Logging Operation
GUTALAC,
ZaNorte (Aug. 9, 2018) – The Operatives
of Gutalac MPS and DENR conducted anti-illegal logging operation at Brgy Cocob,
Gutalac, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 2:00 AM of August 8, 2018.
The operation was led to the
confiscation of fifty eight fleches of Mayapis, Guisok and Gmelina lumbers with
an equivalent volume of Eight Hundred Ninety point Zero One (890.01) board feet
and estimated value amounting to thirty
five thousand nine hundred twenty five pesos (Php35,925.00).
Investigation disclosed that said
lumbers were gathered and transported by Mr. Wilfredo D. Lobog of Poblacion,
Gutalac, Zamboanga del Norte and Mr. Pacifico B. Herida of Salvador, Gutalac,
Zamboanga del Norte without permits and related documents loaded into one unit
Canter color white bearing plate number YAU 537.
Two involved personalities were manage
to evade upon sensing the arrival of the apprehending officers and fled to
unknown direction but their identity were being identified positively by the informant.
The Confiscated lumbers were turned
over to DENR- CENRO for proper disposition.
Arsonist
Arrested in Baliguian, Zamboanga Del Norte
BALIGUIAN,
ZaNorte (Aug. 9, 2018) - A man who was
charged for arson was arrested at Sitio Palina, Brgy Tamao, Baliguian Zamboanga
del Norte
at about 5:00 PM of August 8, 2018.
Baliguian Police identified the
arrested as Randy Camacho Y Eslit, 31 years old, married and a resident of said
place.
The Suspect was arrested by virtue of
Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Arson docketed in Criminal Case Nr
2017-06-05 (1497) and bail fixed at PhP24, 000. 00 issued by Acting Judge,
Laarni Dajao, Presiding Judge, 9th RTC, Branch 27 Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte.
The Said arrested person is temporary
detained at Baliguian MPS for documentation and proper disposition.
Murder
Suspect Nabbed in Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte
SINDANGAN,
ZaNorte (Aug. 9, 2018) - A 17-year old
teen was arrested by operatives of Sindangan Police Station during law
enforcement operation conducted at about 8:30 AM of August 8, 2018 at Barangay
Poblacion, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte.
The arrested accused was identified as
Jessie O. Agom, 17 years old, minor, resident of Tinaplan, Sindangan, Zamboanga
Del Norte. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Presiding
Judge Hon. Reymar L. Lacaya of RTC Brach 11, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte.
The arrested person was accused for the crime of Murder with criminal case
number S-5741, no bail recommended and Attempted Murder with criminal case
number S-5742 with recommended bail of One Hundred Twenty Thousand Pesos (Php
120, 00.00) dated May 7, 2018
Subject person was brought to Sindangan
District Hospital for physical and medical examination and turn over to WCPS of
Sindangan MPS for proper disposition.
Dead
Body Found
DAPITAN
CITY (Aug. 9, 1918) – A certain Robee Godoy Alajas, 26 years
old and a resident of Barangay Banonong, Dapitan City and temporary residing at
Tambasin's Apartment located at Barangay Dawo, Dapitan City reported to Dapitan
CPS that at about 11:00 AM of August 8, 2018, she found her American National
boyfriend dead at the room of their apartment. Her boyfriend identified as
Steven Ray Parra, 51 years, male, divorced, US citizen and a resident of
Wyoming, USA.
Initial investigation conducted
revealed that said foreign national was complaining from back pain and took
some medicines and at about 11:00am of August 8, 2018, he was found lying
lifeless on his bed.
SOCO personnel are now conducting
thorough investigation to determine for any foul play on said incident.
Parricide
Suspect Arrested in Dapitan City
DAPITAN
CITY (Aug. 9, 2018) – The
personnel of Dapitan CPS conducted manhunt operation at Purok Guavas
Dos, Barangay. Ma. Christina, Dapitan City at about 11:05 AM of August 7, 2018.
The operating team identified the
arrested person as Flaviana Sagapsapan y Jumuad, 94 years old, female, widower
and a resident of Brgy Ma. Uray, Dapitan City.
She was arrested by virtue of warrant
of arrest issued by Presiding Judge Jose Rene Dondoyano of RTC, 9TH Judicial
Region, Branch 6, Dipolog City dated August 3, 2018 for the crime of Parricide
docketed under criminal case number 13706, without bail bond recommended.
The arrested suspect was included in
the Weekly Target Acquisition of wanted person of Dapitan CPS and now detained
in the said police station for proper disposition.
Wanted
Person Cuffed in Polanco, Zamboanga Del Norte
POLANCO,
ZaNorte (Aug. 9, 2018) - A 30-year old man
was arrested by operatives of Polanco MPS at Barangay Anastacio, Polanco,
Zamboanga Del Norte at about 3:50 PM of August 7, 2018.
Police identified the arrested person as
Ernesto Rodrigo Bastasa, 30 years old, male, married and a resident of said place.
Police arrested the accused by virtue
of alias warrant of arrest issued by Presiding Judge Victoriano D. Lacaya of
RTC 9th Judicial Region, branch 9, Dipolog City dated January 27, 2018 for the
crime of Attempted Murder docketed under criminal case number 22309 with bail
recommended is fixed at One Hundred Twenty Thousand Pesos (Php120, 000.00). He
is now detained at the said police station for proper disposition.

killed in Shooting Incident
LABASON,
ZaNorte (Aug. 9, 2018) – One person was
killed in Shooting incident transpired at Sitio Paningala, Brgy. New Salvacion,
Labason, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 7:00 PM of August 6, 2018.
Police identified the victim as Marlon
Cubi y Gumapit, 26 years old, married and a resident of above-mentioned place.
He was shot to death by 2 unidentified suspects wearing jackets and a facemask.
According to the live-in partner of the
victim identified as Mary Grace Mendoza y Cuyat, 23 years old, they were in
their house at the aforementioned place when two unidentified suspects wearing
jackets and face mask armed with a unidentified firearm appeared. One of them
shot the victim several times hitting the left back side of his head and exited
above his left forehead that causes his death.
Recovered at the crime scene were three
(3) fired cartridges and black facemask. Cadaver of the victim was turned-over
to his father. The PNP personnel of Labason MPS are now conducting thorough
investigation for the identification of the suspect. Investigator on case is

Rape
Suspect Arrested in Sibutad, Zamboanga Del Norte.
SIBUTAD,
ZaNorte (Aug. 9, 2018) – The Combined
operatives of Sibutad Police Station, Provincial Intelligence Branch of
Zamboanga Del Norte PPO and CIDG arrested rape suspect during the conduct of joint manhunt operation at Purok
2, Barangay Minlasag, Sibutad, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 5:00 PM of August
7, 2018.
The operating team identified the
arrested person as Felimon Solis Y Pacarat, 60 years old, male, married and a
resident of Purok 2, Barangay Minlasag, Sibutad, Zamboanga Del Norte.
The police arrested the accused
person by virtue of warrant of arrest
issued by Presiding Judge Rogelio D. Laquihon of Regional Trial Court, Ninth
Judicial Region, Branch 7, Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte dated July 23,
2018 for the Crime of Statutory Rape. The case was docketed under Criminal Case
No 22302 with recommended bail bond amounting to Two Hundred Thousand
Pesos (P200, 000.00)..The arrested
person is now detained at Sibutad MPS for proper disposition.
