Vehicular Traffic Accident

DALMAN - Vehicular accident transpired along National Highway Of Brgy, Galas,
Dipolog City at about 4:50 PM of February 13,
2018 particularly in front of flea market wherein Mitsubishi L300 ambulance,
colored white, bearing temporary plate number 135210 registered under the
municipality of Jose Dalman, Zamboanga Del Norte, driven by Eduardo Aliga
Haranay, 62 years old, married, a resident of Poblacion, Jose Dalman, Zamboanga
Del Norte while transporting a pregnant woman towards the hospital and
travelling along galas highway going Dipolog City proper, the ambulance
accidentally hit a pedestrian identified as Wenceslao Arcebal Columnas, 77
years old, married, a resident of Purok Bayabas Brgy. Sangkol, Dipolog City.
Immediately the driver and the crew of the ambulance boarded the victim and
brought to the hospital but later on he was declared dead by the attending
physician, Dr. Darrel C. Quiachon, M.D. the driver is presently detained at
Dipolog CPS for proper disposition. The said vehicle temporary impounded at
said station for proper disposition.
