipino, single and a resident of Sitio Busyawan, Sioran, Godod, Zamboanga del Norte went to his house.

They reported and alleged that when he (Marlo Tatad) and his farther named Venacio Tongko Tatad Sr arrived at their house of said place at about 1:30 PM of same date they discovered that his (Marlo Paslot Tatad) mother named Agripina Paslot Tatad, 52 years old, female, housewife, married and his sister named Rosaly Paslot Tatad, 15 years old, single, female, Filipino, jobless and both residents of Sitio Busyawan, Sioran, Godod, Zamboanga del Norte were lying on the floor inside of their house bathed with blood, and to his amazed of the incident.

He and his uncle Nonoy Tatad directly went to Hon. Reneboy A. Bangco and reported the incident.

Further, that upon arrival of the responding PNP personnel together with Dr. Erycar D. Manaois and the Barangay Officials of Sioran, Godod, Zamboanga Del Norte at the crime scene they discovered that the victims were laying on the floor and noticed that the victims sustained multiple wounds and unconscious.

Right there and then, Dr. Erycar D. Manaois conducted ocular inspection to the body of the victims and pronounced dead.

During post mortem examination conducted by Dr. Erycar D. Manaois she found out that Rosaly Paslot Tatad sustained multiple hacked wounds in her body while Agripina Paslot Tatad sustained three (3) gunshot wounds in her body causing their instantaneous death.

Right after, the cadavers were immediately turned-over to their family for proper disposition. Continuous thorough investigation conducted by Godod MPS in order to attain the motive of the killing and to identify the real perpetrator/s and to file appropriate charges in court.

Truck Loaded with Mahogany Held

PIÑAN, Zamboanga del Norte (Dec. 28, 2918) - On December 27, 2018 at about 9:00 A.M., a concern citizen reported to Piñan MPS regarding the discovery of one (1) unit Canter Truck loaded with mahogany logs which fell down beside the provincial road of Sitio Sicoco, Brgy. Del Pilar, Piñan, Zamboanga Del Norte.

Upon receipt of information, PNP personnel of Piñan MPS immediately coordinated with the CENRO office located at Brgy. Segabe, Piñan, Zamboanga Del Norte.

Thereafter, CENRO personnel together with PNP personnel of Piñan MPS proceeded to the area to verify the said report.

Initial Investigation conducted disclosed that said Canter Truck loaded with mahogany logs bearing plate number MBT 583, color white registered under the name of Dennis Adaza Tan resident of Bonifacio Street, Dapitan City travelling from Brgy. Head Tipan, Mutia, Zamboanga del Norte driven by one Eddie Gumial Abitona, 54 years old, widow, a resident of Dapitan City with license number JO1O7004471 passing Brgy. Calican towards Poblacion South, Piñan, ZN and upon reaching particularly at uphill road, suddenly said Canter Truck encountered a mechanical trouble in which there was a malfunction of break causing to fell down at the side of the provincial road.

As a consequence the said truck incurred partly damaged but no one was injured.

A total of seventy (70) mahogany logs that was loaded to said truck were temporarily deposited to CENRO office together with one (1) unit Canter truck for further verification and proper disposition.

Reporter Incident in Zamboanga del Norte, December 22-23, 2018

person was wounded in Shooting Incident

KATIPUNAN, Zamboanga Del Norte (Dec. 22, 2018) – One person was wounded in Shooting incident transpired at Sitio Sigabon, Brgy. Malugas, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 5; 00 PM of December 21, 2018.

Initial Investigation conducted disclosed that victim, identified as Noel Cabahug Saluma, 30 years old, married, of Sitio Sigabon, Malugas, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte, farmer, Filipino and a resident of Sitio Sigabon, Malugas, Katipunan was carrying his two-year old daughter at said place when a certain Rolly Tinaco Saluma, victim’s cousin and suspect, 38 years old, single with a live-in partner, Filipino, and a resident of same place who was already intoxicated with liquor approached him uttering some invective words against this person.

The suspect pulled his handgun which was tucked on his waist and fired it on the victim once but fortunately the suspect’s live-in partner identified as Biatriz Lanit and his grandmother identified as Dominica Dela Crus Saluma were able to hold herein suspect and prevented him from getting clear aim at the victim causing the bullet to hit the ground.

Looking not for any trouble, the victim who was still holding his two-year old daughter in his arms turned his back and simply ignored his cousin, Roly Saluma and was about to enter his house.

But the suspect shoots him again hitting him through and through the left portion of his upper back. The suspect fled towards unknown direction right after the incident.

One Raymund Saluma, 33 years old, single, jobless, Filipino and a resident of same place turned-over the Cal .38 Revolver bearing Serial No.: RC 96E1432 which was used by the suspect along with three (3) live ammunitions and three (3) fired cartridges unto the custody of PO3 Dioscoro Enopia Ello, PNP Personnel of Katipunan MPS.

The victim was immediately brought to Zamboanga Del Norte Medical Center and currently being confined thereat for treatment. Motive of the suspect is personal grudge.

Man Arrested for the Crime of Homicide

KATIPUNAN, Zamboanga Del Norte (Dec. 23, 2018) - Police operatives of Katipunan Police Station conducted manhunt operation at Brgy Sitog, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 7:30 AM of December 22, 2018.

Arrested was Reymond Benoy Marigay, 27 years old and a resident of said place. He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Judge Alnaiza T. Hassiman of 5th MCTC of Katipunan-S. Osmeña, Sr., 9th RTC, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte dated December 19, 2018 for the crime of Attempted Homicide docketed under Criminal Case no 432-18 (K) with bail bond amounting to Php 12,000.00.

