Suspect Arrested in Dipolog City
SERGIO
OSMEÑA, Zamboanga del Norte (Nov. 2, 2018) -
PNP personnel of Sergio Osmeña MPS conducted law enforcement operation through
service of Warrant of Arrest at Brgy Don Eleno, Sergio Osmeña, Zamboanga Del
Norte at about 5:30 more or less in the morning of November 1, 2018.
The operation led to the arrest of
Julito SabaySabay y Nuñez, male, 60 years old, widow, Filipino and a resident
of Brgy Don Eleno, Sergio Osmeña, Zamboanga Del Norte.
This is by virtue warrant of arrest
issued and signed by the Presiding Judge RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 7, Dipolog City dated January 25, 2016
for the crime of Statutory Rape docketed in criminal case number 20196.
Arrested wanted person was informed of
his constitutional rights under Miranda doctrine on the dialect known to him
and subsequently brought to Sergio Osmeña Municipal Health Center for
medical/physical examination and now detained to Sergio Osmeña MPS for proper
disposition.
Accidental
Firing Incident
DAPITAN
CITY (Nov. 2, 2018) - An illegal
discharge of firearm incident occurred at Purok Lanzones, Brgy. Sulangon, Dapitan
City, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 8:30 PM of November 1, 2018.
The Dapitan City Police identified the
victim as Herbert Bezar Sagario Sr., 42, male, married, construction worker and
a resident of Purok Lanzones, Brgy. Sulangon, Dapitan City.
He was admitted at Dr. Jose Rizal
Memorial Hospital at the emergency room with a gunshot wound on his left thigh.
Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that prior to the incident, the said suspect, believed to be under
the influence of liquor gone home at around 8:00pm and took his unlicensed gun
and went outside of his house.
Moments later, his children heard a gun
burst and immediately went outside. They discover that their father had a
gunshot wound and rushed to the Dr. Jose Rizal Memorial Hospital.
The investigator conducted interview to
the suspect and his children. At first, they refused to cooperate and hesitant
to turned-over the firearm.
Later, they revealed were they hiding
the gun. Intel personnel proceeded at the house of the suspect and recovered a 1-unit
Revolver .22 magnum without serial number with 4 live ammunitions and 2 empty
shell inside the cylinder beside the flower pot.
Subject person was brought to Dr. Jose
Rizal Memorial Hospital for medical treatment and further transferred to Zamboanga
Del Norte Hospital.
Meanwhile, at around 12:50am of
November 2, 2018, the suspect was discharged from the mentioned Hospital and
was brought and detained to Dapitan CPS for proper disposition.
Shooting
Incident
GODOD,
Zamboanga del Norte (Nov. 1, 2018) - Shooting
incident transpired at Brgy Banuangan, Godod, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 7:40pm
of October 30, 2018.
The victim was identified as Lexben
Banuelos Consolacion, 35 years old, male, married, farmer, and a resident of
aforementioned place.
Initial investigation disclosed that
the victim was inside his house, when two-gun burst were heard by their
neighbor and when verified, the victim was lying on the floor bathed with
blood.
The suspects were wearing bonnets and
immediately left to unknown direction.
That the place of incident is more or
less 80 KM away from Godod MPS and there was no access road from Godod
Municipality to reach the place and the only access way to attain the area is
by travelling via provincial road of Municipality of Tampilisan, Zamboanga Del
Norte.
The Godod MPS has coordinated with the
personnel of 97th IB, Philippine Army in order to reach the area.
Murder
Suspect Captured
SIOCON,
Zamboanga del Norte (Nov. 1, 2018) - Combined
operatives of Siocon MPS and Zamboanga City Police Station 7 have arrested a
murder suspect during manhunt operation at Brgy Poblacion, Siocon, Zamboanga
Del Norte at about 5:20pm of October 31, 2018.
Arrested was identified as Sonny
Cavallero Nersa AKA “Baludoy”, 52 years old, and a resident of Brgy J.P.
Brillantes, Siocon. He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by
Judge of RTC, of Branch 16, 9th Judicial Region, Zamboanga City, dated December
28, 2015 for the crime of “Murder” docketed under criminal case no. 29234, with
No Bail recommended.
Arrested wanted person is now detained
at Siocon MPS for proper disposition.
