Mauling Incident
A foreigner who sustained
injuries was lying on ground in front of R. Sia Hardware, At Poblacion,
Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 10:20 PM of September 15, 2017. The victim was identified as Semsem
Zahgar Farag Gayed, 38 years old, male, Egyptian national, single and a
resident of Asiut, Egypt and temporarily residing at Benigno Aquino, Sindangan.
Accordingly, prior to the incident the victim was inside cl market particularly
at one (1) of its video k bar and having a drinking spree there and while on
the process, the victim meet the suspect who was also drinking inside the said
video k bar then have an heated argument. When the suspect went out from the
said video k bar, the victim followed him outside and then opened the button
and zipper of the suspect worn short pants that angered the latter then again
have a heated arguments. Afterwards, the suspect together with his friend went
home but the victim followed them and upon reaching on the place of incident
situated few meters away from cl market the victim collared the suspect that
prompted the latter to box the victim hitting the victim’s mouth that resulted
him to fell down into the ground. Incident happened at about 10:15 pm of same
date. Personnel of Sindangan MPS conducted follow –up investigation and it
yielded to the identity of the suspect as Nelboy Mangag Lalag, 22 years old,
male, single and a resident of Caluan, Sindangan, however, at about 1:30 am of September
16, 2017, the suspect voluntarily surrendered to Sindangan MPS and presently
detained at said station.
Arrest of Wanted Person

MPS conducted manhunt operation at Brgy Loay, Gutalac, Zamboanga Del Norte
at about 11:30 AM of
September 16, 2017. This resulted in the arrest of Mario Sinoy Enriquez, 54
years old, married, farmer and a resident of above mentioned place. This is by
virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon Veronica C Dg Laput, Presiding Judge,
6th MCTC, Labason, Zamboanga Del Norte Dated November 12, 2015 for alarms and
scandal docketed in cc# 3720-g with bail bond recommended amounted to Php 2,000.00. Arrested person now temporarily
detained at Gutalac MPS for proper disposition.