Arrested wanted person is now in custody of Katipunan MPS for proper disposition.

Dec, 21, 2018 Reported Incident in Zamboanga del Norte

2 Died, 1 Hurt Due to Fallen Tree

DAPITAN CITY, Zamboanga Del Norte (Dec. 22, 2018) - an accident transpired at Brgy. Dampalan, Dapitan City, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 8:00 AM of December 21, 2018.

 Three (3) unidentified victims were hit by a fallen Mahogany tree that causes them sustained injuries.

Initial investigation conducted revealed that the three (3) victims identified only as:

        Rey Mag-Usara, (driver) legal age, male, of Brgy. Dasa, Sapangdalaga, Mis. Occidental together with back riders identified as

        Elma Pagasian Mag-usara, 49 years old and

        Estrella Omillada Pactol, 38 years old, both female and residents of Maligubaan, Concepcion, Missamis Occidental were onboard a motorcycle traversing the road going to La Libertad, Zamboanga Del Norte.

However, as they passed by the road of Upper Dampalan, particularly at the farm owned by Alfredo Sy, a Mahogany tree suddenly fell into the highway and accidentally hit them resulting to suffer serious physical injuries.

Victims were immediately brought to Zamboanga Del Norte Medical Center for medical treatment but unfortunately, two (2) of the victims Elma Mag-usara and Rey Mag-usara were declared dead on arrival by attending physician Dr. Vincent Troy Monte while the other victim identified as Estrella Pactol was undergone medical treatment at the said hospital.

Arsonist Arrested in Dipolog City

DIPOLOG CITY, Zamboanga Del Norte (Dec. 22, 2018) - Operatives of Dipolog City Police Station and Molave Police Station, Zamboanga Del Sur PPO conducted manhunt operation at Barra, Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 4:30 PM of December 21, 2018.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of Joel Sumambo Gumilos, 27 years old, single, motorcycle driver and a resident of Purok Pag-asa, Barra, Dipolog City.

The suspect was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Jaime B Caberte– Presiding Judge of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur for Destructive Arson under Art. 320 (2) in rel. to the last Para of Art 320(5), all of the RPC as amended by RA No. 7659, docketed under criminal case number 2011-10-2645 with no bail recommended.

Accused was arrested in front of Brgy Hall of Barra, Dipolog City and now temporarily under custody at Dipolog City Police Station for proper disposition.

Drug Suspect Cuffed for Violation of RA 9165

SINDAANGAN, Zamboanga del Norte (Dec. 22, 2018) - Combined police operatives of Sindangan Police Station, Zamboanga Del Norte Provincial Mobile Force Company and Drugs Enforcement Unit of PRO7 conducted manhunt operation in Brgy. Lawis, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 9:30 AM of December 21, 2018.

The operation resulted in the arrest of Marissa Obrero aka “Lisa Obrero” 58 years old, married, with address at Tangke, Talisay City, Cebu City.

This is by virtue of warrant of arrest for Violation of Sec 5, Article II of R.A. 9165 known as Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 docketed under criminal case no. TCR-2015-659 issued by Hon. Glenda C. Go, presiding judge of RTC, Branch 65, Talisay City, Cebu, with no bail recommended.

Subject person was brought to Sindangan District Hospital for physical and medical examination and brought back to Sindangan MPS for arrest booking prior turn-over to the issuing court.

Reported Incidents in Zamboanga del Norte on December 19, 2018

Implementation of Search Warrant

RIZAL, Zamboanga del Norte (Dec. 19, 2018) – A joint elements of Zambonaga Del Norte Provincial Mobile Force Company, CIDG Zamboanga del Norte and Rizal Police Station implemented the Search Warrant at Brgy. Sipaon, Rizal, Zamboanga del Norte against Amil Dayunot y Abne, male, 44 yrs. old, married and a resident of Sitio Sipaon, Rizal, Zamboanga Del Norte, on December 18, 2018, at about 5:30 AM.

The suspect was arrested is virtue of a Search Warrant issued by Hon. Judge Vittorio Dante D Dalman of MCTC Rizal-Sibutad, 9th Juicial Region, Sibutad, Zamboanga del Norte dated December 14, 2018 with Search Warrant no. 2018-1 for Violation of RA 10591.

The Search was started at about 5:30AM and ended at about 6:00AM and was conducted in a peaceful and orderly manner in the presence of two (2) Barangay officials.

During the search, confiscated were the following:

 One (1) unit P7 cal.45 with SN 677985 (no license);

 One (1) unit Cal 38 w/o SN;

 One (1) pc magazine for cal 45;

 Seven (7) pcs live ammunition of cal 45; and

 Six (6) pcs live ammunition of cal 38.

Meanwhile, at about 8:00 AM, suspect brought to CIDG office for proper disposition.

Implementation of Search Warrant

DAPITAN CITY (Dec 19, 2018) – The joint elements of Zambonaga Del Norte Provincial Mobile Force Company, CIDG Zamboanga del Norte and Dapitan City Police Station implemented the Search Warrant at Sitio San Roque, Brgy. Aseniero, Dapitan City, Zamboanga Del Norte on December 18, 2018 at about 4:30 AM.

The operation was conducted against Ranulfo O. Paglinawan, Barangay Chairman of La Victoria, La Libertad, but temporarily residing at said Barangay. This is by virtue of Search Warrant no. 10-S-2018 for violation of RA 10591.

The said SW was issued by Hon. Hilarion Jonathan G Maagad, Presiding Judge of MTCC Dapitan, 9th Juicial Region, Dapitan City, Zamboanga del Norte dated December 17, 2018.

