1 person firf in Suicide Incident

LILOY, Zamboanga Del Norte (Sept. 27, 2018) – One person was died in Suicide incident occurred at Brgy Goin, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 2:30 PM of September 25, 2018. The cadaver was already brought to Liloy Integrated Health District Hospital.

Investigation conducted by the responding PNP personnel disclosed that prior to the incident at about 9:00am of same date, the victim Salomon Bato Bauyan, 63 years old was sleeping at the terrace of their house together with his wife Maria Morte Bauyan, 50 years old, wherein both believed to be under the influence of liquor.

Meanwhile, at around 1:30pm of same date, his daughter Arlene Bauyan, 19 years old discovered his lifeless father hanged at the terrace of their house wherein a rope tied at the victim’s neck and believed to have committed suicide.

Further, the victim had previously attempted to commit suicide twice due to personal problem.

Cadaver of the victim was turned-over to his wife for proper disposition. Investigator is PO2 Argie M. Lihaylihay with CP no. 09365645561.

Fire Incident

BALIGUIAN, Zamboanga Del Norte (Sept. 27, 2018) - A fire incident occurred along national highway of Barangay Kauswagan, Baliguian, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 10:00AM of September 25, 2018.

personnel of Baliguian MPS together with BFP proceeded to the area to verify the veracity of the report.

Investigation conducted disclosed that a vehicle identified as Fuso Fighter wing van with plate number 092003 driven by Gilbert Mabala Quiapo, 27 years old was hired by the DepEd loaded with computer sets was accidentally on fire along national highway of said place.

According to the driver while he was travelling towards Baliguian, Zamboanga Del Norte, he noticed that the rear tire was on fire that prompted him to stop the truck and disconnect the wire in battery but it’s too late and the truck was totally razed by fire.  

Caused of fire are faulty wirings and mechanical malfunction with estimated cost of damage more or less 5 million pesos.

Serving of Warrant of Arrest

ZAMBOANGA Del Norte (Sept. 27, 2018) - Elements of Zamboanga City Police Station 2 conducted operation against wanted person at Sitio Balatingan, Barangay Lakiki, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 5:30am of September 25, 2018.

The operation intended to serve the warrant of arrest against Basir Arcillas, who has a standing warrant of arrest for Multiple Murder and Leader of MILF lost Command Group.

However, Basir Arcillas and Four other Members managed to escape upon sensing the Presence of the Police, leaving behind one of their companion identified as Jovin Bello y Delos Reyes, 30 years old, married and a resident of said place.

Confiscated from his possession was one caliber .45 pistols bearing serial no. 751928, one magazine and Three live ammunitions.

Jovin Bello y Delos Reyes is presently detained at Zamboanga City Police Station 2 for filing of appropriate charges in court.

Reported Incident - September 25, 2018

Snatching Incident

PIÑAN, Zamboanag del Norte (Sept. 26, 2018) - Snatching incident occurred at Pinan National High School, Poblacion, Pinan, Zamboanga Del Norte at around 1:15pm of September 24, 2018.

The victim was identified as Shiela Sabandal Y Coloy, 37 years old, married a resident of Brgy Poblacion South, Pinan.

Accordingly, two unidentified suspects more or less snatched her gold necklace with pendant worth (Php21, 000.00) from her neck.

Initial investigation disclosed that at around 1:15pm of September 24, 2018 the victim was at the store near Pinan National High School, Poblacion, Pinan, when two unidentified persons pretending to be a costumer approached her and suddenly snatched her necklace from her neck.

The suspects fled away riding a Suzuki Raider motorcycle color black towards the municipality of Polanco, Zamboanga Del Norte.

1 killed in Hacking Incident

KALAWIT, Zamboanga del Norte (Sept. 25, 2018) – One person was killed in Hacking incident transpired at Purok 2, Brgy Bantayan, Kalawit, Zamboanga Del Norte at around 7:00 PM of September 24, 2018 wherein the victim was identified as Reynaldo Alaña Y Mendreza, 30 years old, single, farmer and a resident of the above mentioned place.

