Dead Body Found
A 48-year old woman was
found dead at her residence in Barangay El Paraiso, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte at
about 6:10 PM of September 24, 2017. The victim was identified as Marieta
Trasmonte Legarde, 48 years old, married and a resident of said place. Initial investigation
conducted disclosed that at around 5:30 PM of September 24, 2017, the husband
of the victim Mr. Alejandro Legarde arrived in his residence and when he
entered their house, he discovered his bloody wife lying on the floor,
sustained two (2) stabbed wounds on her neck believed to be stabbed by the
unidentified suspect/s and also carted away two (2) cellular phones described
as cherry mobile and telego and a cash money of more or less Php4, 000.00
pesos. Recovered from the crime scene was
one (1) scissor with blood stain believed to be the weapon used by the suspect.
Victim was brought to Liloy Integrated Health District Hospital but was
pronounced dead by the attending physician Dra.
Juvylisa S. Asentista. Personnel of Liloy MPS are still conducting
follow-up investigation for the identity and possible arrest of the suspect.
Project Double Barrel
Operatives of Salug MPS conducted
buy bust operation at Brgy. Poblacion East, Salug, Zamboanga Del Norte z
at about 9:20 PM of
September 24, 2017. This resulted in the arrest of Renato Española Manolong, of
same place. Recovered from his possession and control were: one (1) pc heat
sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules
believed to be “shabu” (buy bust); two (2) pcs heat sealed transparent plastic
sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be “shabu”; and mark
money. Arrested person is now detained at Salug MPS for filing of appropriate
charges in court.
Arrest of Wanted Person
Operatives of Salug MPS conducted
manhunt operation at Barangay Binoni, Salug, Zamboanga Del Norte
at about 11:00 PM of
September 24, 2017. This resulted in the arrest of Rosvin Gonzales Enario,
single, 20 years old and a resident of said place. This is by virtue of warrant
of arrest issued by Judge Oscar D. Tomarong, Branch 28, 9th RTC, Liloy for the
crime of statutory rape docketed under Criminal Case # l-003175, dated July 5,
2017 without bail bond recommended. Arrested wanted person is now detained at Salug
MPS for proper disposition.
