lHacking Incident
DALMAN, Zamboanga del Norte (Nov. 25, 2018) - Hacking incident transpired at Brgy. Sigamok, Jose Dalman, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 7:00 PM of November 24, 2018.
The victim identified as Edwin Sael Maglangit, 40 years old while the suspect identified as Roland Anding Bunu-An, 44 years old, both residents of said place.
Investigation conducted disclosed that prior to the incident, while the victim was pasturing his cow he met the suspect and have a heated argument with each other.
However, when the victim was about to return home, he was waylaid by the suspect and without any words the latter hacked the victim once hitting at the right cheek.
Victim was brought to Jose Dalman Rural Health Unit for medical treatment while the suspect was arrested by the responding team and now detained at Jose Dalman MPS for proper disposition. Motive of the incident is personal grudge.
Found Cadaver
SIBUTAD, Zamboanga del Norte (N0v. 25, 2018) - A cadaver was inside the house located at Purok 4, Sitio Canab, Brgy Marapong, Sibutad, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 2:30 PM of November 24, 2018.
Investigation conducted disclosed that the cadaver identified as Edgar Ganes Sagayan, 39 years old, a resident of Barangay La Victoria, La Libertad and a caretaker of the land owned by Dr. Telly Llorente. Post mortem examination conducted by Dr. Zacarias Tapayan Jr. disclosed that the cause of death was the two gunshot wounds on the victim’s head and believed to be happened last three days ago.
Recovered from the crime scene were two slugs believed to be of Cal .38 revolver pistol. Cadaver of the victim was turned-over to his relatives while personnel of Sibutad MPS are now conducting follow-up investigation in order to identify the motive and arrest of the suspect.
Gun for Hire Personality Arrested
SIBUCO, Zamboanga del Norte (Nov. 26, 2018) – The Operatives of 905th Maneuvering Company of RMFB9 and Phil. Army conducted Intel driven/Sting Law Enforcement Operation at Sitio Binawing, Brgy. Lintangan, Sibuco, Zamboanga Del Norte about 1:00 PM of November 25, 2018.
The operation was led to the arrest of the su8sspect identified as Enerio Caballero.
He was accused as wanted for the crime of Robbery Subject is a member of gun for hire and robbery extortion group operating in Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte.
Suicide Incident
RIZAL, Zamboanga del Norte (Nov. 26, 2018) - Suicide incident transpired at Brgy Sibaca, Rizal, Zamboanga Del Norte, wherein at around 7:30AM of November 25, 2018.
The victim identified as Bonifacio Dela Peña Castillon, 46 years old, married, farmer and a resident of aforementioned place was discovered by his 15-year old daughter hanging on the ceiling joist of their house with a rope tied on his neck.
The daughter called for help from the neighboring relatives and tried to revive the victim but was apparently lifeless.
The daughter further stated that at around 7:00 AM of same date, she still heard her father talking inside his room but the door was locked. At about 7:30AM, she heard a noise from her father’s room prompting her to look through the window and she saw her father already hanging.
As per information gathered from the relatives, the victim suffered mental illness and had a depression when his wife went abroad for work.
A cadaver of the victim was examined by Meraluna Cuento Lopina, midwifes II of Rizal Rural Health Unit and revealed that the cause of death was strangulation/asphyxiation secondary to hanging (suicidal).
Stabbing Suspect Killed in Hot Pursuit Operation
SINDANGA, Zamboanga del Norte (Nov. 25, 2018) – The PNP team of Sindangan MPS led by PSUPT Joseph R Maulad-Chief of Police conducted hot pursuit operation against the stabbing suspect at Sitio Lumbia, Brgy. Bago, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 6:40AM of November 24, 2018.
PSUPT Maulad identified the suspect as Dominador Pilapil Silvano, 48 years old after he was sighted in his house at the above mentioned place.