Initial investigation disclosed that at around 7:00pm of September 24, 2018 the victim together with the suspect identified as Dionisio Mendriza Y Cutib, 63 years old, male, farmer, widower also a resident of said place were having a heated argument when suddenly the suspect hacked the victim.

The suspect using a scythe measuring 12 inches long including the wooden handle hitting directly to the neck of the victim that resulted to his instantaneous death.

After the incident the suspect voluntarily surrendered to Arnel Ablao Y Anthony and subsequently turned over to the responding PNP personnel.

Victim’s cadaver was turned over to his immediate family while suspect now detained at Kalawit MPS for proper disposition. Investigator is PO3 Jeymor De Gracia with, 09362803773.

September 21, 2018 –Reported Incident

1 killed in Shooting Incident

LILOY, Zamboanga del Norte (Sept. 25, 2018) – On perdon was killedin  Shooting incident transpired in front of the Baptist Church at Barangay Fatima, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte at around 7:30pm of September 23, 2018.

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that victim was identified as Renato Manolong y Espanola, 47 years old, male, with live-in partner, (Masyador/Kristo by occupation) and resident of barangay Fatima, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte.

Prior to the incident, while the victim was driving alone using his single motorcycle going home and upon reaching at the place of incident, unidentified suspects wearing face mask using a single motorcycle suddenly appeared and immediately shot the victim once hitting the latter at his lower right jaw (Right Mandible Area).

The victim was brought to Liloy Integrated District Hospital by the responding personnel of Liloy Emergency Response Unit (LERU) for medical treatment but was declared dead on arrival (DOA) by the attending physician.

Recovered from the crime scene: one pc empty shell of Cal .45 pistol one unit single motorcycle XRM 125, color black with no plate number attach with chassis number KPYR1015167, engine number KPYR1E015148, owned by the victim.

The motive of the incident is still unknown. However, upon verification it was found out that the victim was a drug Surrenderer and was formerly arrested by Salug MPS for violation of R.A 9165 sec. 5 and 11 last September 24, 2017 but was temporarily released after posting bail.

18 passengers injured in Motor Vehicle Traffic Accident

SERGIO OSMEÑA, Zamboanga del Norte (Sept. 25, 2018) – 18 passengers were injured in Motor vehicle traffic accident transpired along the National Highway of Sitio Talaban, Brgy. Biayon, Sergio Osmeña Sr. Zamboanga Del Norte at about 8:40 PM of September 22, 2018.

The accident was involving a Toyota Hi-ace vehicle color white bearing plate number YX 3490, driven by Ferdinand Cule Oganera, 37 years old, married, Filipino and a resident of Sta. Isabel, Dipolog City, travelling from Pagadian City bound to Dipolog City loaded with 18 passengers namely;

Rosalinda Randez, 60 years old, female, a resident of Dr. Rizal, Katipunan;

Maria Cristina Mandalunes, 40 years old, Dipolog City;

Leo Taclap, 40 years old, Brgy. Uno, Katipunan;

Upon reaching at national Highway of Sitio Talaban, Brgy. Biayon, said driver overtook to the other Toyota Hi-ace vehicle which resulted to overshoot at the curved portion of the road and turn down turtle which suffered major injuries to the passengers in their different parts of their bodies and immediately brought to Zamboanga Del Norte Medical Center and Dipolog Medical Center, Dipolog City.

The driver of the Toyota Hi ace was temporary detained at Sergio Osmeña MPS for proper disposition while the vehicle was still at the crime scene.

Farmer Arrested in Siayan, Zamboanga Del Norte for Attempted Homicide

SIAYAN, Zamboanga del Norte (Sept. 25, 2018) – The Police operatives of Siayan MPS conducted manhunt operation at Sitio Tolbong, Barangay Mangilay, Siayan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 3:00 PM of September 21, 2018.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of Melchor Gumanta y Estillero, 50 years old, married, farmer, Filipino and resident of Sitio Tolbong, Brgy Mangilay, Siayan, Zamboanga Del Norte.

The accused was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Nimfa B. Carreon Padao, Presiding Judge MCTC, Judicial Region 9, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte for the crime of Attempted Homicide docketed under Criminal Case no. 12990 with bail bond recommended twelve thousand pesos Php12, 000.00.

