Suspect Arrested in Dipolog
Operatives of Dipolog City Police
Station arrested a theft suspect at
Zamora Extension., Brgy Biasong,
Dipolog City at about 5:00 PM of June 12, 2018.
Arrested was Raymark Manlunas Y Chiong,
16 years old, single and a resident of said place. This is by virtue of Warrant
of Arrest issued by Hon. Judge Rogelio D. Laquihon – Presiding Judge of RTC
Branch 7 of Dipolog City dated May 4, 2018 for the crime of “Theft” docketed in
Criminal Case Number 22291 with recommended bail bond amounting to Two Thousand
Pesos [₱ 2,000.00].
Arrested person temporarily detained at
Dipolog CPS for proper disposition.
Murder
Suspect Arrested in Roxas
On June 12, 2018 at about 2:40 PM,
personnel of Roxas MPS conducted manhunt operation of wanted person at Barangay
Moliton Roxas, Zamboanga Del Norte.
This operation was resulted in the
arrest of Iket Guminta Gumalao, 23 years old, single and a resident of Sitio
Balubohan, barangay Situbo, Roxas, Zambo Norte.
The suspect was arrested by virtue of
Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon.Ric S. Bastasa, Presiding Judge, RTC9 Branch 9,
Dipolog City dated April 23, 2018 for the crime of Murder docketed under
Criminal Case Nr. 21981 with no bail recommended bail.
The arrested subject person is now
under the custody of Roxas MPS for proper disposition.
Hacking
Incident in Dipolog City
On June 12, 2018 at about 1:20 AM,
Hacking incident occurred at Purok Bonifacio, Punta, Dipolog City.
The victim identified as Denmark Rica
Mahinay, 23 years old, single a resident of Purok Bonifacio, Punta, Dipolog
City
The suspect was identified as John
Breck Chiong Lumanta, 32 years old, single, a resident of Purok Bonifacio,
Punta, Dipolog City.
Subject person was the suspect on a
hacking incident that transpired at said place at around 1:20 AM of the same
date.
Investigation conducted disclosed that
the suspect together with friends were inside the house of having a drinking
spree, the victim when suddenly arrived and believed to be under the influenced
of intoxicating liquor, creating trouble and was cautioned by the suspect.
The victim went their house and got a
kitchen knife, went back to the house of Roland Chiong, and continues to create
trouble. There and then suspect hacked the victim hitting on different parts of
his body and was brought by the responding Rescue 117 personnel to Zanorte Medical
Center, Dipolog City for medical attention.
Suspect was arrested by the responding
PNP personnel and now under the custody of Dipolog CPS for filing appropriate
charges in court. Investigator is PO2 Salaveria – 09105398502.
Fire
Incident in Mutia
On June 12, 2018 at about 10:00 AM, Fire
incident transpired at the house of Rosalita Lamoste Octubre, 45 years old,
female, married, Barangay health Worker,(BHW) a resident of District 2,
Barangay Newland, Mutia, Zamboanga del Norte.
Immediately, PNP personnel of Mutia MPS responded and upon initial
investigation conducted by the investigator on case PO1 Algie Mahusay Tamaprong
disclosed that at about 8:00 AM of same date the above-mentioned person left
their house and went to the water faucet purposely to take a bath.
However, at about 8:45 AM of same date
she received a cellular phone call by Carmela Palabay of legal age also
residing at their house reported that the house was burning, there and then she
immediately went home and found out that her house which was made of assorted
light materials was blaze into fire.
Also razed by fire is the adjacent
house also made of light materials owned by Renaldo Maghinay, 52 years old,
single, and a resident of same place with an estimated damage of Sixty Thousand
Pesos (Php 60,000.00). Cause of fire believes to be electrical short circuit.
Mutia MPS is still conducting thorough
investigation to determine on any foul play on said incident.
