Wanted person arrested in Sirawai, ZaNorte

SERAWAI, Zamboanga del Norte (Aug.14, 2018) – The Operatives of 905th Mobile Company of RMFB9, Zamboanga Del Norte Provincial Mobile Force Company and Sirawai MPS conducted Joint Law Enforcement Operation implemented Manhunt Charlie by serving Warrant of Arrest at Brgy. Doña Cecilia, Sirawai, Zamboanga De Norte at about 10:0am of August 09, 2018 targeted “Ahi Taladji”,

The relentless operation was resulted to successful arrest of wanted person identified as Ahi Taladji Y Kamalundi, 66 years old, male, retired CAFGU, married, a resident of Brgy. Doña Cecilia, Sirawai, Zamboanga Del Norte. He was arrested by virtue of a standing warrant of arrest for the crime of Attempted Homicide docketed under Criminal Case no. 3505, issued by Hon. Jerry B. Patcho, Presiding Judge of 4th MCTC, 9th Judicial Region, Siocon, ZDN, with Bail recommended fixed in the amount of twelve thousand pesos (₱12,000.00) dated July 16, 2018.

The suspect was duly informed of his constitutional rights and immediately he was brought to Municipal Health Center for Medical Examination. The Sirawai MPS took custody to the suspect for disposition of case.

Man Held for Molesting Teen

KATIPUNAN, ZambOang d3el Norte (Aug.14, 2018) – The PNP elements of Katipunan MPS and Barangay Officials of Barangay Uno, Katipunan have arrested a 31-year old man for sexually molesting a 17-year old teen at her residence in Brgy. Uno, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 5:05 AM on August 12, 2018.

The suspect was identified as Eric Gumalal, male, 31 years old, married and a resident of said place.

Investigation showed that said suspect discreetly entered the victim’s bedroom wherein she was awakened with her touched the private parts of the body, grabbed her arm tightly by said suspect prompting her to swiftly report said incident.

The Suspect was temporary detained in Katipunan MPS and a complaint for acts of lasciviousness was then filed against him.

Hacking Incident

RIZAL, Zamboanga del Norte (Aug.14, 2018) - Hacking incident occurred at Brgy. Tolon, Rizal, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 3:45PM of August 12, 2018.

Rizal MPS identified the victims as Glenbert Bangquiao Y Etoc, 22 years old, single, jobless and his father Vernadito Bangquiao Y Etoc, 42 years old, married, Barangay Tanod, both residents of Brgy. Tolon, Rizal, Zamboanga Del Norte.

They were hacked by suspect identified as Robert Gumias y Tactacon, 50 years old, married, sari-sari store owner, also resident of said place.

Initial investigation conducted by the responding PNP elements disclosed that the victim Glenbert Bangquiao went to the store of Robert Gumias to buy cigarettes and thereafter without sufficient reason, Glenbert Bangquiao was suddenly boxed by the suspect hitting his jaw which prompted the victim to retaliate. But the suspect went inside his house and took a bolo and hacked the victim hitting the victim’s left elbow and left side of his body and after which the suspect then went inside his house. 

The father of Glenbert Bangquiao identified as Vernadito Bangquiao, preceded to the house of the suspect but he was also hacked by the suspect hitting his left hand. Glenbert Bangquaio then hurled stones to the house of suspect hitting the television, refrigerator and motorcycle of the suspect. Glenbert Bangquiao sustained hacked wounds on his left elbow and left side of his body while Vernadito Bangquiao sustained hacked wounds on his left hand. 

Wounded victims were brought to Dr. Jose Rizal Memorial Hospital, Dapitan City for medical treatment.

Suspect Robert Gumias was arrested by the responding PNP elements and was brought to Rizal MPS for proper disposition and one (1) bolo measuring twenty inches including the wooden handle was deposited for court exhibit. Case for Frustrated Homicide against suspect is being prepared for filing in court.

Woman Arrested in Manukan, Zamboanga Del Norte for Libel

MANUKAN, Zamboanga del Norte (Aug.14, 2018) – The Operatives of Manukan MPS arrested a female suspect who was wanted for the crime of libel at Wangi Street Brgy. Poblacion, Manukan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 9:00 PM of August 12, 2018.

Arrested was Jezeil Villarin y Amante aka “Jingjing” female, married, 31 years old and resident of said place. Suspect was arrested for Libel, with bail amounting to thirty thousand pesos (₱30,000) for her temporary liberty with Criminal Case No: 14-2018-DPL dated August 9, 2018 issued by Hon. Jose Rene G. Dondoyano, RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 6, Dipolog City.

Subject wanted person is now detained at Manukan MPS for proper disposition.