During the search, confiscated were the following:

 One (1) unit carbine cal. 30 m2 with sn# 410590;

 One (1) pc magazine assembly of cal. 30 m2 carbine;

 Ten (10) pcs of live ammos of cal. 30 carbine m2;

 One (1) unit norinco cal. 45 pistol with sn # 918579;

 Two (2) pcs magazine assembly of cal. 45 pistol;

 Eighteen (18) pcs of live ammos of cal. 45 pistol; and

 Two (2) pcs fragmentation grenade.

Also recovered from the possession and control of certain Christian Malacat who was in the same house during the search were one (1) Cal 38 revolver and eleven (11) live ammunitions.

At about 8:00 o’clock in the morning, suspects were brought to CIDG office for proper disposition.

Male Cadaver Found

ROXAS, Zamboanga del Norte (Dec. 19, 2018) - A male cadaver was found at creek in Brgy. Lower Irasan, Roxas, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 7:15 AM of December 18, 2018.

The victim was identified as Rainier Teves Bartonico, male, 19 years old, jobless and a resident of Purok Beans, Brgy. Lower Irasan, Roxas. He was sustained multiple stabbed wounds at the back portion of his body.

Initial investigation disclosed that at about 6:30AM of December 18, 2018, his father-in-law, Celson Sunguran Patani, 48 years old and a resident of said place arrived home and later he saw the body of the victim lying lifeless beside the creek near in their house. The father-in-law runs towards his neighbors to call for help.

Investigator on case is still conducting investigation to identify the possible suspects of the incident. The Investigator requested for SOCO Team and the cadaver was brought to Rubio Funeral Homes, Piao, Roxas for examination and funeral services.

December 12-17, 2018 Reported Incidents from the municipalities of Zamboanga del Norte

1 person killed in Hacking Incident

PINAN, Zamboanga Del Norte (Dec. 12, 2018) – One person was killed in Hacking incident occurred at Purok 3, Brgy. Silano, Piñan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 6:30 PM of December 11, 2018.

Immediately upon receipt of information, PNP personnel of Piñan MPS proceeded to the aforementioned place to validate the said information.

Upon Arrival thereat, the team found the suspect identified as Marcelino Acorin Villasica, 40 years old, single, with blood stains all over his hands and his clothes who was already held by the barangay officials of said barangay.

The responding team also found the lifeless body of the victim identified as Nicasio Belarmino Alaban, 71 years old, widow, farmer and resident of same place, lying on the floor bathing on his own blood.

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that, at around 6:30PM of same date, the victim was invited for a dinner by the sister of the suspect identified as Manuela Acorin Villasica, 49 years old, separated. However, while the victim was already inside and sitting in the kitchen, the suspect who was sitting in the balcony suddenly approached the victim holding a bolo and there and then hacked the victim instantaneously hitting the neck and on the different parts of the victim’s body.

The sister of the suspect (Manuela Villasica) who was preparing dinner at that time, upon seeing his brother (suspect) hacking the victim, got panic and immediately went outside and asked help of his neighboring brother.

Meanwhile, at around 7:20 PM of same date, two Barangay Councilors identified as Tito Duhaylungsod and Martino Villasica responded the said incident and upon arrival at the crime scene, they caught the suspect still hacking the victim’s neck.

Fortunately, they have made the suspect calmed and lowered his bolo off the ground and held the latter. Accordingly, the suspect was believed to be suffering a mental illness and could be the reason of the said incident.

At around 9:00PM of same evening, Dr. Ricardo S. Awit-MHO arrived at the crime scene and conducted post-mortem examination to the victim’s cadaver and thereafter, the same was then turned-over to the victim’s nearest kin.

Suspect was arrested and is now detained at Piñan MPS for proper disposition. Recovered bolo with blood stains is now in the custody of said police station for court exhibit.

Male Cadaver found

SIRAWAI, Zamboanga Del Norte (Dec. 14, 2018) - A male cadaver was found at coconut farm of Paning Managsaca, 300 meters away from Brgy. Bitugan, Sirawai, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 10:00 AM of December 13, 2018.

Immediately, personnel of Sirawai MPS together with representative from Rural Health Unit proceeded to said place to verify the veracity of the report and to conduct investigation.

Upon arrival, the responding team found a body of a person lying on supine position and has blood on his head.

Post Mortem Examination conducted by Annelos A. Cody, Nurse II disclosed that the cause of death was the gunshot wound on the head, entry point was on the left temporal and exit at the right occipital and believe that incident happen last night of December 12, 2018.

Investigation conducted by Sirawai MPS disclosed that the said dead body was identified as Junior Macoy Cruz, 52 years old, male, single, a resident of above mentioned Barangay and a coconut tapper/ tenant of the coconut farm of Paning Managsaca. Cadaver of the victim was turned-over to his family while personnel of Sirawai MPS are now conducting follow up investigation to identify the motive and possible arrest of the suspect.

Violation of RA 10591 through Search Warrant

KATIPUNAN, Zamboanga Del Norte (Dec. 15, 2018) - On December 14, 2018 at about 7:00 AM, a joint personnel of Zamboanga Del Norte -CIDG together with Zamboanga Del Norte Provincial Mobile Force Company and Katipunan Police Station conducted service of Search Warrant No 007-2018 for Violation of RA 10591.

The Search Warrant was issued by Presiding Judge Rene G. Dondoyano, Branch 6 of RTC 9th Judicial Region, Dipolog City dated December 13, 2018 against othe suspect identified as Gonzalo Onggogan Galvez, Jr., 64 yrs. old, married, Brgy Captain of Basagan, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte and a resident of Purok 2B, Brgy Basagan, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte.