The said person was apprised of his constitutional rights and later was brought to Siayan Diagnostic Center for medical/physical check-up and now temporarily detained at Siayan Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.(By JONG CADION)

Reported Incident for September 17, 2018

Incident Report  

LA LIBERTAD, Zamboanga del Norte (sept. 21, 2018) -  An incident was transpired at Brgy. Singaran, La Libertad, Zamboanga Del Norte in his Barangay wherein a certain Jessa Octavio Lozada, 13 years old was accidentally fell from a Lolly Fruit (Santol) Tree and unconscious.

Immediately, PNP elements of La Libertad MPS together with the investigator immediately proceeded to the area to verify the veracity of the report and to conduct investigation of the incident.

Upon arrival responding PNP elements conducted initial investigation and interview to Crisencia Tecson Lozada, 75 years old the grandmother and guardian of the victim who revealed that her granddaughter had left at their house at about 6:00 in the morning of September 17, 2018 without her knowledge.

At about 7:00am of same date her neighbor a certain Rosemarie Perong informed the grandmother that while she pastured her cow at the grassy portion near the said tree she found the victim unconscious beside the Lolly Fruit (Santol) Tree. He was believed to be that she was fallen from the top of the said tree since she was surrounded with Lolly fruit (santol).

The victim was brought by the family to Piñan District Hospital for medical treatment but was pronounce dead on arrival by Dr. Jose A. Noriega M.D, attending Physician.  Investigator is PO3 Richard R Ponggan - 09985986771

Drug Personality Arrested in Salug, Zamboanga Del Norte

SALUG, Zamboanga Del Norte (Sept. 21, 2018) – The PNP personnel of Salug MPS in coordination with PDEA conducted law enforcement operation thru implementation of Search Warrant under Search Warrant Number 31 On September 17, 2018 at about 6:45am at Salug, Zamboanga Del Norte.

The Search Warrant was issued by Hon. Kathia C. Adasa-Santiago, Presiding Judge, 7th Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Liloy-Tampilisan, 9th Judicial Region, Liloy Zamboanga del Norte, dated September 14, 2018 against Jolito Garganian y Gañolon @ Jolly, 29 years old who was newly identified as new drug personalities of Salug MPS operating at  Brgy. Calucap, Salug, Zamboanga Del Norte.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of said person and confiscated from his possession and control: 

One unit caliber 38;

Five pieces Live Ammunition caliber 38;

Four pieces strip of aluminum foil;

Four pieces heat-sealed transparent sachet;

Three pieces small transparent sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be “shabu” which was place inside the match box and place inside the sling bag.

Suspect is now under custody of Salug MPS pending filing of appropriate charges in court while the confiscated drug evidence will be submitted at Zamboanga Del Norte Crime Laboratory for proper disposition

Stabbing Incident

SERGIO OSMEÑA, Zamboanga del Norte (Sept. 21, 2018) - Stabbing incident occurred at Brgy Sinai, Sergio Osmeña, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 9:40 PM of September 19, 2018.

 The victim identified as Richard Benting y Etom, 32 years old, a resident of said place and the suspect identified as Roel Magallanes, alias “Mamay” 23 years old and a resident of Brgy New Tangub, Sergio Osmeña.

Investigation conducted disclosed that prior to the incident, the victim together with his friend Melinio Clerigo y Cutad, 18 years old were having a drinking session at the video-k house owned by Mr. Richlee Canama while the suspect together with his two unidentified companions were also having a drinking session thereat. 

After which, the victim and his friend went home as well as the suspect and his two companions and upon reaching at the intersection of said place, heated arguments arouse between the two groups and suddenly the suspect attacked and stabbed the victim and fled to unknown direction after the incident riding his motorcycle.

Victim sustained lone stabbed wound on the lower back of his body was brought to Zamboanga Del Norte Medical Center, Dipolog city for medication. Investigator is PO3 Jonday Mansanadez Bago with CP no 09465772454.

High Value Drug Personality Arrested

DAPITAN CITY (Sept. 21, 2018) – The Drugs Enforcement Operatives of Dapitan City Police Station in coordination with PDEA conducted Joint buy-bust operation at Brgy Larayan Dapitan City at about 8:20 PM of September 19, 2018.

