Shooting Incident
DIPOLOG CITY - Shooting
incident transpired at Purok Forever, Relocation Site, Olinagan, Dipolog City,
Zamboanga Del Norte at about 8:20 PM of November 10, 2016. The victim was
identified as Ricky Tag-at y Zerna, 45 years old, married and a resident of the
aforesaid place Initial investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, victim
was sitting near the table inside of his
house busy on repacking the fish food pellets together with his common-law wife
identified as Merigen Velasco y Undang 34 years old, when two unidentified
suspects suddenly arrived riding on a Honda XRM 125 motorcycle color blue
without plate number. Wherein the driver, a medium built, more or less 5’6” in
height who was wearing a bull cap, black jacket and blue long pants while his
back rider wearing also a bull cap, black jacket, black short pants, medium
built and more or less 5’5” in height, parked their boarded motorcycle in front
of the house of the victim. Few minutes later, the suspects disembarked from
the motorcycle and the driver thereon successively shot the victim for several
times. The victim managed to run inside
the comfort room but fell down due to gunshot he sustained. As stated by witness,
before fleeing the suspects shot two (2) times to the air then fled to unknown
direction. The victim was brought was brought to the Zamboanga Del Norte Medical
Hospital but was pronounced dead-on-arrival (DOA) by Dr. Genesis Realiza M.D.,
attending physician due to the gunshot wound at the right portion on his chest.
Recovered from the crime scene were ten (10) pieces fired cartridges cases for
caliber .45 pistols and now deposited at Dipolog City Police Station for
ballistic examination. The victim was listed in the drug watch list (Street
Level Target) of Dipolog City Police Station.
Investigation is still conducted to establish the motive of the incident
for the possible identification and filing of appropriate case against the
suspects.

Arrest of Wanted Person
SINDANGAN - A man
charged for the violation of Concubinage was arrested in Barangay Poblacion,
Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 9:20 AM of November 10, 2016. Arrested
was Edgar Villagracia Y Peras, 50 years old, male, married, driver by
occupation and a resident of Barangay Dapaon, Sindangan. This is by virtue of
warrant of arrest duly signed by Hon. Nimfa B. Carreon- Padao, Presiding Judge
in the Third Municipal Circuit Trial Court, Ninth Judicial Region, Sindangan,
with Criminal Case No. 12661 for violation of Concubinage dated September 6,
2016. Bail for the provisional liberty of the accused is fixed at Php 10,000. He
is now temporarily detained at Sindangan MPS for proper disposition.
Campaign against Illegal Drugs
LILOY - Operatives of
Liloy MPS and PDEA conducted drug buy bust operation at Barangay Fatima, Liloy,
Zamboanga Del Norte
at about 8:40 PM of
November 10, 2016. This resulted to the arrest of one Jean Galag Vergara,
married, 39 years old, housewife, a resident of Sitio Habitat, Fatima, Liloy,
and categorized as a Street Level Target user/pusher. Recovered from her
possession and control were the following items; one (1) piece small sachet
believed to be “Shabu” as buy bust evidence, one (1) piece small sachet
believed to be “Shabu” three (3) pieces one hundred peso bill bearing serial
nos. TJ961663, DU048089 and WS680443 as marked money. The inventory of items
was conducted in the presence of Hon. Gerry Managase and Hon. Lolita R. Eroy,
barangay Councilor of Fatima, Liloy, Arrested person was now in the custody of
Liloy MPS as well as the recovered items.
1 Killed in Sirawai Police Operation
SIRAWAI - Operatives
of Sirawai MPS, RPSB9, PPSC and 42nd IB Phil. Army conducted service
of search warrant at the house of Erwin Dacula Y Sali “aka Thots” at the
vicinity of Barangay Sirawai Proper, Sirawai, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 9:05
PM of November 10, 2016. This is by virtue of two (2) Search Warrant with
number 2016 -11-10 (DR618) for violation of RA 9165 and number 2016 -11-10
(FA17) for violation of RA 10591 issued by the Presiding Judge Hon Laarni N
Dajao of 9th Judicial Region Branch 27, Siocon, dated November 10,
2016. During the service of Search Warrant, the raiding team was about to enter
the residence of the subject person, suddenly an unidentified person from the
house draw a weapon and fired a shot, the raiding team retaliate that resulted
to his death due to gunshot wounds and later identified as Mohammad Sabuddin Y
Lumigis, 32 years old, married and a resident of Barangay Malambuhangin,
Siocon, and he was included in the Link Diagram as pusher of Sirawai MPS.
Recovered from his possession were one Cal .45 pistol, with serial number
132753, one ( 1 ) magazine of cal .45 and three ( 3 ) live ammos of Cal .45. However,
the subject person was able to elude arrest during the commotion. Recovered
from the house of the subject person were as follows; one (1) pc M16 rifle
colt, with defaced serial number, twenty nine (29) pcs of Cal 5.56 ammos, one
(1) pc long magazine for M16 rifle , nine (9) pcs small heat sealed crystalline substance believed to be shabu
and two (2) pcs aluminum foil. Investigator on case is PO3 Rashid Rivera
Paniorotan # 09951450637.
Wanted Person Arrested
SINDANGAN - The
operatives of Sergio Osmena MPS conducted service of warrant at Barangay Inuman,
Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 8AM of November 10, 2016. This led to
the arrest of Marissa A. Ca-ay 44, years old, married, and a resident of
Barangay San Juan, Sergio Osmeña. Said person has a pending warrant of arrest
for Violation of section 10 (a) of R.A 7610 docketed under criminal case number
18513 issued by Rogelio D. Laquihon Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, 9th
Judicial Region, branch 7, Dipolog City with bail recommended of eighty thousand
pesos (80,000.00) for her temporary liberty and Adultery docketed in criminal
case number 008-13 (SO) issued by Alnaiza T. Hassiman Presiding Judge, 5th MCTC
of Katipunan-Sergio Osmeña, 9th Judicial Region, Katipunan, ZN with bail
recommended of Twelve Thousand pesos (12,000.00) for her temporary liberty.
Subject person is Top 7 most Wanted under Lambat Sibat target of Sergio Osmena
MPS and now temporarily detained at Sergio Osmena MPs for proper disposition.