The operatint team was Seized during the said Law Enforcement Operation was one (1) unit Armscor Cal 45 Pistol with serial number 1424187 with two (2) pcs magazine assembly.

Arrested suspect and seized items now under custody of CIDG for proper disposition.

Child Abuser Held in Sibuco, Zamboanga Del Norte

SIBUCO, Zamboanga Del Norte (Dec. 16, 2018) - Police operatives of Sibuco Police Station have arrested a farmer during manhunt operation at Brgy Puliran, Sibuco, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 5:40 AM of December 15, 2018.

PCSUPT Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9 Regional Director identified the arrested man as Jerom Sioko Angcagon, 34 yrs. old, male, single, farmer and a resident of Brgy Lambaguan, Sibuco, Zamboanga Del Norte.

This is by virtue of Warrant of Arrest charged for the crime of Rape in relation to RA 7610, Criminal Case No 857 issued by Presiding Judge Laarni N. Dajao of RTC 9th Judicial Region Branch 27, Siocon dated October 30, 2009 no bail recommended.

Arrested person now detained at Sibuco MPS for proper disposition.

Man Arrested of the Crime of Homicide

SALUG, Zamboanga Del Norte (Dec. 16, 2018) - PNP personnel of Salug Police Station has arrested a 32-year old man in a manhunt operation at Brgy Balakan, Salug, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 10:15 AM of December 15, 2018.

PCSUPT Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9 Regional Director identified the arrested man as Antonino Buhale Manong Jr, 32 years old and a resident of Brgy Dinuan, Salug, Zamboanga Del Norte.

The accused was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Oscar D Tomarong of Branch 28, 9th Judicial Region, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte dated November 19, 2015 for the crime of Homicide docketed under Criminal Case No. L-002618 with bail bond amounting to Php40,000.00.

Arrested wanted person is now detained Salug MPS for proper disposition.

Man Held in Checkpoint for Possessing FA and Illegal Drugs

LABASON, Zamboanga Del Norte (Dec. 16. 2018) - Joint PNP elements of Labason Police Station and Phil Army conducted simultaneous and random checkpoint, oplan bakal sita at COMPAC 3, Brgy Malintuboan, Labason, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 8:00 AM of December 15, 2018.

As a result at about 10:00 in the morning of same date said team intercepted One (1) Unit MC Yamaha XTZ without plate number attached driven by Allan Planteras Tamayo, Male, 49 years old, married and a resident of Brgy Lamao, Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte.

Confiscated from his possession the following, one (1) unit Cal .45 pistol bearing serial nr 337126 with one (1) magazine containing six (6) live ammos with no legal documents in plain view tacked on his right hips and one (1) piece small sachet containing white crystalline granules suspected as shabu wrapped in a white small paper sealed with an electrical from his pocket during the conduct of body search.

Carnapper Arrested in Police Operation

POLANCO, Zamboanga Del Norte (Dec. 16, 2018) - Combined police operatives of Polanco Police Station, Tampilisan Police Station and 901st Maneuvering Company of RMFB9 have arrested a notorious carnapper during a joint manhunt operation at Purok Dos, Barangay Linabo, Polanco, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 4:00 AM of December 15, 2018.

PCSUPT Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9 Regional Director identified the arrested man as Genny Modillo Caninit, 34 years old, single, farmer, elementary graduate and a resident of said place.

The accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Oscar D. Tomarong Presiding Judge, RTC Branch 8 of Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte for the case of Carnapping docketed under Criminal Case # L-003122 dated May 25, 2017 with bail recommended fixed at (Php180,000.00).

Said wanted person was arrested at his residence at the above mentioned place. Said person now detained at Polanco MPS for proper disposition.

Man Arrested in Iligan City for the Crime of “Frustrated Murder

KATIPUNAN, Zamboanga Del Norte (Dec. 16, 2018) - PNP personnel of Katipunan Police Station have arrested man who is charged for the crime of frustrated murder at Purok 4, Brgy. Tibanga, Iligan, City at around 10:00 AM of December 15, 2018.

PCSUPT Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9 Regional Director identified the arrested man as Jimboy Gomobal Bacalso, 38 years old, married, resident of Purok 4, Brgy. Tibanga, Iligan City.

This is by virtue of Warrant of Arrest charge for the crime of “Frustrated Murder”, under Criminal Case number 025-99(K), issued on March 29, 1999 by Presiding Judge, Hon. Fidela C. Candola of 5th Municipal Circuit Trial Court (MCTC), 9th Judicial Region, Katipunan, Zamboanga del Norte, with Bailbond of Two Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php200,000.00) for his temporary Liberty.

It was known that, the said suspect was previously living at Brgy. San Antonio Katipunan, Zamboanga del Norte, after committing such crime and detect that he has a warrant of arrest, he hide his self and living at the above mentioned place. Said arrested person brought to Katipunan MPS for proper disposition.

SERGIO OSMINA, Zamboanga Del Norte (Dec. 16, 2018) - A murder suspect listed as the Top 3 Most Wanted of Sergio Osmena town was arrested by operatives of Sergio Osmena Police Station in a manhunt operation at Brgy. Nazareth, Sergio Osmeña, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 5:00 AM of December 15, 2018.

PCSUPT Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9 Regional Director identified the arrested man as Rene Ganio Bal-as, Top 3 Most Wanted Person (Municipal Level), 33 year old, and a resident of said place.

Subject was arrested by virtue of WOA issued by Judge Victoriano D. Lacaya of Br 9, RTC9, Dipolog City dated February 23, 2018 for the crime of Murder docketed under criminal case numbers 22300 and 22301 with no bail recommended and WOA issued by Cherry Joy C. Concha-Ageas of Br 10, 9RTC Dipolog City dated April 10, 2018 for the crime of Frustrated Murder docketed under criminal case number 22376 with bail bond amounting to Php 200,000.00.

