Drug Suspect Nabbed in Dipolog City
On June 02, 2018 at about 7:00 PM, PNP Personnel
of Provincial Intelligence Branch of Zamboanga Del Norte PPO and Dipolog City
Police Station together with PDEA and RMFB9 conducted joint drug buy-bust
operation at the vicinity of Romero Drive, Brgy Turno, Dipolog City.
The successful operation resulted in
the arrest of Delia Liman Maglangit alyas “Inday”, 48 y/o, married, and a
resident of said place.
Confiscated her possession and control
were the following:
One (1) heat sealed plastic sachet
containing white crystalline granules believed to be “shabu” with estimated
street value of Five Hundred Pesos (Php 500.00 and
One (1) piece Five Hundred Peso (Php
500.00) bill bearing serial number CC206851 as buy-bust money.
Proper inventory, markings and body
search were done at ZNPDEA office, Barra, Dipolog City in the presence of the
witnesses Hon. Ramonito Barbaso Jr. - Barangay Kagawad of Turno and Mr.
Rosevelt Mondinido - Media representative.
Arrested person is now detained at
Dipolog CPS for proper disposition.
Suicide
Incident in Siayan
On June 02, 2018 at about 6:40 AM, a
suicide incident transpired at Brgy Polayo, Siayan, Zamboanga Del Norte.
The victim identified as Felixberto
Temebro Mahusay, 76 yo, married, farmer and a resident of said place.
Investigation conducted revealed that
prior to the incident, at around 7:00PM of June 1, 2018, the victim and his
wife Arcely Agusto Mahusay, 68 yo were having misunderstanding and in the
heights of their argument, the victim committed suicide by drinking a poisonous
substance (Zinc Phosphide). At about 12:05AM of June 2, 2018, his neighbor Mr
Heremias Molas heard a scream from the victim asking for help for he is having
a severe pain in his stomach but when they arrived at the victim’s house they
found the latter unconscious which was lying in the floor.
Victim was brought to Siayan RHU but
was declared DOA by the attending physician. Cadaver of the victim was
turned-over to his relatives for proper disposition. Investigator is P02
