Motor Vehicle Traffic Accident

POLANCO - Be informed that on or about 10:20 o’clock in the evening of May 16, 2017 Motor vehicle Non- traffic accident transpired at the National Highway of Barangay Silawe, Polanco, ZN involving one (1) unit white Suzuki multicab, bearing plate no. JGZ 152, with CR no. 182523983,OR no. 949377774, Engine no. F6A6373710, Chassis no. DD51T427012 owned and driven by RHO LANOSO y MIRASOL, 33 years old, DOB-December 22, 1983, male, unemployed, Filipino, married, holder of PLDL no.JO1-4-002033 and resident of Barangay Silawe, Polanco, ZN and a pedestrian identified as RENIERIO BENTILACION y TACLOBAN, 48 years old, DOB- December 30, 1968, male, married, Filipino and resident of Barangay Tubod, Iligan City. Initial investigation conducted by the responding traffic officer PO1 Archival M. Pugoy with cellphone No. 09466186191 disclosed that while Suzuki multicab travelling from Barangay Pob. South, Polanco, ZN bound for Barangay Silawe, upon reaching at the National Highway of said barangay was accidentally hit and sideswiped one RenierioBentilacion y Tacloban which was walking along the road in an opposite direction which inflicted serious/fatal injury of said pedestrian and were immediately brought to ZANORTE Medical Center, Sicayab, Dipolog City for an immediate medical attention but unfortunately, the said victim  pronounced Dead On Arrival of said Hospital by the attending physician. Driver was temporarily detained to Polanco MPS pending filing appropriate charges in court while vehicle involved was temporarily impounded at said station for proper disposition. For information.

Report on Vehicular Traffic Accident

LEON B. POSTIGO - Be informed that at about 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon of May 14, 2017,a concern citizen informed Leon B Postigo MPS that a vehicular traffic accident transpired at sitio Milaned, Talinga Leon B. Postigo, Zamboanga del Norte. Immediately, personnel of Leon B Postigo MPS led by PO3 Rey C. Bensulan responded the said report. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that on or about 1:40 o’clock in the afternoon of May 14, 2017 a vehicular traffic accident transpiredalong the national highway of Sitio Milaned, Talinga, Leon B. Postigo, Zamboanga del Norte wherein one white Fuso truck bearing plate number KCY 848, Engine Number 4D34-A94552, Chassis Number FE439EV-580181 registered and driven by Robert Soria Sr y Batoon, 58 years old, married, Filipino, Driver, a holder of driver’s license number JO1-12-002785 which valid until January 12, 2018 and a resident of Barangay Imelda, Labason, Zamboanga del Norte accidentally bumped by a motorcycle Kymco without plate number attached with engine number KB222035593, chassis number LC2E11000D1012510 registered under the name of Victoriano T. Salangantin of Market Side Canyon Manolo Fortich Bukidnon and driven by a certain Ronel Villagracia y Edjas, 28 years old, married, Filipino, farmer, high school graduate with three (3) back riders identified as  Marvin Villagracia y Edjas, 17 years old, brother of the driver; Reymart Edjas y Pontalan, 20 years old and Roberto Edjas Jr y Pontalan, 12 years old, both cousin of the driver and all resident of Sitio Pasi Barangay Moyo, Siayan, Zamboanga del Norte.Further investigation conducted disclosed that while the motorcycle was travelling from Barangay Poblacion Leon B Postigo, ZN going to Sitio Pasi, Moyo, Siayan, ZN together with his backriders and upon reaching on the descending curve portion of the road of Sitio Milanedthe motorcycle  driver lost control of his driven MC due to the weight of the backriders and malfunction ofthe foot brake that resulted the motorcycle crossed to the opposite lane where the Fuso truck travelling and bumped into the Fuso Truck. According to the driver of the truck he tried to stop and evade his driven vehicle but unfortunatelly the descending motorcycle was very fast. After the incident both victim’s was immediately brought to Sindangan District Hospital by the responding team for immediate medical attention but the three victim’s, Ronel Villagracia, Reymart Edjas and Roberto Edjas Jr was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician while Marvin Villagracia was treated and revived by the personnel of the hospital but later pronounced dead by attending physician. Report on MVTA involving Pedestrian

SERGIO OSMEÑA - Be informed that at about7:30 o’clock in the evening of May 14, 2017 Sergio Osmena MPS responded to a reported vehicular incident transpired at SitioMamara, Brgy Venus, Sergio Osmena, ZN wherein the victim identified as JOSEPHINE C. SOLADA, female, 53 years old, married a resident of SitioMamara, Brgy Venus, Sergio Osmena, ZN. Initial investigation disclosed that at around 7:00 o’clock in the morning of same date, the victim was walking and tried to crossed the national highway of the above- mentioned place when suddenly a motorcycle without headlight travelling from behind bound to Josefina, ZS municipality accidentally bumped the victim that resulted to fall down on the road and was immediately brought to ZANORTE medical Hospital due to injuries sustained. While the unidentified driver run towards the grassy area leaving along his driven MC a Honda Wave 110 MC, color red, bearing plate No 2336JP with chassis no.  KWY00165988. RIZAL - Be informed that one MAIZA SUPANGAN y CONCORDA, 23 years old, single, 5’5” in height, brown complexion, wearing T-shirt color white with blue strips and jogging pants, mentally incapacitated and a resident of brgy Birayan, Rizal, ZN was reported missing by his brother. Accordingly, said missing person left their house at around 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon of May 10, 2017 and until this date did notreturn home. Belated Report on MVTA

