Shooting Incident
SIOCON - Shooting
incident occurred at Barangay San Mateo, Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 11:00
PM of April 8, 2017. The victim was identified Jose Lapiz Antopina, 50 years
old a resident of Brgy Mateo Francisco, Siocon. He was shot by suspect
identified as Catalino Nodelic, 48 years old, married farmer and a resident of said
place, using unknown caliber of firearms. Investigation conducted and disclosed
that the victim heard two (2) gunshots fired on his house and upon verification
he saw the suspect Catalino Nodelic in front of his house together with another
unidentified male companion and was immediately left onboard on a single
motorcycle heading to unknown direction. No injured reported on the incident.
elements of Siocon MPS still conducting follow-up investigation for the
immediate arrest of the suspects motive personal grudge because the victim is
allegedly tip to the authorities on the location of the suspect’s brother who
has pending warrant of arrest.
Suicide Incident
JOSE DALMAN - A
suicide incident transpired at Sitio Tabang, Brgy. Tamil, Jose Dalman,
Zamboanga Del Norte
at about 6:45 AM of
April 9, 2017. Initial investigation disclosed that at about 6:40 of same date Bobby
Bacalso Ebanay, 50 years old, married and resident of above-mentioned place,
found hung himself with the use of a rope which was tied on his neck and unto
the branch of a mango tree that caused his untimely death. According to his
family, the possible reason for the fact that he was sued by his daughter for
an alleged rape and a case was filed by Jose Dalman MPS to the Prosecutor’s
Office in Sindangan on April 7, 2017. Post mortem examination conducted by Dr.
Ellaine Jane J. Erfe, Municipal Health Officer of Jose Dalman, disclosed that
the cause of death is cardiopulmonary arrest secondary to asphyxia secondary to
hanging. Investigator on case is Po2 Archie Lonsido Alia with CP nr
0909-498-9949. The cadaver was properly turned-over to his family for proper
disposition.

SERGIO OSMEÑA - Be
informed that at about 12:40 o’clock in the afternoon of April 6, 2017, a
cellphone call from concern citizen reported that there was a vehicular traffic
accident happened at barangay Poblacion Alto, Sergio Osmeña Sr. Zamboanga del
Norte. Immediately, PNP elements of Sergio Osmena MPS led by SPO1Jaime Hamac
proceeded to the place of occurrence to verify the veracity of the said report.
Initial investigation conducted by the responding Team disclosedthat Single
motorcycle LONCIN with plate number 6219 GD driven by PABLIO FRANCIS, 50 years
old, male, married, farmer and a resident of Brgy. Sikitan,Piñan, Zamboanga del
Norte entered the National Highway without knowing the incoming vehicle
resulted to bump the Toyota Hi-ace Van with plate number AAG8232, engine number
2KDA521139, CHASSIS NUMBERJTFJS02P900041503 registered under the name of Evangeline B Pasatiempo,a resident of Tambulig
Zamboanga del Sur driven by ROMULO MAHAWAN AMORA, 57 years old, married, male,
driver with driver’s license no.J0399027540 and a resident of brgy New
Oroquieta, Sominot, Zamboanga del Sur who was travelling from Dipolog to Zamboanga del Sur. JaymartGumawat Flores, 14 years old and a
resident of BrgyBiayonSergio Osmena, Zamboanga del Norte who was standing
beside the road was hit by the Toyota Hi-ace Van. Motorcycle driver Pablio
Francis was brought to Sergio Osmeña District Hospital and was pronounced Dead
on Arrival (DOA) by the attending physician while JaymartGumawat Flores
suffered injuries on the different parts of his body and was forwarded to
Zanorte Medical Center, Dipolog City for medication. Toyota Hi-ace Van Driver
voluntarily surrendered to Sergio Osmena MPS for filing appropriate charges in
court. Vehicles involved incurred damages were impounded for proper disposition.