Arrested wanted person is now detained at S. Osmena MPS for proper disposition.

1 person killed in Alleged Shooting Incident

SIRAWAI, Zamboanga del Norte (Dec. 17, 2018) – Enrico T. Menor, 58 years old, male, married, a resident of Barangay Guban, Sirawai, Zamboanga Del Norte, Chief Security Officer of Sirawai Plywood and Lumber Corporation (DACON Company) brought and surrendered to Sirawai MPS the person of Romy Cabinom Paller, 41 years old, male, married, also a resident of aforementioned Barangay a Special Cafgu Active Auxiliary (SCAA) of said Company who allegedly shot a certain Leopoldo Robles Duran Jr., 33 years old, male, married and resident of Barangay Lower, Sulitan, Naga, Zamboanga Sibugay and an employee of said Company On December 16, 2018 at about 7:30 AM. 

Initial investigation revealed that at about 12:30 AM of December 16, 2018, the victim (Leopoldo) arrived at the post of the suspect (Romy) who at that time performing his duty as SCAA. The two had a heated argument and physical struggle which brought the latter (suspect) to accidentally shot the said victim. The victim sustained gunshot wound on his body and was brought to Ipil Hospital, Zamboanga Sibugay but was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician.

The firearm used in the commission of an offense was not yet recovered. PNP personnel of Sirawai MPS are now conducting follow- up investigation at the area to identify the motive and to file appropriate charges in court. Suspect is now detained at Sirawai MPS.

Accomplishment Report on the Arrest of Wanted Person

GODOD, Zamboanga del Norte (Dec. 17, 2018) – ThePNP personnel of Godod MPS led by PSI RONALD ALLAN ELIA TINGAS-OIC successfully arrested through intel driven operation the accused of Qualified Theft at about 10:20AM of December 16, 2018.

 The suspect identified as Ariel AglagAnggana, 38 yo, live-in, farmer, Filipino and a resident of BrgyDipopor, Godod, ZN, he was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Tibing A Asaali of RTC9,  Branch1, Zamboanga City dated January 4, 2006 for the crime of Qualified Theft docketed under criminal case number 21657 with bail bond recommended fixed at Forty Thousand Pesos (Php40,000.00).

Subject person was arrested in his residence and is now detained at Godod MPS of proper disposition.

December 8-11, 2018 REPORTED INCIDENT in Zambianga del Norte

Arrest of Person for Violation of RA 10591

LILOY, Zamboanga del Norte (Dec. 11, 2018) - On December 10, 2018 at about 12:30 AM, one person of Desederio Pasinabo Sabanal, male, Filipino, married, 54 years old, businessman and a resident of Barangay Fatima, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte was seen carrying a firearm inside Play Station KTV Bar located at Barangay Fatima, Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte. Acted on the report, PNP personnel of Liloy MPS responded the said incident.

Upon arrival said PNP personnel approached the said person but, subject person hesitantly resisted and attempt to withdraw his firearms tacked on his back which prompted the responding officer to forcibly take his firearms from his possession.

Recovered from his possession and control were One (1) Unit pc Para Ordinance Caliber .45 pistols with serial number 974502, one pc magazine with seven live ammunitions with no legal document presented.

Arrested suspect was duly informed of his constitutional rights and the anti-torture law and was brought to Liloy Integrated Health District Hospital for medical examination. Confiscated items and the subject person are now under the custody of Liloy MPS for proper disposition.

Suicide Incident

KATIPUNAN, Zamboanga del Norte (Dec. 10, 2018) - Suicide incident occurred at Brgy. Uno, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte.

The victim was identified as Leandro Vallejo Nieves, 29 years old, male, single resident of said Barangay. He was found dead hanging in the residence of the victim on the above-mentioned place at around 9:00 AM of December 9, 2018.

PNP Personnel of Katipunan MPS and personnel from MDRRMC responded the said incident.

Initial Investigation conducted disclosed that according to Cristabel Nieves Martines that at about 6:00 AM of same date, while she was on her way home from the church, she saw her nephew, Leandro Vallejo Nieves gathering nylon ropes from his fighting cocks which she knew later that said nylon rope was used in committing suicide by tying his neck and hung himself in the ceiling of his room.

Sometimes on May 2018 the victim also committing suicide using a knife trying to cut his pulse but he was prevented by his friends.

Based on the information gathered from the family, other friends and witnesses, there is no foul play on the incident.

The remains of the victim was turned over to his family for proper disposition.

Gun for Hire Personality Killed in Law Enforcement Operation at Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte

 The fatality as Ricky Limbaga aka Lapad, 44 years old, Jobless, Married and a resident of Pianon, Kalawit, Zamboanga del Norte, wanted for the crime of murder 

Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte (Dec. 1, 2018) - A notorious gun for hire personality was killed during the law enforcement through the serving of search warrant operation conducted by combined operatives of 901st Maneuver Company of RMFB9, Liloy MPS, Provincial Intelligence Branch and Zamboanga Del Norte Provincial Mobile Force Battalion Company at Barangay Banigan, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 7:45 PM of November 28, 2018.

PCSUPT Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9 Regional Director identified the fatality as Ricky Limbaga aka Lapad, 44 years old, Jobless, Married and a resident of Pianon, Kalawit, Zamboanga del Norte, wanted for the crime of murder issued by  judge of RTC Branch 28, 9th Judicial region, Liloy Zamboanga del Norte.

Accordingly, the operating PNP team upon serving the said warrant of arrest wherein the suspect noticed the incoming operating personnel and immediately drew his firearms and fired towards the direction of the operating team which prompted the team to returned fire and hit the suspect to the different parts of his body.

