Ransacked Incident
SINDANGAN - Ransacked
incident transpired at Sindangan Local Government Unit (LGU) situated at the back portion of the ABC
Building, Barangay La Roche, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 7:45 AM of
April 26, 2017. Based on the investigation by Sindangan MPS, the carpentry shop
has no walls, no lights and the padlock of the hanging cabinet is made of wood
was forcibly destroyed by unidentified persons and carted away the following:
one (1) unit electric drill, one (1) unit electric jig saw, one (1) unit
electric grinder, two (2) units electric plainer (Makita) and (Hitachi) and six
(6) meters tarpaulin. The incident occurred at dawn of April 26, 2017 and
discovered at around 7:40 am of April 26, 2017. Case is still under follow-up
investigation for the possible arrest and identity of the perpetrator; investigator-on-case
is Po3 Edgar E Gutual with contact number 09195798371.
Recovery of Fragmented Grenade
DIPOLOG CITY - A
fragmentation grenade was found at the shoreline of the boulevard located at Purok
Bularan Surf, Barangay Miputak, Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 6:00
PM of April 26, 2017. The elements of Dipolog CPS together with the EOD bomb
technician Spo1 Joel Albufera responded for ocular inspection. Initial investigation
disclosed that at around 5:45 pm of the same date, Jocelyn Suminod Tabancura,
13 years old, and a resident of the above-mentioned place, while playing at the
shoreline when she accidentally step the PRB 423 fragmentation grenade. The
fragmentation grenade is under the custody of EOD for proper disposition.
Cadaver Found
DAPITAN CITY - A dead
body of a male person was discovered along the National Highway of Sitio Lucas,
Barangay Sto. Niño, Dapitan City, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 11:25 PM of
April 26, 2017. The Dapitan CPS identified the cadaver as Renante Bongcawel
Jumuad, 22 years old; single a resident of the above-mentioned place. initial
investigation disclosed that prior to the incident at about 5:00 PM of april
26, 2017 the victim was seen at the store of Crstita Nadela, located at the
same place having a drinking spree with
his friends namely; Cecelio Nadela Jr, Mario Cebal, Anastacio Yorong, Joey
Requis And Arthuro Cedeño. According to the store owner the victim shouted in
visayan dialect to quote “gahi?” to the unidentified motorist passing by. Thereafter,
the victim went home walking along the national road. then a certain Wenefredo
Bantilan Taruc, 56 years old, and a resident of same place who was awaken due
to the loud barking of dog and peeped outside his house wherein he saw the
victim being chased by two (2) unidentified male person wearing a long sleeve
shirt with a hood color red and black while other companion wearing short pants
without upper garment. Meters away, the victim stumbled down and the suspects
fled away on board motorcycle. Victim sustained four (4) stabbed wounds to the
different parts of his body and his cadaver was turned over to his father for
proper disposition. Dapitan CPS is still conducting follow-up investigation for
the possible arrest and identity of the suspects. Investigator-on-case is Po2

Arrest of Wanted
Person
SIAYAN - A 50-year old man was arrested at Barangay
Gunyan, Siayan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 5:00 PM of April 26, 2017. Police
Senior Inspector Rey Q Tolosa, Siayan Police Chief, identified the arrested man
as Pio Dalangan Antawan, 50 years old, married and a resident of
above-mentioned place. Suspect was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for
the crime of attempted homicide issued by Hon. Nimfa B. Carreon-Padao,
Presiding Judge Of MCTC 9th Judicial Region, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte docketed
under criminal case number 12642 dated July 21, 2016 with recommended bail-bond
of twelve thousand (₱12,000.00). He is temporarily detained at said police
station for proper disposition.
Arrest of Wanted Person
PIÑAN - Operatives of
Piñan MPS led by Police Senior Inspector Arcelito H Derama conducted operation
on wanted person at Barangay Bacuyong, Piñan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 7:56
PM of April 26, 2017. This led to the arrest of Darwinda Cayacay Maglangit, 37
years old, married, a resident the above-mentioned place. He was arrested by
virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of grave oral defamation issued by Hon.
Veronica C. Laput, Presiding Judge Of MCTC
Branch 01, 9th Judicial Region, Piñan, La Libertad, Zamboanga Del Norte docketed
under criminal case number p-3185 dated april 19, 2017 with recommended
bail-bond of six thousand (₱6,000.00) pesos. The arrested person is temporarily
detained at Piñan MPS for proper disposition.
