DIPOLOG CITY (Nov. 9, 2018) - On November 9, 2018 at around 2:00 AM, The Barangay Officials of Barangay Galas, Dipolog City brought the person Cristian Monteza Cantorias, 21 years old, single and a resident of Purok Baybay, Galas, Dipolog City to the Dipolog City Police Station.
The suspect who was allegedly one of the seven others unidentified suspects of mauling incident that transpired at around 1:30AM of same date near at Julies Bakeshop Establishment, Galas National Highway, Dipolog City.
The victim identified as Rexton Paul Guadez Mertalla, 21 years old, single and a resident of Purok Parpagayo, Olingan, Dipolog City.
According to the victim, his green Sky Go motorcycle was also destroyed by the suspects.
The victim sustained injuries on different parts of his body and was advised to proceed to Zamboanga Del Norte Medical Hospital, Brgy Sicayab, Dipolog City for proper medical treatment.
Said suspect is now detained at Dipolog City Police Station for proper disposition and pending filing of criminal charges in court.
