Suicide Incident
TAMPILISAN - Suicide incident transpired Barangay
Lawaan, Tampilisan, Zamboanga Del Norte. The victim was identified Jenefer
Ambalong Mankilang, 43 years old, married and a resident of Barangay Lawaan,
Tampilisan, Zamboanga Del Norte. Prior to the incident the victim was confined
at Devilla Hospital, Ipil, and diagnosed with typhoid fever and she was
discharged and continues home medication. However at about 10:00 pm of December
31, 2016, the victim left their house. Family of the victim was looking for her
but nowhere to be found. At about 7:00 AM of January 01, 2017, his brother
in-law found the victim lifeless at the river stream hanging at the branches of
the tree with a nylon rope on her neck. Victim was brought to Liloy District
Hospital for post mortem examination and then turned to his family.
Hacking Incident
TAMPILISAN
- Be informed that on or about 1:45 o’clock in the morning of January 1, 2016,
a concerned citizen reported to Tamplisan MPS thru cell phone that a hacking
incident transpired at Barangay Camul, Tampilisan, ZN. Right after the report,
PNP team of Tampilisan MPS led SPO4 Jonathan T. Lagang proceeded to the
reported area to verify the veracity of the report. Upon arrival at the place
of incident the responding PNP team witnessed EUSEBIO AMANAO SILAGA, 19 years
old, single and a resident of brgy Galingon Tampilisan ZN with hack wound on
his right foot. Initial investigation conducted by the responding team
disclosed that the victim and the suspect were having a drinking session at the
house of the victim and a heated argument ensued between the two that resulted
to the said incident. Suspect identified
as BERBABE ASMAN ENCARNACION, 32 years of age, single, and a resident of Brgy.
Camul, Tampilisan, ZN was arrested by the responding PNP team while victim was
brought to Liloy District Hospital for medical treatment. Arrested person now

Cracker’s Victim
SINDANGAN
- Be informed that at about 10:00 o’clock in the morning of January 1, 2017 one
Jocel Balawing y Carvajal, 26 years old, female, with live-in partner and a
resident of Bantayan, Sindangan, ZN brought his son CHRISTOFER BALAWING GANOB,
7 years old, minor, male to Sindangan District Hospital for injury due to
firecracker locally known as Pla-Pla or a big triangle. Initial investigation
conducted by the elements of Sindangan MPS disclosed that, accordingly, while
the victim watched some person igniting some firecrackers in welcoming New Year
Celebration 2017, when suddenly one (1) firecracker locally known as Pla-Pla
failed to blow up and was seen by the victim (Christofer) there and then the
victim picked up the said firecracker and tried to kindle the tip of it and
when he noticed that the said firecracker was about to explode, the victim
tried to threw away but unfortunately, his left arm and his mouth was caught by
the blast that resulted to said injury. After medication said minor was

Cracker’s Victim
SINDANGAN
- Be informed that at about 1:15 o’clock
in the afternoon of January 1, 2017 while the PNP personnel of Sindangan MPS
continuously conducting visit at Sindangan District Hospital for possible
victims of fire crackers discovered another victim named Paustino Sabanal Mag-aso, 88 years old,
married, male and a resident of Pangalalan, Sindangan, ZN was brought by his
relatives to Sindangan District Hospital for medication that the
above-mentioned victim was accidentally blown up with one (1) firecracker
locally known as Pla-Pla triangle that resulted to minor physical injuries in
his right arm. Initial investigation conducted by the elements of Sindangan MPS
disclosed that, accordingly, while the victim igniting three (3) pieces of
Pla-Pla triangle in welcoming New Year Celebration 2017, when suddenly the
third Pla-Pla failed to blow up and suddenly picked up by the victim but
unfortunately, exploded resulting to said injury. Incident happened on or about
12:00 o’clock midnight of 31 December 2016 but the victim was later brought by
his relatives to Sindangan District Hospital at around 1:00 o’clock in the
afternoon of January 01, 2017 for medical treatment and right after the