Despite of convincing the suspect to surrender several times, the suspect stabbed PSUPT Joseph R Maulad but luckily the latter managed to evade and prompted him to retaliate and shot the suspect while one of the other operating personnel also shot the suspect.
After the incident, the suspect was immediately brought to Sitio Lumbia, Barangay Bago, Sindangan for immediate medical attention but when the RHU of Sindangan representative arrived, suspect was declared dead.
The Zamboanga Del Norte Provincial Crime Laboratory Office (ZNPCLO) was contacted and they conducted crime scene operation and recovered from the crime scene two fired cartridge case for caliber 5.56MM. The suspect had undergone post mortem fingerprint.
The cadaver of the suspect was turned-over to his immediate family for proper disposition.
The suspect was the perpetrator of the stabbing incident that occurred at about 5:00AM of Nov 23, 2018 at Sitio Lumbia, Brgy. Bago, Sindangan wherein victim was identified as Bingbinsia Nata Bawasanta Endrina, 39 years old, female, married, live-in partner of the suspect.
The victim sustained stabbed wound in her right lower breast and hacked wound on her left shoulder.
Most Wanted Man Arrested
LABASON, Lanao del Norte (Nov. 25, 2018) – The Combined operatives of Labason MPS, Plaridel MPS and CIDG Missamis Occidental conducted manhunt operation at Brgy Lopoc, Labason, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 4:30 PM of November 24, 2018.
The Arrested suspect was identified as Glen Duhaylungsod Tacang, male, 40 years old a resident of said place, He was listed as Top 8 Most Wanted Person of Plaridel MPS, Miss Occ PPO.
The Subject was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Judge of Branch 36, 10th RTC, Calamba, Misamis Occidental dated July 20, 2017 with Criminal Case Nr 1513 for the Violation of Section 11 Article II of R.A 9165 with bail bond recommended to Php200,000.00.
Arrested wanted person was turned-over to the personnel of Plaridel MPS for proper disposition.
Fire Incident
LEON POSTIGO, Zamboanga del Norte (Nov. 27, 2018) - Fire incident occurred at Brgy. Poblacion, Leon B. Postigo, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 10:45 PM of November 26, 2018.
Upon receipt of the said information PNP personnel of Leon B. Postigo MPS left police station and proceeded to the said place of incident to verify the veracity of the report.
Upon arrival of the team to the area, they found out that there was a huge wild fire from the houses that made of light materials.
Initial investigation conducted disclosed that cause of said incident believed to be coming from storeroom made of light materials owned by Jessie Busca and it was rented by Alcher Rey Lustre, wherein he bought rice, corn, copra and charcoal.
And believed that the newly delivered charcoal was the main cause of the fire incident that resulted to the damaged of the neighboring houses. Inventory of the estimated cost of damages still on evaluation.
Top 10 Most Wanted Person in Labason, Captured
LABASON, Zamaboanga del Norte (Nov.27, 2018) - A laborer listed as the Top 10 Most Wanted Person in Labason, Zamboanga Del Norte was arrested by combined operatives of Labason Municipal Police Station, CIDG Misamis Occidental and Oroquieta City Police Station during Manhunt Operation against Most Wanted Person at Purok 1, Brgy Victoria, Oroquita City, Misamis Occidental at about 3:00 PM of November 26, 2018.
PCSUPT Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9 Regional Director identified the suspect as Jayson Salise y Burdago, male, 33 years old, married, laborer and a resident of Brgy Dansalan, Labason, Zamboanga Del Norte.
He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Acting presiding Judge of 6th MCTC, Ninth Judicial Region, Labason-Gutalac-Kalawit, Labason Zamboanga Del Norte issued on August 22, 2017 with Criminal Case Nr 3789 for the crime of Theft and bail bond recommended amounting to Twelve Thousand Pesos only (Php12,000.00) for his temporary liberty.
He is now temporarily detained at CIDG Misamis Occidental for proper disposition.
