Man Arrested for Adultery
SINDANGAN. Zamboanga Del Norte (Feb. 13, 2019) - Joint personnel of Sindangan Municipal Police Station and CIDG9 conducted manhunt operation at Brgy Gampis, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 5:30 PM of February 12, 2019.
Arrested was identified as Felix Bazar Vidal, 39, and a resident of said place. He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Judge Nimfa B. Carreon- Padao, of MCTC, 9RTC Judicial Region, Sindangan, Zambaoanga Del Norte dated February 12, 2019, for the crime of Adultery, docketed under Criminal Case no. 13048 with bail bond amounting to Php12,000.00.
Arrested wanted person is now detained at Sindangan MPS for proper disposition.
Fire Incident
GODOD, Zamboanga Del Norte (Feb. 11, 2019) - Fire Incident transpired at Godod Game Club/Cockpit, Sitio Lusaran, Brgy. Poblacion, Godod, Zamboanga Del Norte.
Immediately upon receipt of said information, Godod MPS and the Bureau of Fire Protection, Salug Station proceeded to said place.
The fire was already under control and only about ¼ of the building was razed by fire when the responding personnel arrived and they immediately cordoned the area and conducted initial investigation. Initial investigation conducted by Bureau of Fire Protection, Salug Station, disclosed that the cause of the said incident was purely accidental for the reason that the fire broke out due to a cigarette butt accidentally thrown to the withered and dried grassy area near the Cockpit.
Incident happened between 3:00 AM to 4:00 AM of s of February 11, 2018. The estimated value of damage is amounting to ₱7,000.
2 Drug Suspect Arrested
DIPOLOG CITY, Zamboanga Del Norte (Feb. 11, 2019) - Operatives/ City Drug Enforcement Unit [CDEU] of Dipolog City Police Station conducted drug buy-bust operation at Purok 7, Brgy Sta. Isabel, Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 10:50AM of February 10, 2019 and successfully arrested one Joanna Dangcalan y Woo Alias “Joanna Woo”, 18 years old, single, High School Graduate, jobless and born on March 9, 2000 and one David Noble y Woo Alias “David Woo”, 31 years old, single, Elementary Level, driver, both a residents of said place.
Confiscated/recovered from the possession and control of the suspects were the following items:
Two (2) pieces big Heat-sealed Transparent Plastic Sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be shabu,
Fourteen (14) pieces small size Heat-sealed Transparent Plastic Sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be shabu,
One (1) piece small plastic sachet containing residue believed to be shabu,
One (1) piece Php500.00 peso bill bearing serial number LZ048199 as marked money,
Five (5) pcs one hundred peso bill as proceeds money,
One (1) piece Fifty (Php 50.00) peso bill proceeds money,
One (1) piece empty matchbox served as container of the shabu and
One (1) piece disposable lighter.
Initial searched was done at the place of arrest particularly at the room of the suspect Alias “Joanna Woo” in the presence of Hon. Rodel C. Enero – Barangay Chairman of Sta. Isabel this city and confiscated in plain view the one (1) pc matchbox containing illegal drugs believed to be shabu and buy-bust money at the open sling bag of the said suspect.
However, at the crime scene, immediate family, relatives and friends of the suspects living near the area attempted to disturbed and harassed the operating team which prompted our team leader to decide that the inventory and markings of all confiscated/seized including the body search of the arrested suspects will be done at Dipolog CPS.
Also declared in the presence of the witnesses and arrested suspects is the one (1) piece small size Heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be shabu which was bought by the poseur buyer from the abovementioned suspect during the actual buy-bust operation as buy-bust evidence.
Arrested suspects were brought to Provincial Crime Laboratory Office (SOCO) for drug testing together with the pieces of drug evidence for chemical examination and weighing at the said office while the non-drug evidence were safe keep at Dipolog CPS for court exhibit.
Estimated street value of confiscated illegal drugs (shabu) amounting to One Hundred Fifty Thousand Pesos (Php 150,000.00). Suspects were now detained at Dipolog CPS.