Stabbing Incident
SERGIO
OSMEÑA - Be informed that at about 7:10 o’clock in the evening of January 1,
2017 One Mailyn Jauculan y Tumatob, 17 years old, single, female and a resident
barangay Buenavista, Sergio Osmeña Sr. Zamboanga del Norte reported to Sergio
Osmena MPS that her cousin Regiemark Tumatob y Sumalpong, 17 years old, single,
standby and also resident of same place was stabbed by certain Jerry Marikit y
Pitogo, 20 years old, single, standby and a resident of same barangay.
Immediately, PNP elements of Sergio Osmena MPS proceeded to the above-mentioned
place to verify the veracity of said report. Initial investigation conducted by
the responding PNP team disclosed that the suspect identified as one Jerry P.
Marikit was playing basketball at the basketball court of said barangay when
the victim Regiemark S. Tumatob arrived believed to be under the influence of
intoxicating liquor approached the suspect and boxed the latter which resulted
to the commotion and prompted the suspect to stab the victim once hitting at
the left portion of the body. Victim was immediately rushed to Sergio Osmeña
District Hospital and was transferred to Zamboanga del Norte Medical
Center,Dipolog City for further medication while suspect was arrested by
barangay councilor Jhonny Matulin who was present during the incident and turned-over the suspect to the barangay Tanods
namely: Eddie P. Millor, Domar J. Lagud, Romulo J. Lagud and Roger Durias, all
of legal age, married and residents of said barangay. Suspect was brought to
Sergio Osmena MPS and now detained for filing of appropriate charges in court. For

Stabbing incident
GODOD
- Be informed that on or about 7:15 o’clock in the evening of January 1, 2017
one Ronnie James A. Evardo, 23 years old, single, and a resident of Poblacion,
Godod, ZN reported to Godod MPS that a stabbing incident transpired at Sitio,
Makinarias, Bunawan, Godod ZN. wherein
the victim was already at RHU, Godod, ZN for medication. Right after the said
report, Team of Godod MPS led PI CARLITO CABRERA REQUILME-OIC proceeded to RHU,
Godod, ZN purposely to conduct Investigation relative to the said report.
Investigation conducted revealed that at around 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon
of January 1, 2017 at Sitio Makinarias, Bunawan, Godod, ZN one RODEL CASIC
ANGOON, 26 years, with live-in partner, farmer and a res of same place was
stabbed by his uncle identified as one LORENZO
ETING CASIC, 56 years old, married, farmer and a resident of same place,
hitting right lower chest of the victim using a hunting knife. According to
Lito Casic Angoon elder brother of the victim state that prior to the incident;
the victim, the suspect together with their relatives were having a drinking
spree and a heated argument ensued between the two resulted to the said
incident. After the incident suspect fled to unknown direction while victim was
brought to Godod Rural Health Unit and later transferred to Sindangan District
Hospital. Godod MPS now conducting hot pursuit operation for possible arrest of

Report on Vehicular
Accident
SIOCON
- Be informed that on or about 7:00 o’clock in the evening of January 1, 2017 a
concerned citizen informed Siocon MPS thru cell phone that a vehicular accident
transpired at National Highway of Brgy Tibangao, Siocon ZDN. Acting on said
information, immediately, alert team of Siocon MPS led by SPO4 Joseph M. Neri
together with the duty investigator responded the place of incident. Upon
reaching thereat it was found out that there were three (3) victims and were
already rushed to Siocon District Hospital by concerned citizen. Initial
investigation conducted by the responding PNP Team disclosed that a single
motorcycle (V1) Honda XRM125 colored red with plate number 1734JI driven
by Benhar Sailan Hasanol , 27 years old,
single resident Sitio Panubigan, Balagunan, Siocon ZN was travelling the
National Highway of Brgy Tibangao bound to Brgy Poblacion upon reaching on said place accidentally hit a single motorcycle (V2)Honda
155 colored red without plate number driven by Keneth Julius Erapya Jacaban, 37
years old, married, resident of Brgy. Tibangao, Siocon ZN who was travelling on
opposite direction without headlight. After a split of seconds another single
motorcycle (V3) Honda XRM125, color red with plate number 6497Jl driven by
Aljen Jalaide Ending, 20 years old, single, resident of Sition Panubigan,
Balaguan, Siocon ZDN travelling behind V1 and bump the back portion of V1. As
the result three drivers sustained injuries on different parts of their body
and were brought to Siocon District Hospital. Motorcycles involved on said