The operation was led to the arrest of Leonardo Catubig Catubay, 23 years old, single, pusher (Newly Identified), Watch list of Dipolog CPS (HVT), jobless, a high school level and a resident of Brgy Dicayas, Dapitan City.

Confiscated from their possession were:

One pc small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be Shabu as buybust evidence,

Four pc small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be Shabu,

Two Five Hundred Peso Bill with Serial number EG771957 and SN CL059683 as buy-bust money,

        One pc Marlboro pack cigarette and

One pc Cherry Mobile Cellular Phone.

Top 2 Most Wanted Arrested in Tampilisan, Zamboanga Del Norte

TAMPILISAN, Zamboanga del Norte (Sept. 21, 2018) – The Combined operatives of Lakewood MPS, Tampilisan MPS, CIDG and Provincial Intelligence Branch of Zamboanga Del Norte PPO conducted manhunt operation at Brgy Tubod, Tampilisan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 4:30 PM of September 19, 2018.

The operation was led to the arrest of Ronan Sumalpong Antolihaw aka Ronan Cabatingan, 38 years old, Brgy Tanod of said place and Top 2 Most Wanted Person (Municipal level of Lakewood MPS).

He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Judge Rolando L Goan of Br 21, RTC9, Judicial Region, Pagadian City for the crime of murder, with Criminal Case no. 10214-2k11, dated December 21, 2011 with no bail recommended.

Arrested wanted person was properly turned-over to Lakewood MPS for proper disposition.

Firing Incident

NAGA, Zamboanga del Norte (Sept. 21, 2018) - Indiscriminate firing incident transpired at Barangay Lapaz, Naga, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:19 PM of Sept 17, 2018 by Unidentified person.

Immediately upon receipt PNP elements of Naga MPS promptly proceeded to the reported place to verify the veracity of said report.

Further, upon reaching thereat 3 empty shell of .45 Cal pistol were recovered from the scene. Naga MPS conducted investigation to identify the suspect and for possible filling a case.

Suicide Incident

TITAY, Zamboanga del Norte (Sept. 21, 2018) - Suicide incident transpired at Purok Yellow Top, Barangay Kitabog, Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay at about 9:00 PM of September 17, 2018.

Elements of Titay MPS responded to the place of incident. Upon arrival thereat, the victim identified as Jovencio Paisano Fernandez, 61 years old, married, farmer, currently a member of senior citizen of Brgy. Kitabog and a resident of the said place.

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the victim was always left alone inside his house and suffering from visual impairment (blindness). At around 5:30 in the afternoon of the same date, a certain Encarnacion Moratalla Fernandez, 56 years old, victim’s wife, was attending their store located at Rural Bus terminal, Sanito, Ipil and decided to go home.

As she arrived, she was able to discover her husband already lifeless with stranded wire tied around his neck inside their room believed to be hanged at the wood trusses of the roof.

Further disclosed that the victim suffered emotional depression due to his visual impairment (blindness) and cannot already perform his work as a farmer to support his family needs. Cadaver now lies at their residence at Purok Yellow top, Barangay Kitabog, Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay.

Reported Incident - September 15, 2018

2 dead, 2 injured in Motor Vehicle Non-Traffic Accident

LABASON, Zamboanga del Norte (Sept. 18, 2018) – Two personswere dead while two others were seriously injured in Motor vehicle non-traffic accident transpired at Brgy La-Union, Labason, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 12:20 AM of September 15, 2018.

Immediately, PNP personnel of Labason MPS responded the said incident and upon arrival at the scene, the driver and his three back riders were immediately brought to Labason District Hospital by the responding team for immediate medication since all of them were found unconscious.

Initial Investigation conducted disclosed that  the four victims were from a Disco at La-Union Covered Court and having a drinking spree thereat and as they went home riding a single Motor Star 110MC driven by certain John Lloyd Bacog, 24 years old, male, single with three back riders namely:

Jasper Midwasa, 18 years old, male, single;

Joshua Languido, 17 years old, male, single, student; and

Hans Jefferson Languido, 18 years old, male, single, student, all residents of brgy Ubay, Labason, Zamboanga del Norte, accidentally fell over the cliff and hit directly on the concrete water irrigation on which they sustained different injuries.

