November 11-13, 2018 Reported Incident in Zamboanga del Norte

Shooting Incident
SINDANGAN, Zamboanga del Norte (Nov. 12, 2018) - Shooting incident transpired at Barangay Poblacion, Sindangan Zamboanga Del Norte at about 8:05 AM of November 11, 2018 particularly inside the residence of Atty. Rogelio M Dumdum.

PSUPT Joseph Maulad, Sindangan Police Chief identified the victim as Atty. Rogelio Dumdum y Manapil, 64 years old, male, married and a resident of Barangay Poblacion, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte. He was already brought to Sindangan District Hospital by his neighbors when the responding police arrived.

The responding personnel together with the investigator immediately cordoned the crime scene and requested a SOCO Team.

According to the victim’s neighbor identified as certain Bertchan there were three unidentified motor riding suspects riding an XRM motorcycle, color black and white combination, with no plate number attached, wearing jackets and face mask suddenly stopped along the highway near the house of the victim coming from east direction, then the two back riders alighted therefrom and proceeded to the victim’s house.

After a while he (the witness) heard three gunshot blast and the two unidentified perpetrators hurriedly rode back to the said motorcycle and speedily fled towards south direction.

Further, the victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds in the different parts of his body according to the attending physician Dr. Narcisa Cabillo then referred to Zamboanga Del Norte Medical Center for further medication.

Recovered from the crime scene were two fired cartridge of caliber .45.
According to his wife, the victim was handling clients with sensitive cases.

Pursuit operation is now conducted by the PNP personnel of Sindangan MPS to locate and identify the possible suspects in coordination with the neighboring police station and friendly forces operating in the area of responsibility.

Top 10 Most Wanted Person in Initao MPS, Misamis Oriental, Captured in Dipolog City.
DIPOLOG CITY (Nov. 11, 2018) - On November 10, 2018 at about 7:20 AM, Operatives of Dipolog City Police Station and Initao MPS, Misamis Oriental PPO served the Warrant of Arrest against Jun Clyde Elopre Dagpin, 30 years old, married, a lending collector and a resident of Burgos, Dapitan City.

The Accused is an employee of Yzah Lending located at Ramos Village, Sta. Filomena, Dipolog City.

He was arrested at Ilaya Compac intercepted at the checkpoint by virtue of Alias Warrant of Arrest dated April 29, 2013 for “Acts Of Lasciviousness” issued by Hon. Marissa P. Estabaya – Presiding Judge of RTC 10 Branch 44, Initao, Misamis Oriental docketed under Criminal Case Number 2013-2290 with recommended bail bond amounting to One Hundred Twenty Thousand Pesos [₱120,000.00] for his temporary liberty.

Said person was Top 10 in the list of Most Wanted Person in Initao MPS, Misamis Oriental.

Arrest of Top 9 Most Wanted Person
DALMAN, Zamboanga del Norte (Nov. 13, 2018) - Police operatives of Jose Dalman Municipal Police Station conducted manhunt operation at Brgy. Tamarok, Jose Dalman, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 6:00AM of November 12, 2018.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of Elino Gundola Tagat, 43 years old, male, married, a resident of Brgy. Tamarok, Jose Dalman, Zamboanga Del Norte, the Top 9 Most Wanted Person, Municipal Level of Jose Dalman.

The operating team arrested the suspect by virtue of Warrant of Arrest duly signed by Presiding Judge of MCTC, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte dated October 19, 2018 for the crime of “Qualified Trespass to Dwelling” and “Serious Resistance” docketed in criminal cases numbers 12439-40 for “Service of Sentence” and for the crime of “Attempted Homicide In Relation to RA 7610” duly issued by presiding judge of RTC, 9TH Judicial Region, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte dated November 25, 2016 docketed in in Criminal Case No. S-5452 with Bail Bond recommended is fixed to Twenty-four thousand pesos (Php24,000.00).

Arrested person is now temporarily detained at Jose Dalman MPS for proper disposition.

Report On Found Unidentified Cadaver
SIBUTAD, Zamboanga del Norte (Nov. 12, 2018) - On November 11, 2018 at about 3:00 PM, the person of Justo T. Ontolan found a skeleton of unidentified cadaver at boundary of Purok 1, Barangay Minlasag of Sibutad, Zamboanga Del Norte and Barangay Nasipang, Rizal, Zamboanga del Norte at about 3:00PM of November 11, 2018, while looking of sappo tree for making a Christmas tree.

Upon receipt, PNP of Sibutad MPS, immediately in coordinate with the health and LGU of Sibutad MPS proceeded to said place to verify the veracity of said report.

Upon arrival thereat, a skeleton of unidentified cadaver was seen by the responding team lying in the ground with a mat of coconut leaves near the coconut tree.

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that, the skeleton of unidentified cadaver was wearing a yellow sweatshirt with markings of motor trade and a camouflage short.

Recovered in his position are the following, cellular phone with sonny Ericson in brand, wrist watch with a brand of Seiko Diver, and small battle containing paper inside with Latin dialect.

Upon thorough investigation the said skeleton cadaver was identified as a certain “Totong” Ronquillo, male, married with estimated age 38 to 45 years old, gold digger and a resident somewhere in Pagadian City.

Based on the testimony of his co-workers said person was missing almost 4 to 5 months and allegedly had mental deficiency.

Immediately Sibutad MPS coordinated with the PNP Crime Laboratory for an autopsy examination.

The found skeleton cadaver was now at Barangay Hall of Barangay Minlasag, Sibutad, Zamboanga Del Norte waiting for an autopsy by the SOCO Team to determine the cause of his death.
