Most Wanted Person Arrested
MUTIA, Zamboanga del Norte (Nov. 16, 2018) - The PNP personnel of Mutia MPS, Zamboanga del Norte Oroquieta CPS, Mis Occidental PPO and PNP personnel of CIDG Missamis Occidental Field Unit, conducted joint manhunt operation at Purok 3, Brgy. Senote, Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental at about 8:25 PM of November 15, 2018.
The operation was resulted to the arrest of the suspect identified as Rickel Herodias Itom alias Tata Itom, 29 years old, single, laborer, Top 8 Most Wanted Person in Mutia MPS and resident of Brgy. Alvenda, Mutia, Zamboanga Del Norte.
The accused was arreste by virtue of Warrant of Arrest in Criminal Case Nr 20063, charged for the crime of Rape in Relation to R.A. 7610 with no bail recommended issued by Hon. Rogelio D. Laquihon, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch-7, Dipolog City.
During the arrest, the subject wanted person was properly informed on the nature of the offense as well as his constitutional rights in dialect understood by him.
After which, the subject was brought to Oroquieta CPS for documentation and subsequently brought and detained at Mutia MPS for proper disposition.
Rape Suspect Arrested
DIPOLOG CITY (Nov. 16, 2018) - On November 15, 2018 at about 1:30 PM, Police operatives of Dipolog City Police Station arrested the person of Rolito Bangcal Bayhonan, 34 years old, married, construction worker and a resident of Purok Duranta, Brgy. Turno, Dipolog City.
The suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Rogelio D. Laquihon – Presiding Judge of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 7, Dipolog City dated July 26, 2018 for Rape by Sexual Assaualt (2 counts) and Qualified Rape (4 Counts), docketed under Criminal Case Numbers 22582 to 22587 with recommended bail bond in case numbers 22582 to 22583 amounting to One Hundred Twenty Thousand Pesos [₱120,000.00] each case for his temporary liberty. While the case Numbers 22584 to 22587 has no bail bond recommended.
The accused was arrested at Purok Duranta, Brgy. Turno, Dipolog City through Intel driven and now temporarily detained at Dipolog CPS for proper disposition.
Report on Hacking Incident
KALAWIT, Zamboanga del Norte (Nov. 17, 2018) - Hacking incident occurred at Daniel Maing,Kalawit, Zamboanga del Norte at about 9:35 PM of November 16, 2018.
Initial investigation disclosed that the victim was identified as certain Danny Padella Taing, 32 years old, male, Filipino, married, farmer, and a resident of Sitio Dominolog, Daniel Maing, Kalawit.
He was hacked by suspect identified as Ronie Maglad Masugbo, 30 years old, male, Filipino, married and also resident of aforementioned place.
Accordingly, prior to the incident the victim and the suspect were having a drinking spree and a heated arguments ensued between the duo resulted to the said incident.
Victim sustained hacked wounds on the head and was brought to Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Hospital for medical treatment while suspect is at large.
Kalawit MPS now conducting follow up investigation for possible arrest of the suspect.
