Wanted Person Arretsed in Sirawai, Zamboanga Del Norte
SIRwAI ZaNorte (Aug. 3, 2018) – The PNP elements of Sirawai Police Station led by its Chief of
Police, Inspector Arnel M Neri have arrested a 61-year old fisherman at Brgy.
Sirawai Proper, Sirawai, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 9:00 AM of August 2, 2018.
The suspect was identified as Oton Asan
Saul, 61, married, fisherman and a resident of above-mentioned place.
The accusaed was arrested by virtue of
Warrant of Arrest (WOA) with Criminal Case #388, #389, #390 for Malversation of
Public Funds with posted bail ₱40,000, ₱20,000 and ₱40, 000 respectively and Criminal
Case #391 for Malversation thru Falsification of Public/Official Document with
posted bail ₱20,000. All WOA was issued by Presiding Judge Laarni N Dajao of
RTC Branch 27, Ninth Judicial Region, Siocon Zamboanga Del Norte dated February
22, 2018.
Arrested wanted person was brought to the
said police station for proper disposition.
Indiscriminate Firing Incident and Arrest of Suspect
DIPOLOG CITY (Aug. 3, 2018) - An unidentified person reportedly fired a firearm at Full Tank
Sports Bar located at Shell Turno, Dipolog City at around 12:30 AM of August 2, 2018.
Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that at around 12:30 AM of August 2, 2018, unidentified male person
fired his unknown caliber of firearms twice at the above-mentioned place. A police officer assigned at Katipunan
Municipal Police Station together with a 47-year old retired police officer who
was at the area during the incident to respond and tried to hold the suspect. But
the suspect struggled from the hand of the police officer and fled to unknown
direction.
Recovered from the crime one pc. Fired
cartridge believed to be of .45 caliber pistol at the grassy area in front of
Shell Gasoline Station, located at Turno, Dipolog City.
Meanwhile, at around 3:00 AM of August
2, 2018, Dipolog CPS Hotline received a cellular phone call from concern
citizen that while he was at his house located at Purok Morning Star, Brgy.
Olingan, Dipolog City, he heard a group of people talking about the incident at
Full Tank, Shell Turno, Dipolog City. He verifies the said group of persons
talking in front Tolfix Motor parts and Repair Shop located near his house and
informed Dipolog CPS.
Immediately, the responding police
officers went at above-mentioned place and conducted follow-up operation. Upon
arrival thereat, the concern citizen pointed the responding police officers the
person who talked that he fired his firearms at Full Tank Sports Bar located at
Shell Turno, Dipolog City.
Immediately, one of the responding
police officer conducted body search to male person pointed by concern citizen.
Recovered from the possession of the suspect identified as Rañus Caictin Sanoy,
20 years old, single and a resident of Poblacion, Manukan, Zamboanga del Norte.
One unit .45 caliber pistol with serial no. 62537 inserted with magazine loaded
with five live ammunition placed on his waistline and one magazine loaded with
seven live ammunitions placed inside the right pocket of the worn maong long
pants of the suspect colored blue.
The suspect was brought at Dipolog City
Police Station and is now temporarily detained thereat pending filing
appropriate charges in court while the recovered one unit .45 caliber pistol
with serial no. 62537 inserted with magazine loaded with five live ammunition
and one magazine loaded with seven live ammunitions were deposited at the said
police office for court exhibits.
Theft Incident and Arrest of Suspect
KATIPUNAN, ZaNorte (Aug. 3, 2018) - Operatives of Katipunan MPS have arrested a 31-year old man
for allegedly harvesting a coconut without the consent of the owner at Brgy.
Matam, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 2:00 PM of August 2, 2018.
Policee identified the suspect as
Renato Gumial Pata, 31 years old and a resident of above-mentioned place.
Accordingly, the suspect allegedly
climbed and harvested planted
coconut tree in the common land of Nilo Taclap Reinante, 58 years old, a
resident of Barangay Dos, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte, without the owner
knowledge and consent.
The suspect allegedly starts climbing
and harvesting the coconut at around 8:00 AM of July 31, 2018 and just stopped
at around 10:00 AM of August 2, 2018.
The owner of the land just ignored the
act of Renato Gumial but thinking that it was so abusive that it takes three
days to harvest those coconut fruit even without his consent.
The owner reportedly calls the
attention of the Barangay Tanod but they then cannot stop Renato Gumial due to
the fact that the said person is known to have bad image in their community.
Furthermore, the owner estimated that more
or less 50 coconut trees were climbed and harvested by the suspect. The
estimated cost of Php10,000.00 pesos. Subject person is now temporary detained
at Katipunan MPS for proper filling of charges.
Robbery and Arson
SIOCON, Zamboanga Del Norte (Aug. 3, 2018) - On August 1, 2018 at about 11:00 PM, A
smoke was reportedly coming inside the Child Development Center located at
Brgy. Poblacion, Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte wherein a group unidentified
person were seen loitering and destroying the schools property.
Immediately, PNP personnel of Siocon
MPS responded on said incident and caught in the act the unidentified
perpetrators and arrested one of the suspect identified as Basser Sangkula
Bangon, 15 years, single, resident of Brgy Bucana, Siocon.
Recovered from the possession of the
suspect were the soap and scissors owned by the school.
The room of the school covered with
smoke and a mound of school supplies was still burning when the responding team
arrive and able to control it.
The other companions were Alwalid
laudin Y Amuali, 13 years old, and Benjamin Ummal Y Punding alias
"Saddam", 15 years old both residents of Brgy. Bucana,Siocon,
Zamboanga Del Norte.
The case was referred to MSWD of Siocon

Rape Suspect Arrested in Siocon
SIOCON, ZaNorte (Aug. 3, 2018) - A 34-year old fisherman was arrested by operatives of Siocon
Police Station after he was accused of molesting and sexually abusing his
12-year old daughter Grade 7 Pupil inside their house at Brgy. D. Riconalla,
Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 1:00 PM of July 31, 2018.
Siocon Police identified the suspect as
Maysar Ellih y Bangon, 34 years of age, fisherman and father of the victim. The
Suspect was then informed of his constitutional rights (Miranda Doctrine) and
Anti Torture Warning in Visayan dialect.
The arrested person was brought to
Siocon District Hospital for Medical Examination and then he was brought to
Siocon MPS for filing of charges in court. PO3 Ma Kerima S Tambag with