The suspect was immediately brought to Liloy Integrated Health District Hospital by the operating team but the attending physician Dr. Joseph Lim declared him dead on arrival. Items present at the crime scene were One (1) unit of .45 Caliber pistol with magazine and fired cartridge case of .45 caliber pistol.

Ricky Limbaga is considered notorious and included in the gun for hire watch list of Zamboanga Del Norte PPO and involved in the series of shooting incident in Zamboanga del Norte AOR to include the killing of Nilo Dahili, Barangay Councilor of Lumogom, Godod, Zamboanga Del Norte on October 2, 2018 and the shooting of Atty. Rogelio, Dumdum at Poblacion, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte on November 11, 2018 and many others.

As this developed, PCSUPT Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9 Regional Director lauded and commended the operating police units for a job well done.

Citing the data from the Regional Operational Center of PRO9 as of November 29, 2018, a total of 57 guns for hire personalities operating in Zamboanga Peninsula were neutralized. Of the 57, 38 of them arrested while 21 of them killed in the operations. 

Motor Vehicle Traffic Accident Resulting to Homicide

SINDANGAN, Zamboanga del Norte (Dec. 1, 2018) - Vehicular traffic accident transpired along the National Highway of Brgy. Lower Inuman, Sindangan Zamboanga del Norte at about 5:00 AM of November 30, 2018.

The accident was involving two vehicles:

Vehicle 1 was one unit black and white combination Honda XRM 125 Motorcycle, driven by Leandro Pumicpic Postigo, 35 years old, male, married and a resident of Leon B. Postigo Zamboanga del Norte with back rider identified as Florendo Torres, of legal age, male, married and a resident of Leon B. Postigo Zamboanga del Norte; while

Vehicle 2 was one (1) White Mitsubishi Fuso 10 Wheeler Aluminum Wing Van, driven by Rico Empil Alvarez y, 42 years old, male, married, Filipino and a resident of Brgy. Baybay, Liloy Zamboanga del Norte.

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that Vehicle 1 was travelling from North Direction going to South Direction and upon reaching at the place of incident, accidentally bumped to Vehicle 2, loaded with estimated 1,700 cases of bottled beer, parked beside the road facing South direction and in stop engine mode due to mechanical defect.

As a result, the driver and back rider of Vehicle 2 sustained serious injuries and were brought to Sindangan District Hospital for medication but the driver Leandro pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician Dr. Marcelito Lacaya while the back rider was referred to Zamboanga Del Norte Medical Center, Dipolog City for further treatment.

Further investigation revealed that the early warning device used by the driver of Vehicle 2 was dried coconut leaves.

He motorcycle involved is now in the custody of Sindangan MPS while the wing van was still at the incident area and not able to run due to mechanical defect.

Arrest of suspect for Violation of RA 10591

SIAYAN, Zamboanga Del Norte (Dec. 1, 2018) – Siayan MPS received a phone call from Hon. Venicer Sangcaon Marinduque, Chairman of Brgy Mangilay, Siayan, Zamboanga Del Norte requesting for police assistance after they have arrested the suspect for Violation of RA 10591 On November 29, 2018 at about 9:20 PM.

Actted on the report, PNP personnel of Siayan MPS immediately responded the said report.

Investigation conducted by PNP responding team disclosed that Brgy Chairman received information that the suspect identified as Alfred Dion Ugal Dionaldo, 50 years old, married, Filipino, farmer and a resident of Barangay Mangilay, Siayan, Zamboanga Del Norte was drinking liquor at the vicinity of the above-mentioned barangay which clearly a violation of their Brgy. Ordinance (Total Liquor Ban) in respect to their religion and adopted by the said Barangay.

After receiving the said information, Brgy Chairman Marindoque together with his Tanods went to the reported place and they confronted the suspect but the suspect in arrogant manner together with his companion Micheal Ramirez Y Dagotao got angry and suspect attempted to draw a firearm from his waist that prompted the said Barangay Chairman Marindoque to grab the hands of the suspect and conducted body searched and recovered from the suspect’s possession the one unit homemade 38 revolver with four (4) live ammunition.

Immediately the said Brgy Chairman and Tanods arrested to the suspect and later turned-over to the PNP responding team. Arrested suspect is now detained Siayan MPS for proper disposition.

TAMPILISAN, Zamboanga Del Norte (Dec. 1, 2018) – The Police elements of Zamboanga Del Norte Provincial Mobile Force Company, CIDG-9 and Tampilisan MPS, Zamboanga Del Norte PPO conducted joint manhunt operation at Brgy Poblacion, Tampilisan, Zamboanga Del Norte particularly at the Municipal Building at about 8:15 PM of November 29, 2018.

Report on Vehicle Traffic Accident

LILOY, Zamboanga del Norte (Dec. 2, 2018) - Motor vehicle traffic accident transpired at Brgy Del Paz, Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte at around 2:50PM of December 1, 2018.

The accident was involving one Series Liner bearing plate number AAB 9728, bus number 553 owned by Valla Car Transit Inc., Brgy Mansilingan, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental and driven by Wilfredo Carpena Baynosa, male,married, 52 years old, driver and a resident of North Pajanokoy, Baybay, Bacolod City and one male minor identified as Glen Sagang Villacencio (Victim) , male, single, 9 years old, student and a resident in brgy Dela Paz, Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte.

