REPORTED INCIDENT - January 3, 2017

Vehicular Traffic Accident
GUTALAC - Vehicular accident transpired along national highway of Barangay San Isidro, Gutalac, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 7:28 AM of January 2, 2017. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that one Arcem Amado Atorres, 50-60 yrs. old, male, resident of Barangay La Libertad, Gutalac, passenger of Dindo Bus  owned by Cirelo Dumasapal, Siocon-Dipolog Liner bearing plate number JVE-835 driven by Julito Besario Gaas, 44 yrs. old, married and resident of Barangay Banigan, Gutalac, Zamboanga del Norte. The passenger victim was position at the top load of the bus and upon reaching at Barangay San Isidro accidentally snagged (nasangit) by an electric wire causing him to fall from the bus sustaining serious physical injury. Victim immediately brought to Liloy District hospital by the Ambulance of Gutalac for medical treatment. Driver of said bus is now at Gutalac MPS for proper disposition.

Fire Incident
DIPOLOG CITY - Fire incident transpired at Sitio Bolicon, Barangay Turno, Dipolog City at about 8:30 in the morning of January 2, 2017.  Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the fire started at the stock house made of light materials owned by Yu family adjacent to their warehouse at the above-mentioned place which was occupied by one Benhar Tiking y Baltazar, 36 years old, married with postal address at Barangay Balas, Labason, Zamboanga Del Norte. The fire was declared fire out at about 8:37am of same date with no reported injured during the incident. The cost of the damaged was estimated to Thirty Thousand Pesos (Php 30,000.00) more or less. The cause of conflagration is under investigation by the BFP Dipolog City.

Burglary Incident
DAPITAN CITY - The Motor Star Display Center located at Polo Dapitan City was forcibly entered by unidentified person/s. Initial investigation conducted by elements of Dapitan City Police Station led by PO3 Alnito Aya-ay – investigator that at around 8:20 AM of same date, Leslie T. Ajero, 25 yo, female, single, casher of said establishment and a resident of Mabini St., Barangay Estaka, Dipolog, City found-out that opening the said display center she discovered that the drawer/cabinet of the cashers table was open and the cashbox was on top of the table and believe that the store was robbed by unidentified person/s and carted away cash money amounting to four thousand three hundred eighty-two pesos (P4,382.00) and one (1) pay card of said establishment. Further investigation disclosed that the suspect/s gain entrance on the roof top thru a mango tree then cut one of the corrugated iron sheets and go inside passing the comfort room. Elements of Dapitan City Police Station are still conducting follow-up investigation to identify and possible arrest of the suspect/s.

Progress Report re Shooting Incident
LABASON - Be informed that at about 6:50 pm of December 31, 2016, shooting incident transpired at far flung area of Barangay Kipit, Labason allegedly four (4) unidentified men arrived at the residence of Agad family riding with their individual single motorcycle and shot them using the unidentified short FAs which then fled away after the incident to the National Highway of Brgy Kipit, Labason Zamboanga del Norte. Be informed that the victims Lito Agad that sustained one (1) gunshot wound on his abdomen was pronounced dead on arrival (DOA) by his attending physician while Marcelina Agad y Antepuesto and Jhona Agad y Antepuesto were still confined at ZANORTE Medical center. Further, at about 7:00 AM of January 1, 2017, elements of Labason MPS led by the Investigator On Case SPO2 Pepito E Palabrica went to the crime scene and conducted thorough investigation. Recovered from the crime scene were thirteen (13) fired cartridges case and two (2) slugs of caliber 45 which found at the three (3) different area around the residence of the victims. Upon interviewed with Russel Agad y Antepuesto (oldest daughter), she revealed that one of the suspects could be the father of his live-in partner since she familiarized the voice, height and the figure of one of the suspects that she saw during that night of incident. She also revealed that one day before the incident while she was staying in the house of her live-in partner at Barangay Balakan, Salug, Edwin Partoza (father of her live-in partner) got mad to Russel’s brother because her brother said on the cellphone (loud speaker is on) in bisayan vernacular to quote “BUK-AN NAKU NAG ULO IMONG BANA DIHA” on which Edwin heard on it. Thereafter, Edwin reacted and said to quote “UNSA! UNSA MAY PAG TUO NIYA MURAG LUBI NANG ULO SA AKONG ANAK SAY BUK-ON NIYA”.  She also added that Edwin Partoza got his short firearm and cleaned the gun that day and when she got home at her parents’ house at brgy Kipit on the next day, the shooting had then happened. The complainant is willing to file action against the suspects which being prepared by the investigator.