on Beating Incident and arrest of Suspect
LILOY - Be informed
that at around 10:00 o’clock in the evening of April 6, 2017, one JAYPEE
VENIELES, male, of legal age, a resident of Brgy Baybay, Liloy, ZN came and
reported to Liloy MPS that at around 9:45 o’clock in the evening of same date
he was beaten by one ANN REY LOGO RUALES, male, single, 23 years olda resident
of Villa C. Sudiacal, Liloy, ZN by the use of a radio/TV antenna stick with no
apparent reason which resulted to injuries sustained from different parts of
his body. Acted immediately, team led by SPO2 Edmund Sala responded to the
place of incident at barangay Fatima, Liloy, ZN. Upon arrival, they saw the
suspect believed to be under the influence of intoxicated liquor continuously
pushing the signboard of ZEED mobile phone store situated thereat and upon
confrontation with the suspect the later challenged the police officers for a
fist fight but due to his drunkenness he was subdued and arrested. Suspect now
detained at Liloy MPS for filling of appropriate charges. For information.

that at around 4:00 o’clock in the afternoon of April 7, 2017 Dapitan CPS and
CIDG personnel led by SPO2 Noriel S Bagalanon conducted manhunt operation at
Purok Pasayan, brgy Polo, Dapitan City which resulted to the arrest of DIONE
CORDUA y MOSQUERIOLA, male, married, 63 years old, a resident of the
aforementioned place who was charged for “ATTEMPTED MURDER”, under Criminal Case
No. 21487 issued by Presiding Judge Cherry Joy Concha-Ageas of RTC, 9th
Judicial Region, Branch 10, Dipolog City dated April 3, 2017 with bail of

LABASON - Be
informed that at about 11:00 o’clock in the morning of April 8, 2017, PNP
elements of Labason MPS led by PSINSP SERGIO ROMAGUERA BIHAG, OIC conducted
buy-bust operation at BrgyLopoc, Labason ZN and successfully arrested one MANAN
JAPAAL CAINTA, 41 years old, married, fisherman and a resident of BrgyKipit,
Labason,ZN. Subject person is under HVT level 3 of said municipality.
Confiscated from his possession and control were the following, to wit: a. One
(1) pc small heat sealed transparent sachet containing white crystalline granules
believed to be shabu(Buy Bust item);b. One (1) Sling pouch containing one pc
foil and four (4) pcs heat sealed small transparent plastic sachet containing
white crystalline granules believed to be shabu; c. Buy bust money amounting to
Php500.00; d. Cash proceeds amounting to Php1,050.00.and e. One (1) pc lighter.

that at about 6:00 o’clock in the evening of April 08, 2017, personnel of Mutia
MPS and CIDG-ZDN led by SPO2 Quirino F. Suanconducted manhunt operation at BrgyNewland,
Mutia ZN and successfully arrested oneJELORD M.GASPIN, 33 years old,male,
single and a resident of said place. Subject was arrested by virtue of Warrant
of Arrest issued by Judge Cherry Joy C. Concha-Ageas of Br 10 of RTC, 9th Judicial
Region, Dipolog City dated April 04, 2017for the crime of “ILLEGAL POSSESSION
OF FIREARM AND AMMUNITIONS” docketed under Criminal Case No. 21492 with
recommended bail bond amounting to (Php12,000.00) and “VIOLATION OF SEC.261(a)
of B.P. 881 in rel. to COMELEC Res.No. 10015” docketed under Criminal CaseNo.

on Stabbing Incident
LILOY - Be informed
that at about 3:00 o’clock in the morning of April 9, 2017, Liloy MPS received
a report thru cellular phone that stabbing incident transpired at the Play
Station at Brgy Fatima, Liloy, ZN. Immediately elements of Liloy MPS led by
SPO1 Rene Boy Bendong, responded the said reportwhichresulted to the arrest
ofthe suspect which was identified as RODEL DATOY, 18 years old, male,
Filipino, single and a resident of Barangay Baybay, Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte.
Initial investigation conducted disclosed that at around 2:50 o’clock in the
morning of same date, the two (2) groups of teenagers having a separate
drinking session and further MrRodelDatoy and other unidentified person
approached and boxed GERSON M. CLAPANO, 22 years old, single and a resident of BrgyLamao,
Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte hitting on his face. Then RodelDatoy drew his swiss
knife and stabbed a certain ReymarkRetudoGutierez, 24 years old, male, Filipino
and a resident of Barangay Baybay, Liloy, ZN hitting on his right chest and was
immediately brought to Liloy Health District Hospital by the concerned citizen
for medical treatment. Confiscated from the possession of the suspect is a silver
Swiss knife as the weapon used. The suspect was informed on his constitutional
rights and the anti-torture law and wasbrought to LiloyHealth District Hospital
for medical examination and subsequently detained at Liloy MPS detention cell

