Man Arrested for Adultery
KATIPUNAN, Zamboanga del Norte (Aug.15, 2018) - A 30-year old man was arrested for the crime of adultery at
Barangay Tuburan, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte at
about 9:00 AM of August 13, 2018.
Katipunan
MPS identified the arrested man as Yul Caipang y Atazan, 30 years old married,
Information Technician by profession and a resident of abovementioned place.
He
was arrested pursuant to the Warrant of Arrest issued by Presiding Judge
Kenneth P. Rosal of Municipal Trial Court in Cities (MTCC), Branch II, Ninth
Judicial Region, Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte dated June 7, 2017 for the
crime of “Adultery.” The case was docketed under Criminal Case Nr B-51223 with
bail bond recommended amounting to Twelve Thousand (Php12, 000.00) pesos for
his temporary liberty. The accused is now detained at Katipunan MPS for proper
disposition.
Man Held for the crime of Corruption of Public Official
KALAWIT, ZaNorte (Aug.15, 2018) – The Operatives of Kalawit MPS has arrested the person of Ruel
Galisa Maglinte aka Roy, 42 years old and a resident of Purok Centro, Brgy
Tugop, Kalawit, Zamboanga Del Norte during police operation at Brgy Tugop,
Kalawit, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 12:05 PM of August 13, 2018.
The accused
was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Judge Oscar D. Tomarong,
of RTC9 Branch 28, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte dated February 5, 2014 for the
crime of Corruption of Public Official docketed under Criminal Case Number
L-002186. No Bail bond recommended. Said accused is now detained at Kalawit MPS
for proper disposition.
Shooting Incident
MUTIA, ZaNorte (Aug.15, 2018) - Shooting incident occurred at Barangay New Siquijor, Mutia
Zamboanga Del Norte at about 9:00 PM of August 13, 2018.
The
victim identified as Roger Malin Etol, 37 years old, married, male, Filipino a
CAFGU member assigned at New Siquijor, Mutia Zamboanga Del Norte and a resident
of aforementioned Barangay. He was allegedly shoot by his elder brother
identified as one Sopiño Etol 55 years old, male, Filipino, a member of CAFGU
assigned at Upper New Dapitan, Concepcion, Miss. Occ. and resident of same of
same place. The suspect was using an improvised Homemade 12 gauge shotgun.
Immediately,
upon receipt of said report, PNP personnel of Muital MPS proceeded to
aforementioned place to verify the veracity of the said report.
Initial
investigation conducted disclosed that at about 8:00 o’clock in the evening
same date, the victim and the suspect had heated arguments at the residence of
Joel Etol, elder brother of the suspect and the victim.
Thereafter,
the suspect shoot the victim on his both thigh using an improvised 12 gauge
shotgun after the incident, suspect fled away towards unknown direction, while
the victim was immediately brought by his immediate relative to Jose Rizal
Memorial Hospital Dapitan, City for medical treatment.
After
the follow-up operation conducted with the help of personnel from 5th Infantry
Battalion Alpha Coy the BIN’s, Tanod, and BPATs suspect was arrested and
recovered the homemade shotgun used on said incident. Suspect detained at Mutia
MPS for filing of appropriate charges in court.