Initial investigation disclosed that the Series Liner was travelling from Bacolod City going to Zamboanga City upon reaching at Brgy Dela Paz, Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte the victim suddenly cross to the pedestrian without knowing the incoming vehicle thereby and accidentally hit at the front bumper by the said incoming vehicle which resulting to incurred injuries to the different parts of his body and subsequently brought to Liloy Integrated Health District Hospital for medication but unfortunately he was pronounced DOA by the attending physician Dr. Rukmini Alip.

The aforesaid vehicle was temporarily impounded to Liloy MPS for proper disposition.

RA 9262 Violator Cuffed

SINDANAGAN, Zamboanga del Norte (Dec. 2, 2018) – The PNP personnel of Sindangan MPS, Zamboanga Del Norte in coordination to Siayan MPS Conducted manhunt operation at Sitio Libulan,Barangay Paranglumba, Siayan, Zamboanga Del Norte about 12:20AM of December 1, 2018.

The operation was led to the arrest of the suspect identified as one Ruel Aloy Maricol, 30 years old, male, single, resident of Sitio Libulan, Barangay Paranglumba, Siayan, Zamboanga Del Norte.

The suspect was arrested by virtue of WoA for violation of Sec 5 of RA 9262 issued by Presiding Judge Reymar Lacaya-RTC 9 Branch 11, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte issued on August 15, 2018 docketed in criminal case number S-5803 with bail bond recommended is fixed to sexty thousand pesos (Php60,000.00) for his provisional liberty.

Subject person was brought to Sindangan District Hospital for physical and medical examination and brought back to Sindangan MPS for arrest booking prior turn-over to the issuing court.

Wanted Man Held

RIZAL, Zamboanga del Norte (Dec. 2, 2018) - PNP personnel of Rizal MPS and PNP personnel of Bonifacio MPS conducted Joint Manhunt Operation at Purok 2, Brgy. Dimalco, Bonifacio, Misamis Occidental at about 10:25 PM of December 1, 2018.

The operation was resulted to the successful arrest of the suspect identified as one Rosalito Lumotan Ilanan, alias Dongkoy, 40 years old, married, Driver of GAMA Foods, and a resident of Purok 2, Dimalco, Bonifacio, Misamis Occidental.

He was arrested by virtue of Alias Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Acts of Lasciviousness in relation to R.A 7610, docketed under Criminal Case # 15573, with thirty-six thousand pesos (Php36,000.00) bail bond indicated, duly issued and signed by Hon Rogelio D Laquihon, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 7, Dipolog City, dated December 28, 2009.

Arrested wanted person is presently detained at Bonifacio MPS for documentation and proper disposition.

Vehicular Traffic Accident

DAPITAN CITY (Dec. 2, 2018) - Vehicular traffic accident was occurred in front of Lite Ferries Ticketing Booth of Brgy. San Vicente, Dapitan City at about 12:00 midnight of December 1, 2018.

Two (2) vehicles were involved of the said accident. Vehicle 1 described as black Pick-Up Toyota Hilux, bearing plate no. YHF505, registered under the name of Universal Fair Corp., (UFCC), driven by Engr. Heremias Tero Julpa, 42 years old, male, a resident of P-28 Aglayan, Malaybalay,Bukidnon who presented his Professional Driver License.

Said vehicle were also on board with four (4) unidentified passengers. Vehicle 2 described as gray Mitsubishi Mirage G4 GLS1, bearing plate no B1-0737, registered and driven by Francisco II Ances Nuñez, 32 years old, male, married, and a resident of 25-H Nichols Heights Guadalupe, Cebu City, who presented his Non Prof Driver’s License.

Initial investigation conducted by Dapitan CPS disclosed that both vehicles went to the said place to buy a ticket. V1, which arrived first and parked in front of the said ticketing booth.

After his companion brought the ticket, the driver of V1, drove his vehicle backward and accidentally hit the V2, which was about to parked, that causes damages at the driver’s door of V2.

Both vehicles were brought to Dapitan CPS for proper disposition. After which, both parties decided to agreed that damages are to be shouldered by V1 via insurance.

Top 9 Most Wanted Person of Sindangan MPS, Captured in Roxas, Zamboanga Del Norte

Wilson Pacho Mendez, 36 years old, married, male, and a resident of  Paranglumba, Siayan, Zamboanga del Norte. He was listed as Top 9 most wanted person in Sindangan MPS 

ROXAS, Zamboanga del Norte (Dec. 4, 2018) - A 36-year old man listed as Top 9 most wanted person of Sindangan MPS was arrested during law enforcement operation carried out by 901st Maneuver Company of RMFB9, Sindangan MPS and Roxas MPS at Barangay Lower Irasan, Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte at about 8:25 AM of December 3, 2018.

PCSUPT Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9 Regional Director identified the arrested suspect as Wilson Pacho Mendez, 36 years old, married, male, and a resident of  Paranglumba, Siayan, Zamboanga del Norte.

Suspect was arrested for the crime of “Attempted Homicide” docketed under  criminal case number 12853 with bail bond recommended to Twelve Thousand Pesos (Php 12,000.00) dated September 4, 2017 signed by Hon. Nimfa B Carreon-Padao, MCTC Presiding Judge.

Subject wanted person was arrested through intelligence driven operation in utilizing the services of an asset to assists in locating the subject who reportedly gone into hiding at Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte after knowing that a warrant of arrest was issued against him.

Subject person was brought to Sindangan District Hospital for physical and medical examination and brought back to Sindagan MPS for arrest booking prior to turn over to the issuing court. 

Hacking Incident

PIÑAN, Zamboanga del Norte (Dec. 5, 2018) - A hacking incident transpired at DPWH, District Office at Brgy. Segabe, Piñan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 12:15 PM of December 4, 2018.

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the suspect identified as Sonnie Acal Luod, 44 years old, married and a resident of Brgy. San Jose, La Libertad, Zamboanga Del Norte and a casual employee of DPWH had a heated argument.