BALIGUIAN
- Be informed that at about 10:00 o’clock in the morning of April 9, 2017, ENGR.
CHARLEICRUZ GABREZA y MONTINA, 40 years old, LAOO-1, married and a resident of
Sitio Macot, Barangay Poblacion, Baliguian ZN came and reported to Baliguian
MPS that on April 7, 2017 at about 4:20 o’clock in the afternoon when he was
about to fetch his wife from school, he noticed that his black and white color
combination MC Honda XRM 125 bearing Plate No. OD6905, Engine No. XRM16E021511,
Chassis No. XRM16021507, registered under the name of RANDELL J. BALUNTANGwas
lost while being parked at his residence and believed to be stolen by
unidentified suspect. Upon receipt of the report, elements of Baliguian MPS led
SPO2 Barle M Mabol immediately tapped BINs for the immediate recovery of the
stolen MC and arrest of the suspect. At about 2:10 o’clock in the afternoon of
same date,Baliguian MPS received an information that the stolen MC was spotted
while being parked at coconut kiln located at SitioDawa,
Barangay Kauswagan, Baliguian ZN, immediately the team proceeded at said
place and recovered the MC and positively identified by Engr.
CharleicruzGabreza y Montina while the suspect identified as SONNY BOY TORAYNO
fled to the hinterland of barangay Lumay, Baliguian, ZN. Recovered MC was brought
to Baliguian MPS for proper disposition while appropriate charges now being

Campaign Against Illegal Drugs and Arrest of Rank No. 4 (Municipal Level)
KATIPUNAN
- Be informed that at about 8:00 o’clock in the evening of April 9, 2017, a
drug Buy-bust operation was conducted by MAIDSOTF personnel of Katipunan MPS led
by SPO1 Fernando S. Gomolon Jr., which resulted to the arrest of one SATURN TABILIRAN y BAYBAYAN,42 years old, single,
Filipino and a resident of Bgry. Uno, Katipunan, ZN who is listed as Top No. 4
Drug personalities in Drug Watchlist of Katipunan, ZN. Subject was also
included in COPLAN KIWI. Recovered from the possession one (1) heat-sealed
plastic transparent sachet, believed to be shabu as drug buy-bust item. While
in the actual conduct of the arrest, wherein the suspect was already handcuffed
and restrained by the arresting officers, when it was about to cordon the area,
a certain RAQUEL ESTORCO, of legal age and a
resident of the same place, suddenly came, together with other unidentified
group of male persons, aggressively charged and attacked the arresting officers
employing unreasonable force that inflicted injuries on the different parts of
the body of the said police officers. That in the middle of the commotion,
Raquel Estorco forcibly get her way in and intentionally took off the cellular
phone, some plastic transparent sachet containing white crystalline granules
that were believed to be shabu and the 500-peso bill drug buy-bust money from
both pockets of the black short pants worn by the suspect. Immediately
thereafter, Raquel Estorco ran towards the back portion of the suspect’s house
and intentionally disposed the said items hiding it away from the operatives. Despite of all the effort of the arresting
officers to locate the wiped-out evidence but it leads them to no avail. Both
Saturn Tabiliran and Raquel Estorco were brought at Katipunan MPS to continue
the body search away from the imminent danger employed by citizens thereat and
Saturn Tabiliran is considered as a high value target. Both suspects were now detained at Katipunan
MPS detention cell for filing of appropriate charges in court. Buy bust
evidence were properly marked in the presence of the witnesses and the suspects
and were properly turned-over to PNP Crime Laboratory Office, Brgy Minaog,
Dipolog City for weighing and determination of the presence of dangerous drug
substance, while both suspects were also brought to said office for drug
