Painter Arrested in Dipolog City Drugs Operation
DIPOLOG CITY (Nov. 19, 2018) – The Drugs Enforcement Unit of Zamboanga Del Norte PPO together with the PDEA personnel conducted illegal drug buy bust operation at Purok Pinya, Brgy Dicayas, Dipolog City at about 7:45 PM of November 18, 2018.
The operating team arrested the suspect identified as Clyde Maribao y Odoy aka Plong-Plong, Male, Filipino, Single, 35 years old, painter/mason, resident of Barangay Dicayas, Dipolog City and included in Drug Watch list – Surrendered in Oplan Double Barrel last July 9, 2016.
Confiscated from his possession were the following: Two pcs small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be “Shabu”; Three pcs big heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be “Shabu” and Two pcs Five Hundred Peso Bill (Buy Bust Money).
Arrested suspect is now detained at Dipolog CPS while the confiscated/seized items were brought to Provincial Crime Laboratory for proper disposition.
Suicide Incident
DAPITAN CITY (Nov. 19, 2018) – Suicide Incident transpired at Sitio Maasin, Brgy. Talisay, Dapitan City, Zamboanga Del Norte at around 6:30 AM of November 17, 2018.
The victim was identified as Ruel Icasiam Ortiz, 28 yrs. old, male, single, and a resident of aforementioned place.
Initial investigation disclosed that at around 6:30AM of November 17, 2018 the victim was seen by his father hanging inside his room with a rope tide on around his neck.
Further investigation conducted by Dr. Rolito Cataluña disclosed that the cause of death is Asphyxia.
Motive of the incident is believed to be depression. Cadaver was turned-over to his family for proper disposition.
3 person were wounded in Hacking Incident
DAPITAN CITY (Nov. 19, 2018) – Three person were wounded in Hacking incident occurred at Brgy Larayan, Dapitan City at about 7:30 AM of November 18, 2018.
The suspect was identified as Rico Parcotilo Tampipi, 42, while the victims identified as Mela Tampipi Anogot, (elder sister of the suspect), 48 yo and Danny Aramento Lijas, 39, all residents of said place.
Investigation conducted disclosed that while Mela Tampipi Anogot was at the house of Jhonamie Dosmion Chavez, the suspect arrived armed with bolo and without any apparent reason hacked the victim but fortunately, the latter managed to evade and ran inside the house.
Their neighbor identified as Danny Aramento Lijas who happened to saw the incident, intervened to pacify but he was also hacked by the suspect. They then scuffled and later recovered the bolo.
As a result, the suspect sustained wounds at the right side of his head, incise wounds on his neck and stabbed wound on his belly while Danny Lijas sustained lone hacked wound on his head.
Both suspect and the victim were brought to Jose Rizal Memorial Hospital, Dapitan City for medical treatment. Motive of the incident is personal grudge.
1 person wounded in Shooting Incident
SINDANGAN, Zamboanga del Norte (Nov. 18, 2018) – One person was wounded in Shooting incident occurred at Jollibee Sindangan Branch, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 5:00 AM of November 18, 2018.
The suspect was identified as Delbert Nacua Limbaga, 31, duty security guard of Jollibee Sindangan Branch and a resident of Upper Inuman, Sindangan while the victim was identified as Junrey Villagracia Impap, 40, and a resident of Brgy Disud, Sindangan.
Investigation revealed that at about 5:00AM of same date, the security guard was rendering duty at the perimeter of Jollibee when the victim arrived and said to him “Pahulma ko sa imung armas kay naa koy upsilon.”
This prompted the security guard to answer “Dili pwede kay bawal sa amua magpahulam ug armas”. Then the victim walked away after saying “Pabutha na imung armas”.
After few minutes, the victim came back and threw a stone to the suspect then ran away. Not contented, the victim returned armed with one pc. 2x2 wood and subsequently chased the guard until they reached at the back portion (drive thru) of the store that prompted the suspect to fire a warning shot but the victim continued chasing him until he fired upon the victim to neutralize the latter hitting at the right leg.
After which the incident, the victim was brought to Sindangan District Hospital for medication while the suspect voluntary surrendered to the personnel of Sindangan MPS and also turned-over his issued Cal .38 revolver with two empty shell and three live ammos.
Report on Found Dead Body
POLANCO, Zamboanga del Norte (Nov. 20, 2018) - A dead body was found at Purok Happy Valley, Barangay Sianib, Polanco, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 7:20 AM of November 19, 2018.
Acted on the report, PNP team of Polanco MPS responded to the reported place of incident together with the personnel of Rural Health Unit headed by Dr. Juliana M. Uy-Municipal Health Officer.
Initial investigation conducted revealed that the dead body was a 56 years old female married and with postal address of Brgy. Galas, Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte.
The victim was lying in supine position at the grassy area with lowered underwear (panty) and sustained injuries on the different parts of her body.
The elements of Zamboanga Del Norte Provincial Crime Laboratory conducted SOCO and process the crime scene.
The PNP personnel of Polanco MPS still conducting investigation to determine the cause of death of the said victim.
