Shooting Incident
LEON POSTIGO, Zamboanga Del Norte (Feb. 4, 2019) - Shooting incident transpired at Sitio Kalatong, Sipakong Leon Postigo, Zamboanga Del Norte, wherein victim identified as Junie Entas Ambida, 28 years old, married, farmer and a resident of Sitio Kalatong, Sipakong, Leon Postigo, Zamboanga Del Norte.
The victim was shot to death by suspect identified as Arnel Esik uncle of the victim and certain Ganggang Amad.
Initial investigation conducted disclosed that at about 5:00 PM of February 3, 2019 there was a “Tabo” or market day at the Barangay site of the said place, wherein victim together with his wife went to the Barangay site purposely to buy some spices and food stuff and at around 5:00 PM of same date the couple decided to go home.
Accordingly, at about 6:00 PM of same date while on their way home, there were two (2) male persons identified as Arnel Esik uncle of the victim and certain Ganggang Amad both of legal ages waylaid their way. One of the suspects which was GangGang Amad was holding a homemade handgun with unknown caliber and immediately shot the victim (Junie Ambida) once hitting at his abdomen and pass through at the back.
After the incident the two suspects immediately fled away towards mountainous part of the said Barangay and the wife of the victim ask for help to her relatives and Barangay Officials in order to brought the victim to the hospital for immediate medical attention and was attended by Dr. Nida M Ramos duty physician but unfortunately after few minutes the victim was pronounced dead by the attending physician due to hemorrhagic shock secondary to gunshot wound.
Accordingly, the said incident started because of the credit of the victim to his uncle Arnel Esik worth Three Hundred Pesos only (Php300.00).
Cadaver of the victim was turned over to her wife for proper disposition. Personnel from Leon Postigo MPS are still conducting follow-up investigation and pursuit operation for possible arrest of the suspects.
Murder Suspect Arrested
SERGIO OSMEÑA, Zamboanga Del Norte (Feb. 4, 2019) - On February 01, 2019 at about 4:00 AM, PNP elements of Sergio Osmeña MPS led by PCI Robert E Agda –Officer In charge conducted joint law enforcement operation at Brgy. Marapong, Sergio Osmeña, Zamboanga Del Norte.
The operation was resulted to the arrest of Noe Salazar Tumaroy, 22 years old, male, single, farmer and a resident of Brgy. Marapong, Sergio Osmeña, Zamboanga Del Norte.
Subject person has a standing Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Murder docketed in criminal case number 22697, issued by Hon. Ric S. Bastasa, Presiding Judge, RTC 9, Branch 8, Dipolog city dated October 2, 2018 with no bail recommended.
Arrested person is now under the custody of Sergio Osmeña MPS for documentation and proper disposition.
Dapitan City Top 4 Most Wanted, Captured
DAPITAN CITY, Zamboanga Del Norte (Feb. 4, 2019) - On February 01, 2019 at about 4:30 PM, personnel of Dapitan CPS together with Sindangan MPS conducted manhunt operation at Brgy. Dagohoy, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte.
The operation was led to the arrest of Top 4 Most Wanted Person. PCSUPT Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9 Regional Director identified the suspect as Morindo Tanodra Motargo, 77 years old, male, married, a resident of the above-mentioned place and listed as Top 4 Most Wanted Person of Dapitan City Police Station.
Subject person was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Presiding Judge Hon. Rogelio Laquijon of Regional Trial Court, Branch 7, Dipolog City for the crime of Rape in relation to RA 7610 docketed under Criminal Case Nr 8706 dated July 31, 2017 without bail bond recommended.
The arrested person is now under the custody of Dapitan CPS for proper disposition.