Hans Jefferson was declared Dead on Arrival by the attending Physician while Joshua and John Lloyd were referred to Zamboanga Del Norte Medical Center, Dipolog City for intense treatment however Joshua did not able to reach and was declared DOA.

Jasper suffered serious injury on his leg and remained confined at Labason District Hospital. Investigator on case is PO1 Reynaldo Caboverde with contact number 09757019545.

Man Arrested in Siayan, Zamboanga Del Norte for Homicide

DAPITAN CITY (Sept. 18, 2018) - PNP personnel of Siayan MPS and Dapitan CPS conducted joint manhunt operation at Sitio Matunog, Barangay Poblacion, Siayan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 5:00 AM of September 15, 2018.

Thr oprtation was led to the arrest of Wilbert Ladiagonong y Agusto, 19, Single, Construction worker and a resident of Sitio Matunog Brgy Poblacion, Siayan.

The accused was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Presiding Judge Cherry Joy C. Concha-Ageas of RTC9, Branch 10 Dipolog City for the crime of Homicide docketed under criminal case number 22632 with bail bond recommended fixed at One Hundred Thousand Pesos (P120, 000.00).   

The accused is now detained at Siayan MPS for proper disposition.

2 Arrested in Drug Bust Operation

DIPOLOG CITY (Sept. 18, 2018) – The Operatives/City Drug Enforcement Team of Dipolog CPS in coordination with PDEA9 conducted drug buy-bust operation at Lower Banicapt, Brgy. Galas, Dipolog City particularly at Murro Boarding House at about 3:50 PM of September 16, 2018.

The operation was led to the arrest of two persons i9dentified as:

Fredie Penales y Sumili alias “Fredie Long hair”, 37 years old, single, cellphone technician and

Marilou Rollon y Namuag alias “Shy Rollon”, 29 years old, single, Bartender, and both residents of Lower Banicapt, Brgy. Galas, Dipolog City.

Confiscated from her possession were one (1) sachet medium size, two sachets small size of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of ten Thousand Pesos (₱10,000.00) and one piece Five Hundred Peso bill registered marked money.

Confiscated items were temporary deposited at Dipolog CPS prior turned-over to Provincial Crime Laboratory for laboratory examination/weighing while subject is under the custody of Dipolog CPS for filing of appropriate charges in court.

Electrocution Incident

KATIPUNAN, Zamboanga del Norte (Sept, 18, 2018) - An electrocution incident transpired at Brgy. Sinuyak, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte on or about 8:00 o’clock in the morning of September 16, 2018.

Initial Investigation conducted disclosed that victim identified as Raymund Cambic y Dimasuhid, 23 years old single, farmer, Filipino and a resident of Miatan, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte.

He was fishing with the use of improvised electrical wire measuring about 25 meter in length as his fishing device which he connected to an electrical 220 volts outlet of the house of one Uldarico Moreno y Gayawon, 42 years old, farmer and a resident of Brgy. Sinuyak, Katipunan. 

The victim was accidentally electrocuted while fishing alone using said device at the nearby creek.

When his brother, Ruel Cambic y Dimasuhid, 28 years old, single, farmer, and a resident of Brgy. Miatan, Katipunan, arrived at the vicinity of the creek; he saw his brother no longer moving under the clear shallow waters of said creek which made him realized that the same was already electrocuted.

Ruel Cambic immediately shouted for help, pulled the lifeless body of his brother to the side of the creek and tried to resuscitate him but his action was rendered futile.

The victim sustained burnt wounds on his right hand and on his left chest possibly caused by the strong electrical current which had passed through his entire body as he held the live wire of his improvised fishing device on his right hand close to his chest during the incident which caused his instantaneous death.

September 12, 2018 – Reporte Incident

killed in Shooting Incident

LEON POSTIGO, Zamboanga del Norte (Sept. 14, 2018) – One person was killed in Shooting incident transpired on 8:00pm more or less of September 11, 2018 at Barangay Tinuyop, Leon Postigo, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 8:00 PM of September 11, 2018.

