PIÑAN - Hacking
incident occurred at sitio, Nipaan, Poblacion South, Piñan, Zamboanga Del Norte
at about 9:00 PM of April 30, 2017. The victim was identified as Ruel Morala
Duhaylungsod, 45 year old, married, carpenter; a resident of Sitio, Nipaan,
Poblacion South, Piñan, Zamboanga Del Norte. He was hacked by Roderick Tumapon
Ibas, 32 years old, a resident of said place hitting the victim at his right
arm at around 8:40 pm of same date. initial investigation conducted disclosed
that the victim was celebrating his birthday at his house said suspect believed
to be under the influence of intoxicating liquor, suddenly appeared and boxed a
certain alias beb who was one of the guest/visitors
of the victim hitting at the jaw after the incident suspect left, after more or
less ten (10) minutes suspect came back but was told by the
victim not to make any more trouble to his guest/visitors, however without any
apparent reason suspect hacked the victim with the use of a bolo hitting the
victim at his right elbow. Recovered from the possession of the suspect were a
bolo and a curved end bolo locally known as lagaraw which were deposited to the
investigation section for court exhibit? Victim was brought to Piñan District
Hospital and later transferred to Zamboanga Del Norte Medical Center, Dipolog
City, Zamboanga Del Norte for medical treatment while suspect is now detained
at Piñan MPS for filing of appropriate charges in court. Investigator-on-case

Alleged Indiscriminate Firing
DIPOLOG CITY - Allegedly
unidentified group of males armed of unknown caliber firearms made a gunshot at
Purok Bulahan, Sitio Katadman, Turno, Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte at
about 11:35 PM of April 30, 2017. Dipolog CPS responded to the incident and
arrested Jigger Permanao Mamawe, 29 years old, single, a resident of barangay Tuburan,
Pagadian City, Margarito Fernandez
Yangyang, 48 years old, married and a resident of Poblacion Pitogo, Zamboanga
De Sur both employees of JF construction, and Mark Lofrey Bayuging Rebana, 31 years
old, married and a resident Of Cauayan City, Isabela, the contractor and owner
of jf construction. the three (3) abovementioned persons were responsible in
attacking Rolly Toval Pampilo, 42 years old, married and resident of the same
place at their house using unknown caliber firearm gun pointed at the people
thereat while destroying the video-k television owned by Edmundo Ratificar
Mapeso, 47 years old, married and likewise threatened Jules King, 34 years old,
single and Jelli Dellosa Pampilo, 21 years old, all residents of the
above-mentioned place. Not contented, the suspects made a gun shot at the
neighborhood of said place. Confiscated from the possession and control of mark
Lofrey Bayuging Rebana was one (1) unit m16 modified firearm without magazine
marked stagarms newbritain. ct usa s/n 000599 model stag-15 cal. 5.56mm with a
broken and removed butt stock while recovered from the possession and control
of Margarito Fernandez Yangyang was one (1) stainless magazine of caliber .45
with three live ammunitions of cal. 45 ball.
Recovered from the crime scene was fired cartridge case believed to be
of caliber .45 ammunitions? Suspects and recovered evidence were brought and
turned to Dipolog CPS for proper disposition. Investigator-on-case is Po3 Allan