Motor Vehicle Non-Traffic Accident
SINDANGAN - Vehicular Non-Traffic Accident transpired along the National Highway of Barangay Pangalalan, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte at more or less 4:00 PM of January 2, 2017. Investigation conducted disclosed that one (1) Hyundai Grace Utility Vehicle/Passenger Van, yellow, with plate number RBW 745, driven by Alven Abog y Samson, 31 years old, male, married and a resident of Barangay Dipane, Manukan, Zamboanga del Norte, a holder of Professional Drivers License Number J01-10-002823 with 1, 2, 3 restriction code issued on April 22, 2016, with L.T.O O.R. number 846723835 with Eighteen (18) passengers accidentally met an accident due to the rear wheel of the right portion was unfastened. Initial investigation conducted by the responding Traffic Investigator  led by PO2 Dafel Pinote and Alert Team of Sindangan MPS disclosed that while the Hyundai Grace Utility Vehicle/Passenger Van driven by Alven Abog y Samson which was travelling from Sindangan (South) heading towards Dipolog City (North) and upon reaching at the place of accident particularly at the sloped and curved portion of the road, the driver losses control due to the rear wheel at the right portion was accidentally removed that resulted him to applied full brake but unfortunately, he lose control on the steering wheel resulting to zigzag in motion then swerved right and twisted side down to the road and turned into supine position. Five (5) passengers sustained injuries and were immediately brought to Sindangan District Hospital by the concerned citizen for immediate medical treatment, to wit; Oscar Pocong y Solomon, 55 years old, male, married and a resident of Brgy. Dipane, Manukan, ZN, Leahlyn Reambonanza y Abria, 21 years old, single, female, a resident of Brgy. Motibot, Sindangan, Samuel Indanao Jr. y Tura, 24 years old, single, male, a resident of Brgy. Dona Josefa, Sindangan, Rochelle Caindog y Ecas, 26 years old, single, female, a resident of Brgy. Upper Nipaan, Sindangan, and one (1) minor John Charles Caindog y Ecas, 4 years old, male and a resident of Brgy. Upper Nipaan, Sindangan, while the other passengers were unharmed including the driver and the said vehicle was incurred major damage. After a few hours, another one (1) passenger named Leomie Salenas y Bonotan, 45 years old, female, married, and a resident of Tamil, Jose Dalman, ZN reported to this office and sustained physical injury in her head. However, the Three (3) passengers (Leahlyn Reambonanza, Rochelle Caindog and Samuel Indanao Jr.) were referred to the hospital in Dipolog City by the attending physician Dr. Karylle Ann Mejorada. Subject driver was brought to Sindangan Municipal Police Station on board with PNP Marked Vehicle (Mahindra) pending filing of appropriate charges against him while the Hyundai Grace utility vehicle now still in the place of accident waiting for towing vehicle for proper disposition.

Stabbing Incident

LEON POSTIGO - Stabbing incident transpired at Barangay Delusom, Leon Postigo, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 8:00 PM of January 2, 2017, wherein one Pegie Cayacap y Danggod, 18 years old, single and a resident of said place, was stabbed by Rommel Pacquera, a resident of same barangay but he was able to evade. The said suspect also stabbed one Given Parliquez, 19 years old, single, Farmer and a resident of said place hitting on his neck with the use of a hunting knife upon pacified the suspect. Accordingly, the suspect was under the influence of intoxicating liquor and got wild at sad place.  . At about 8:40 in the evening of same date, suspect Rommel Pacquera y Manico, 20 years old, Male, single, Farmer and a resident of said place was arrested by Josie Cayacap- Barangay Tanod of said place and subsequently turned-over to the responding team. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the victim Given Parliquez and the suspect were on a drinking spree and after they were through the suspect got wild. The victim Given Parliquez was brought to the hospital for medical treatment, while the suspect temporarily detained Leon B Postigo MPS for filing of appropriate charges in court.
