Implementation of Search Warrant For Violation Of RA 10591
A Barangay Chairman was
arrested by operatives of CIDG and Manukan MPS during the implementation of
search warrant at his residence in Barangay Don Jose Aguirre, Manukan,
Zamboanga Del Norte at about 9:30 AM of September 21, 2017. Arrested was
identified as Virgilio Usad, of legal age, married and a resident of said place. This
is by virtue of Search Warrant No. 006-2017 for violation of R.A. 10591 signed
by Jose Rene Dondoyano, Presiding Judge, RTC, Branch 6, Dipolog City. Recovered
from the house of the aforementioned subject is one (1) unit caliber 45 pistol,
norinco with serial number 301955 and expired license, and one (1) piece
magazine assembly of caliber 45 loaded with ten (10) pieces live ammunitions. Suspect
is now under the custody of CIDG-Zamboanga Del Norte.
Arrest of Wanted Person
A farmer was handcuffed by
elements of Siayan MPS following a manhunt operation at Brgy. Gunyan, Siayan,
Zamboanga Del Norte at about 8:00 AM of September 21, 2017. The accused was
identified as Rolly Sumolay Lumiling, 34, farmer and a resident of Barangay
Gunyan, Siayan. This is for the crime of Unjust Vexation in relation to R.A.7610
docketed under Criminal Case No. S-5633 issued by Hon. Reymar L. Lacaya,
Presiding Judge, RTC Branch 11, Sindangan, dated January 10, 2017 with bail
bond recommended to twenty-four thousand pesos (₱24, 000.00). Suspect was
brought to Siayan Diagnostic Center for medical and physical check-up and
subsequently brought and detained at Siayan MPS for proper disposition.
