Cadaver Found
in Polanco
On May 5, 2018 at about 6:40
AM, an unidentified cadaver found along National Highway of Brgy, Macleodes,
Polanco, Zamboanga Del Norte.
Initial investigation conducted by the
responding PNP personnel and based on post mortem examination conducted by the
Rural Health Officer, it was found out that, the victim sustained gunshot
wounds on different parts of his body.
Further, disclosed that the victim did not
possess identification cards that could lead his identity. The victim wearing
black t-shirt, black short pants and brown shoes, about 5’4” in height, fair
complexion and about 35 to 40 years old.
Accordingly, motorist from Municipality of
Sergio Osmeña informed the herein reporter at about 6:00 o’clock in the morning
of the same date when the motorist pass by bound to Dipolog City and they saw
the victim lying in supine position along the highway.
Polanco MPS still conducting follow up
investigation to identify the victim and could lead the culprit of the crime.
The found cadaver was now temporarily at the custody of the Brgy. Chairman of
Macleodes subsequently brought to D’manc Funeral Home Dipolog City.
Vehicular
Accident in Liloy
Vehicular accident occurred along National
Highway of Brgy. Comunal, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte at around 3:50 dawn of May 5, 2018. Upon arrival thereat, the report was
confirmed true by the responding team and found out that there were four (4)
vehicle involved in the said accident.
Initial investigation conducted by the
responding team disclosed that,
-Veh. 1 – a delivery Isuzu/Forward/Reefer Van
truck loaded with dress chicken, color white with Plate Nr 030107 owned by
Macario A. Acejas Jr of Guiwan, Zamboanga City and driven by a certain Jerson
Abrea Ragas, male, Filipino, married, 27 years old, holder of Non-Professional
driver’s license No. K09-16-000995 which will expire on May 26, 2021, together
with his truck man a certain Neil Maca Baldoza, male, Filipino, single, 19
years old both resident of Brgy. Aquino, Tangub City, while traversing the
National Highway of Brgy. Comunal, Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte from Zamboanga
City and upon reaching at the place of accident, the driver lost its control
and accidentally hit Three (3) Vehicles described as
-Veh. 2 - Hyundai Starex with Plate Nr 101705,
-Veh. 3 - Nissan Urban Escapade with Plate Nr
090808 and
-Veh. 4 - Nissan Urvan VX with Plate Nr HVP 542,
which were parked beside the National Highway of the aforementioned place.
The driver and the truck man sustained injuries
to the different parts of their bodies and were brought by LERU personnel to
Liloy Integrated Health District Hospital for medical treatment while both
vehicles were also incurred damages on its parts and accessories. Accident
happened at around 3:40 AM at the aforementioned place.
Hacking
Incident in Sindangan
On May 4, 2018 at about 5:00 PM, an alleged
stabbing incident transpired at Brgy. Sto. Rosario, Sindangan Zamboanga Del
Norte.
Initial investigation conducted by the duty
investigator disclosed that the victim identified as Mamerto Torlao y Uboc, 43
years old, Filipino, male, married and a resident of said place while the
suspect identified as Ronald Dinglasa y Languita, of legal age, Filipino, male,
married and a residence of Brgy. Malagandes, Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay and
temporarily residing at Sitio Guyanan, Upper Nipaan, Sindangan Zamboanga del
Norte.
It was revealed that the suspect and the victim
are having a drinking session together with one Renato Junsay y Dinoy at the house
of a certain Victor Dinoy. During in the middle of their drinking session both
the suspect and the victim had a heated argument that prompted the suspect to
pull his carried bolo from his waist and without any hesitation he then
suddenly hacked and stabbed the victim Mamerto Torlao y Uboc several times
hitting on the different parts of his body.
Then the suspect runs away towards unknown
direction. PNP responding team brought the victim to Sindangan District
Hospital but the attending physician pronounced it dead on arrival.
PNP personnel of Sindangan MPS already conducted
manhunt operation to locate and arrest of the suspect. Investigator on case PO1

Death of
Detainee in Sergio Osmiña
On May 3, 2018 at about 11:30
AM, after issuance of the Commitment Order, PNP personnel of Sergio Osmeña MPS on
board the PNP issued hi-lux.
While on their way to commit the accused to the
Provincial Jail in Sipulan, Manukan, Zamboanga Del Norte upon reaching
somewhere in Quezon Avenue near ISAIAS Top Marketing, Dipolog City, the accused
identified as Elino Tuma Gamoc wild (AMOK) while inside said patrol car
prompted the police officer driver to stop and parked the vehicle.
The two police officers properly restraining the
accused, thereat, another police officer assigned at Sibutad MPS passing by witnessed
the incident and helped restrained the suspect by transferring the handcuff to
the suspect's behind his back to prevent repetition of his violent acts and
while to be en route to Provincial Jail.
Upon arrival at the Provincial Jail of Manukan, Zamboanga
Del Norte, they noticed and discovered that the accused was unconscious and does
not response to their call. The police officers together with the jail
authorities to rushed the accused to Manukan Medicare hospital for medical
attention but the attending Physician Dr. Rodelio E. Ticzon pronounced the
accused Dead on Arrival (DOA).
Same police officers immediately reported the
incident at Manukan Municipal police Station and informed the Provincial
Prosecutors Office.
The accured was the suspect
in shooting incident at San Francisco Sergio Osmeña wherein Leomar Haylalapit
was shot to death by said above accused using homemade shotgun.
On May 4, 2018, an autopsy request was made
addressed to Zamboanga Del Norte Crime Lab at New Airport drive, Minaog,
Dipolog City and was conducted by PSUPT Uy, MD at around 11:00 AM of same date
at Gamalinda funeral Homes, Dipolog City. Investigator is PO3 Reynante Obnimaga