The victim was already brought to Sindangan District Hospital by his relatives. He was later identified Beinvenido Fabillar Y Alvares alias “Toto”, 40 yrs. old, married and a resident of Sitio Casong, Brgy Tinuyop, Leon B Postigo.

Based on record of the hospital the victim arrived at around 9:30PM on September 11, 2018 which was brought by his relatives but was declared dead on arrival due to a gunshot wound at his abdomen and at the back portion of his body which believed to be the caused his instantaneous death. 

Initial investigation disclosed that on September 11, 2018, Barangay Tinuyop was celebrating their founding anniversary wherein various activities were being held.

According to the Brgy officials the victim was last seen alive at around 7:15 PM of September 11, 2018 walking alone towards the residence of his brother when suddenly they heard burst of gun fire.

Upon verification, they saw the victim lying down with blood on the road and was immediately brought to Sindangan District Hospital. 

Further investigation reveals that the victim was a rebel returnee sometimes in the year 2000.

Thorough investigation is now undertaken to determine the motive of the incident. Recovered from the crime scene were several fired cartridges of Cal 45.

RA 9262 Violator Arrested in Dapitan City

DAPITAN CITY (Sept. 14, 2018) – The Operatives of Dapitan City Police Station together with 904th Maritime Group conducted manhunt operation at Brgy San Vicente, Dapitan City at about 12:10 PM of September 12, 2018.

The operation was to the arrest of one Elmer Taruc Baroy, 33 years old, male, married, resident of Purok Mangga, Brgy San Vicente, Dapitan City.

He has a standing warrant of arrest charged for violation of Sec. 5(i) of RA 9262, under Criminal Case No. 22140 issued and signed by Presiding Judge Rogelio D. Laquihon, of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 7, Dipolog City dated September 5, 2018 with bail bond recommended amounting to (Php 24,000.00).

The accused now detained at Dapitan CPS for proper disposition.

Fire Incident

DAPITAN CITYY (Sept. 14, 2018) - Fire incident transpired at the residence of Joseph Calasang Cagandahan, situated at Brgy Maria Cristina, Dapitan City, Zambboanga Del Norte at around 7:25 AM of September 12, 2018.

Initial investigation conducted by Fire Officer 1 John Beta Balanay, disclosed that the fire was started at around 7:20 AM of September 12, 2018 and was declared under control/Fire-out at around 8:30AM of same date.

The cause of fire was believed came from the unattended cooking area of the dirty kitchen from the said residence which is made of light materials. Estimated amount of damaged is more or less (Php100, 000.00). No casualty/injured during the incident.

No. 2 High Value Target Drug Suspect Arrested in Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte

SIOCON, Zamboanga del Norte ( Sept. 12, 2018) – The Police Operatives of 905th Maneuver Company of RMFB9 and Siocon Police Station arrested one person during the conduct of joint anti-illegal drugs operation through buy-bust operation at Barangay Poblacion, Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte specifically inside the Office of DILG Siocon at about 6:37pm of September 9, 2018, Police Official said.

Police Regional Office 9 PIO Chief PCINSP Helen L. Galvez disclosed that prior to the arrest of the suspect, there was an information that the suspect was repacking the illegal items, selling and conducting pot session inside the DILG Office.

After the conduct of relentless month-long intelligence build up and surveillance which resulted to the dismantling of drug den and arrest of  the suspect identified as Gary Cabanit Y Yap 38 years old, male, Filipino, college graduate, Job Order (JO) in the office of the DILG, married, and a resident of Barangay Poblacion, Siocon, Galvez said.

Galvez added that the target suspect is a member of Sahibad Drug Group, he was surrendered last 2016 and is listed as High Value Target (HVT) Level 2 (municipal level) Drug Personality of Siocon.

The Buy-Bust Operation was conducted inside the DILG Office and the suspect was arrested thereat, Galvez said.