Held for Obstruction of Justice
KALAWIT,
Zamboanga Del Norte (Feb. 14, 2019) - PNP personnel
of Kalawit Municipal Police Station conducted manhunt operation in Sitio
Palalihan, Brgy. Botong, Kalawit, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 10:30 AM of
February 13, 2019.
The operation was led to the arrest of Welbin
Sandal Salibat, 31, married, habal-habal driver and a resident of Sitio
Palalihan, Brgy. Botong, Kalawit, Zamboanga Del Norte.
He was arrested by virtue of warrant of
arrest issued by Judge Jerry B. Patcho of 6th MCTC, 9th Judicial Region, Labason
for Violation of PD 1829 (Obstruction of Justice) docketed under CC Nr 3842-K
with bail bond recommended amounting to Thirty Six Thousand pesos (₱hp36,000.00)
for his temporary liberty.
Subject wanted person is now detained
at Kalawit MPS for proper disposition.

Cadaver Found
PIÑAN,
Zamboanga Del Norte (Feb. 14, 2019) - A
male cadaver was found at the creek of Brgy Del Pilar, Pinan, Zamboanga Del
Norte at about 6:30 AM of February 13, 2019.
PNP personnel of Piñan Municipal Police
Station together with Doctor Ricardo Sardillas Awit Medico legal officer/ MHO
proceeded to the reported place.
Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that the victim identified as Dioscoro Lastimosa 54 years old,
married, farmer and a resident of Brgy Del Pilar, Pinan was found lifeless at
the reported place.
Accordingly, prior to the incident, at
about 9:00 AM of February 12, 2019, the victim asked permission to his family
that he would catch a fish for their lunch at the creek but the victim failed
to return home.
The immediate family and their
neighbors exerted efforts to locate Dioscoro but no to avail. Medical
examination was conducted by Doctor Ricardo Sardillas Awit Medico legal
officer/ MHO revealed that the victim died due to a poisonous snake bite.

SIBUTAD,
Zamboanga Del Norte (Feb. 15, 2019) - On February
14, 2019 at about 9:00PM at Brgy Kanim, Sibutad, Zamboanga Del Norte, PNP
personnel of Siayan MPS together with personnel of Don Victoriano MPS and
Bonifacio MPS arrested Dionesio Gahok Damaing, 39, male, married, miner, a
resident of Purok 3, Mansawan, Don Victoriano, Misamis Occidental and
temporarily residing at Brgy Kanim, Sibutad, Zamboanga Del Norte.
He was arrested by virtue of WOA issued by
Presiding Judge Sylvia A. Singidas-Machacon of RTC 10, Branch 16, Tangub City
dated January 14, 2014 for the crime of Rape docketed under Criminal Case No.
TC-2013-056 without bail bond recommended.
The said accused was brought to Sibutad
MPS for proper documentation and further brought to Don Victoriano MPS for
proper disposition.

Zamboanga Del Norte (Feb. 15, 2019) - PNP
personnel of Siayan MPS and Bayog MPS arrested a wanted person at Sitio Calacas,
Brgy Poblacion, Siayan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 6:00 PM of February 14,
2019.
Arrested was Jojo Sumikad Manquiquiz,
43 years old, male, married, farmer, a resident of Purok 3, Barangay. Baking,
Bayog, Zambonga Del Sur.
He was arrested by virtue of warrant of
arrest issued by Presiding Judge of RCTC Branch 20, Pagadian City for the crime
of Murder docketed under criminal case number 11898-2015, without bail bond
recommended.
Arrested suspect is now detained at
Siayan MPS for proper disposition.

City (Feb. 15, 2019) - PNP personnel of
Liloy MPS successfully arrested the person of Karen Joy Bandico, Top 9 Most
Wanted Person (Municipal Level), 20 years old, female, Filipino, a resident of
San Jose, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte at
about 6:45PM of February 14, 2019.
The accused was arrested by virtue of
warrant of arrest issued by Judge of RTC9, Branch 24, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay
dated February 28, 2017 for the crime of Theft docketed under criminal case number
I-05 and no available bail due to RA 9344.
Another warrant of arrest issued by
Judge Chad Martin Paler of MTCC Branch 1, Dipolog City dated January 13, 2017
for the crime of Theft docketed under criminal case number A-50338 with bail
bond recommended fixed at Twelve Thousand Pesos (P12, 000.00).
The arrested wanted person was brought
to Liloy Integrated Health District Hospital for medical/physical examination
and is now under the custody of Liloy MPS for proper disposition.
