Firefight Incident
SIRAWAI - A firefight
incident between lawless elements and Civilian Advance Auxiliaries (CAAS)/CAFGUS
led by Private First Class Albert Caduyac, Special Forces and five (5) lawless
elements led by Dandi Aka “Batoto” occurred at Barangay Tapanayan, Sirawai, Zamboanga
Del Norte at about 9:25 AM of April 25, 2017. Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that the troops of CAAS/CAFGUS were conducting combat patrol at the
above-mentioned place when they spotted an armed group and a firefight ensued
between them which lasted more or less 15 minutes. The armed group withdraws
and fled to unknown direction after the group of AFP Forces arrived at the area
to back-up the CAAS. Furthermore, upon arrival of the responding PNP personnel
of Sirawai MPS and PPSC, the AFP was already conducted clearing operation of
the area of incident. The PNP personnel of Sirawai MPS and PPSC conducted
blocking force and checkpoint for possible exits of the lawless group and
coordinated to the adjacent MPS to conduct checkpoint for possible arrest of
the said armed group. No casualties from the government side or from the enemy
were being reported.
Vehicular Traffic Accident
KATIPUNAN - Vehicular
traffic accident transpired along the National Highway of Barangay Tuburan,
Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 9:10 AM of April 25, 2017, wherein v1-
tricycle Honda 125 plate nr. Temp 090103, driven by Mr. Fortunato Saura Guminta
Jr., 47 years old, married, a resident of New Tambo, Katipunan, and v2- utility
vehicle, plate number temp 090805, driven by Mr Alberto Azucenas Ocampo Jr., 38
years old, single, and a resident of Brgy Galas, Dipolog City. initial
investigation conducted disclosed that both vehicles were travelling from
direction to Roxas, wherein v1 was ahead from v2 and upon reaching at place of
accident, v1 turned left but unfortunately, v2 overtook v1 causing v2 bumped v1
hitting the handle bar resulted v1 fell down along the road causing damaged of
its parts while v2 also incurred damaged on the right side portion of the door.
V1 driver sustained minor injuries and both vehicles were impounded to Katipunan
MPS for further investigation.
Vehicular Traffic Accident
JOSE DALMAN - Vehicular
traffic accident transpired along the Provincial Road Of Poblacion, Jose
Dalman, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 1:30 PM of April 25, 2017wherein mc1 -
black Kawasaki boxer with plate no. ja 73769, driven by Felizardo Cuenca
Puyanan, 40 years old, married, resident of Lumaping, Jose Dalman, with three
(3) back rider’s namely, Eldie Domolon Dalayan, 47 years old, widow, Rodel Ocom
Dalayan, 18 years old, single of same place and Nolie Domolon Balaw, 32 years
old, single resident of Tamarok, Jose Dalman and mc2 - red Honda XRM 125b
without plate no. attached driven by Rolly Dela Cerna Olivar, 16 years, single,
resident of Lumaping, Jose Dalman. Initial investigation conducted disclosed
that mc1 travelling from the west going to the East Poblacion, Jose Dalman,
Zamboanga Del Norte, upon reaching to the place of accident particularly in the
zigzag road, mc2 who was travelling in opposite direction evaded the astray dog
swerving abruptly his motorcycle to the left side and further resulted to bump
to each other. Both drivers and the back riders sustained slight injuries and
were brought to RHU Jose Dalman while Eldie Dalayan was transferred to Zanorte
Medical Center. Both vehicles incurred damages and were impounded to Jose
Dalman MPS for proper disposition.
Fire Incident
SINDANGAN - Fire incident
transpired at La Roche, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 2:30 PM of
April 25, 2017, wherein the house owned by Nelson Gravador made of mix concrete
and light materials with GI sheets roofing was totally razed by fire. Initial
investigation conducted by the personnel of Sindangan Bureau of Fire Protection
disclosed that the owner of the said house was using firewood to cook their
food before they left the house to attend a birthday party. The fire started at
the kitchen of the said house. Incident happened at about 2:00 PM of same date
and officially declared fired out by the fire ground commander at about 4:30 PM
of same date. Estimated cost of damages amounting to four hundred thousand (P400,
000.00), without casualty/injured person noted on said occurrence.
OPERATIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
Arrest of Wanted Person
DAPITAN CITY - Operatives
of Dapitan City Police Station conducted manhunt operation at Brgy. Dawo,
Dapitan City, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 11:15 AM of April 25, 2017. This resulted
to the arrest of Gariel Clven Mandawe Saldariega, 30 years old, male, single
and a resident of Victoria Country Homes, Polanco, Zamboanga Del Norte. Subject
person was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Presiding Judge
Rogelio D. Laquihon, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Br. 7, Dipolog City for the
crime of acts of lasciviousness in relation to R.A. 7610, dated april 18, 2017
docketed under cc# 21518 with bail bond recommended amounting to thirty six
thousand pesos (Php 36,000.00). Arrested subject person is presently detained
at Dapitan CPS for proper disposition.