The operating team confiscated from the possession and control of Gary Cabanit Y Yap are the following items:

 piece Small size heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride  “Shabu” (Buy Bust Evidence);

One piece Medium size heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride  “Shabu”;

One piece ₱500.00 bill with serial # FY870870 (Utilized as Buy Bust Money);

Four piece red cigarette empty pack mighty;

One piece dark blue wallet containing different fake PDEA ID, different Ids and Piece of white paper with CP#;

Two pieces disposable lighter (green and red) inserted with tiny role foil;

        One piece of blade;

Three pieces rolled tin foil served as improvised “tooter ”;

Nighty Eight  ₱98.00 bill in different denominations;

One piece of scissor;

Five units of different cellular phone;

Eighteen pieces cut rolled used/burned tin foils;

One piece brown enveloped containing three thousand pesos (3000);

One-piece rectangular box containing red cut soft drinks strew;

Five pieces rolled tin foils served as an improvised “tooter”;

Two pieces bamboo stick served as improvised clipper;

One container of ball pen ink served as roller to the foil;

Four pieces empty heated sealed plastic sachet; and

One-piece regular box containing one (1) pc of needle served as a tool for cracking “shabu”

After the conduct of arrest, the suspects were informed of their constitutional rights in dialect, which they were conversant of and were brought to Siocon District Hospital for medical and physical examination. The Siocon MPS took custody of the suspects pending the filing of appropriate charges.

Suicide Incident

SERGIO OSMENA, Zamboanga del Norte (Sept. 12, 2018) - Suicide incident occurred at Purok Gemalina, Barangay Biayon, Sergio Osmeña, Zamboanga Del Norte.  The victim was identified as Jenalyn Raliao y Monding, female, 21 years old, single, Filipino, and a resident of afore-said place.

Accordingly, at about 9:00 PM of September 9, 2018, the person of Lorechor Tabat y Tumapat discovered the victim inside the room of their house located at said place kneeling facing the wall with color yellow rope tied on her neck and believed to be lifeless while hanging.

Prior to the incident, the victim and Lorechor were having heated arguments when Lorechor went home under the influence of liquor last September 9, 2018 at about 06:00 in the afternoon more or less.

Wanted Person Arrested in Dapitan City

DAPITAN CITY (Sept. 12, 2018) – The Police operatives of Dapitan City Police Station conducted manhunt operation at Brgy. Talisay, Dapitan City at about 2:05 PM of September 11, 2018.

The Arrested was Niel Clint Cardino Eldian, 17 years old, male, single and a resident of the aforesaid Barangay.

The subject person was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Presiding Judge Rogelio D Laquihon of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 7, Dipolog City for the crime of Reckless Imprudence Resulting to Homicide and Serious Physical Injuries with Criminal case number 22631, dated August 30, 2018 with bail bond recommended amounting to Forty Thousand Pesos (₱40, 000.00).

The subject minor was brought to Dapitan CPS for documentation prior to its turn-over to DSWDO.

Shooting Incident

TAMPILISAN, Zamboanga del Norte (Sewpt. 12, 2018) - Alleged shooting incident transpired inside the premises of JRMSU Barangay ZNAC, Tampilisan, Zamboanga del Norte at about 7:00 PM of September 10, 2018.

Right after the report PNP personnel of Tampilisan MPS proceeded to the reported place to verify the veracity of said report.

Upon arrival at the reported place the responding team witnessed that the crime scene was already disturbed/contaminated and the victim was already brought by the family to De Villa Hospital Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay for medical treatment.

Investigation conducted by the responding team disclosed that the victim was identified as Wilfredo Albiso Mamugay, 58 years of age, widow, resident of Barangay ZNAC, Tampilisan, Zamboang del Norte.

While driving his single motorcycle inside the premises of JRMSU at Barangay ZNAC, Tampilisan, Zamboanga del Norte with a back rider identified as Jessa Atig Camingawan, 46 years of age, widow, a resident of Barangay Poblacion, Tampilisan, Zamboanga del Norte. Upon reaching at the place of incident, an unidentified person chased them and fired once using an unknown caliber firearm hitting the victim’s  head.

After the incident, suspect fled to unknown direction. Motorcyle used by the victim was already taken by the family of the victim.

Tampilisan MPS now conducting follow up investigation for possible identification and arrest of the suspect. Investigator-on-case is PO3 Carim Billones Magallion with contact number 09352766314.