SIBUCO - Be informed that at about 5:40 o’clock in the afternoon of  May 14 2017, vehicular incident transpired at Plantasyon, Purok 7, Lintangan, Sibuco, ZN wherein one Dump truck accidentally bump a single motorcycle which resulted to the death of three (3) persons on board namely;JOSEPH AMALAN y LIMBANG, 25 years old, male, married, construction worker, PETER SALLAN y ALCALA, 67  years old, male, widow, farmer, and one JIMBOY AMPARO Y VENTURA, 18  years old, male, married, construction worker all resident of Purok 7, Lintangan, Sibuco, ZN. Initial investigation disclosed that the Dump truck was heading towards north direction driven by one DIOMEL DUA y AMBAG, 21 years old, who accidentally lost control and bumped to the incoming motorcycle driven by one JOSEPH AMALANthat resulted to their fatal death. SIBUCO - Be informed that at around 3:10 o’clock in the afternoon of May 15, 2017 Sibuco MPS responded to a vehicular incident transpired at brgyPasilnahut, Sibuco, ZN wherein two vehicles were involved VEH-1(SUV 4BJ1 Type Jeep) driven by  IAN ARAGON Y OMA,male,single aresident Tubod Lakewood, ZS with one passenger NASIR MANAMAT Y MAMANGUNGUN, 27 years old,married,a Survey Aid of Eser Construction Companyand a resident of So Nasal BrgyKamarangan, Sibuco, ZN and VEH-2 a single motorcycle driven by still unidentified person with one passenger. Initial investigation disclosed that both vehicles were running in an opposite direction upon reaching at the curve area of the place of incident accidentally bumped each other resulting to injuries sustained on the driver and passenger of VEH-2 and was rushed to Sibuco Hospital. Arrest of Wanted Person

KATIPUNAN - Combined operatives of Katipunan MPS and CIDG conducted manhunt operation at Bonifacio Street, Barangay Estaka, Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 11:45 AM of May 16, 2017. This resulted in the arrested of Mark Dave E Alferez, 16 years old and Romar E Alferez, 17 years old, both residents of the above-mentioned place. Subject persons were arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of frustrated murder issued by Hon. Rogelio D. Laquihon, Presiding Judge of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 7, Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte docketed under criminal case number 21391 dated May 12, 2017 with recommended bail-bond of two hundred thousand (₱200,000.00) pesos each. The suspect was brought to CIDG office located at airport Drive, Minaog, Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte for documentation. Moreover, at about 4:00 pm of the same date, the arrested persons were issued a commitment order signed by Hon. Rogelio D. Laquihon and subsequently turn-over to Regional Rehabilitation Center for Youth at Polanco, Zamboanga Del Norte.

DAPITAN CITY - Be informed that on or about 4:46 o’clock in the afternoon of May 14, 2017 MDET of Dapitan CPS led by PCI MALAHAY SAID, Deputy COP together with MDET of La Libertad MPS conducted joint buy bust operation at Brgy. Opao, Dapitan City that resulted to the arrest of NOEL SUSAS DAGPIN, 41 years old, married (Drug Surrenderer of Dapitan CPS last July 8, 2016, categorized as druguser) and a resident of the aforementioned place. Confiscated from his possession and control were one (1) pc plastic sachet believed to be shabu; one (1) pc plastic sachet believed to be shabu bought during buy-bust operation; five (5) pcs One Hundred Peso bill used as buy-bust money with SN No. ER300710, DR455811, ZA786976, ZA437827 and ZA507836 as proceeds. SIOCON - Be informed that at about 3:40 o’clock in the afternoon of May 15, 2017 Siocon MPS MDET led by PCI JOSEPH R MAULAD, OIC in coordination with ZN-PDEA conducted buy bust operation at Brgy S. Arabi, Siocon, ZN against JULMOIN J BINUGUIT a resident of said place. But unfortunately, during the transaction at their residence the suspect knew that he is dealing with a police officer thereby causing the suspect to ran and evade arrest. However, during the continuous operation the team arrested one LEOPOLDO ADUCA BESUEÑO, 32 years old, married, former surrenderer during Oplan Double Barrel Alpha and a resident of Brgy JP Brillantes, Siocon, ZN who was trapped inside the house of the subject and just finished sniffing shabu. Recovered/confiscated from his possession were; One (1) pc small sachet of shabu, five (5) pcs cut/used transparent plastic sachets, two (2) pcs cut/rolled strip aluminum tin foils served as improvised tooters, eight (8) pcs Cut/rolled strip aluminum tin foils, three (3) pieces aluminum tin foils served as improvised needle and one (1) pcdisposable lighter colored green.Inventory and markings of confiscated items was witnessed byBrgy.
