Combined elements of Dipolog
City Police Station and PDEA conducted buy-bust operation at Purok Parpagayo,
Minaog, Dipolog City at about 8:45 PM of September 7, 2017. The operation resulted
in the arrest of Jicar Caparaso Ogoc, 33 years old and a resident of
aforementioned place. confiscated from his possession were the following: three (3) pieces heat sealed transparent
plastic sachet containing shabu, eleven (11) pieces cut rolled aluminum foil,
five hundred peso bill (₱500.00) bearing serial number snze025374 marked money,
five (5) pieces improvised disposable lighter (assorted color), one thousand
eighty pesos (₱1,080.00) in different denominations, one (1) unit cherry mobile
cellphone color white with battery but without sim, one (1) unit my phone
cellphone color black with battery and sim, ten (10) pieces of empty
transparent plastic sachets, one (1) piece scissors color blue. Arrested
suspect is detained at said police station waiting of appropriate charges in
court.
RA 9262 Violator Held
A trouble incident
transpired at Purok Verbena, Brgy. Poblacion, Tampilisan, Zamboanga Del Norte at
about 10:00 PM of September 6, 2017. The Tampilisan MPS personally witness a
male person believes to be under the intoxicating liquor holding a sharp bolo
on both hands. immediately one of the officers introduce himself and order him
to raised his both hands but the suspect refused to obey their lawful order but
instead, he continuously approached the officers and challenged them for a
fistfight. Confiscated from the possession of the suspect were two (2) bolos
(one was measured 18 inches long while the other was 31 inches long, to include
the handle). The suspect was identified as Romeo Ledda Halique, 36 years old,
married and a resident of same place. Investigation disclosed that the suspect
had a heated argument with his wife Evelyn Mabano Halique, 35 yrs. old, also of
said place that ended up in mauling incident. Victim was hit twice on her back
and was slapped on her face resulting to a several contusion. Accordingly, the
said suspect habitually abused his wife every time he got drunk. The suspect
and the victim were brought to Liloy District Hospital for medical examination
and subsequently brought to Tampilisan MPS for documentation and filing of
appropriate charges against the suspect. Arrested suspect is now detained at Tampilisan
MPS lock-up cell.