The victim was identified as Alan Labadlabad Recamara, 46 years old, married and a resident of Brgy. Sulangon, Dapitan City also a casual employee of DPWH.

Suspect took a shovel and immediately hacked the victim in which the sharp part hit the right thigh of the victim that caused serious wound.

Suspect was arrested by responding personnel of Pinan MPS while the victim was brought to Piñan District Hospital.

Shooting Incident

SIAYAN, Zamboanga del Norte (Dec. 5, 2018) - Shooting incident transpired at Sitio Tugop, Paranglumba, Siayan, Zamboanga Del Norte at around 3:00 PM of December 4, 2018.

Initial investigation disclosed that the suspect identified as Richard Bagot Sigiding, 30 yrs old, farmer a resident of Sitio Tugop, Paranglumba, Siayan, Zamboanga Del Norte where a having a drinking spree together with the victim identified as Dionecio Simbulaan Umbac, 56 yrs old, farmer and a resident of same place and their friend identified as Jose Cabilin Binondo at the store owned by Joselito Tenido.

Moments later, Richard (the suspect) and Jose were having an argumentation wherein the victim tried to pacify.

However, a fistfight ensued between the victim and the suspect and later the suspect drew a homemade pistol from his waist and shot the victim hitting at his left chest.

The suspect then fled away while the victim was rushed to Siayan Diagnostic Center. Siayan MPS now conducting manhunt operation to arrest the suspect.

Electrocution Incident Resulted to Death

DAPITAN CITY (Dec. 6, 2018) - Electrocution incident occurred at about 9:30 AM of December 5, 2018 took place at Sitio Dap-dap, Brgy Banonong, Dapitan City, Zamboanga Del Norte.

The victim was identified Dolly Mae Recamara Ong, 29 years old, female, married and a resident of same place who was accidentally electrocuted which resulted to her death at said place.

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that at about 9:30 in the morning of same date, the victim was decorating for her aunt’s wake and upon testing the lights of such, when she was suddenly electrocuted.

Cadaver was turned over to her family and now lies at the Gamalinda Funeral Investigator on case – PO3 Nick Quimiguing with CP number 9396355137.

A female was killed in Shooting Incident

LILOY, Zamboanga del Norte (Dec.7, 2018) – A female was killed in Shooting incident transpired at Barangay San Miguel, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte at around 5:50 in the afternoon of December 6, 2018.

Acted on the report, PNP personnel of Liloy MPS proceeded to the area purposely to verify the veracity of said report.

Upon arrival thereat, it was confirmed that there was a shooting incident happened wherein the victim identified as Sally Gom-os Delos Reyes, 40 years old, female, married, and resident of barangay San Miguel, Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte. She was shot to death by unidentified suspects.

Initial Investigation conducted disclosed that around 5:40PM of same date while the victim was splitting a firewood, one motorcycle XRM color blue with white combination suddenly stop and the back rider disembarked from the motorcycle and without apparent reason shot the victim hitting her right arm and left side near her breast.

The victim was immediately brought to Liloy Integrated Health District Hospital by her neighbors for medical treatment but unfortunately declared dead on arrival (DOA) by the attending physician Dr. Rukmini Alip.

Recovered from the crime scene was one (1) pc fired cartridge case of caliber .45 pistols. PNP personnel of Liloy MPS are still conducting hot pursuit operation, while duty operation center immediately coordinated with neighboring Police Stations for possible arrest of the suspects. Motive of the incident still to be determine.

Report on Digging of Deep-well resulting to the Death

SALUG, Zamboanga del Norte (Dec. 7, 2018) – An accident on digging of deep-well that resulting to the death of one person and hospitalization of two (2) others on December 06, 2018 at about 06:30 PM, at Barangay Tapalan, Salug, Zamboanga Del Norte,

The victim identified as Alexander Ongcoy Ignacio, 46 years old, single and a resident of Barangay Poblacion, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay and hospitalization of two (2) other persons identified as one Tirso Pagaran Barsabal, 54 years old, married and a resident of Barangay Tapalan, Salug, Zamboanga Del Norte and Angelito Combista Tabanao, 55, years old, married and a resident of Dacon Homes, Ayala, Zamboanga City.

Accordingly, the incident transpired at about 02:00 o’clock in the afternoon more or less of same date particularly in the lot owned by Juanito Somoso and also identified owner of constructed deep-well.

Initial investigation conducted this office, disclosed that one Juanito Somoso was hired the three (3) persons mentioned-aboved to contract the deep-well excavation at Barangay Tapalan, Salug nearby their residence.

That estimated depth of the said constructed deep-well was about 45 meters more or less and then they hired a water pump engine which also owned by father of victim Alexander Ignacio that will be used on their excavation of the deep-well.

That considering the depth of the constructed deep-well they bring down the water pump engine inside the constructed well but while turning on the engine and minutes gone by the three persons slowly felt a hard to breath and dizziness that believed to be suffocated by the smoke of the said water pump engine.

After feeling on the hard to breathe they manage to went out but unluckily the victim Alexander Ignacio while on his way up the victim collapsed and fell down back on the deep-well which he suffered severe injuries on his head that believed to be the cause of his death.

That while the other two persons Tirso Barsabal and Angelito Tabanao (son in-law) of Juanito Somoso, were also suffered dizziness and being helped out by the populace and then immediately brought to Liloy Integrated District Hospital and which they confine of hard to breath.

While Alexander Ignacio was also brought on the same hospital but declared dead on arrival (DOA) by the attending physician due the severe head injuries he suffered. Cadaver was turn-over to the direct family for his formal interment.
