Road Crash Accident
DAPITAN CITY - Road crash accident occurred at Road 17, Brgy Banonong, Dapitan City, Zamboanga del Norte at about 2:15 AM of of May 6, 2019.
The accident was involving one unit Black Honda Civic vehicle driven by Jules Adriatico Baes, 19 years old, male, single, a resident of Brgy Turno, Dipolog City accidentally collided into a house beside the above-mentioned place while four (4) members of the family were sleeping.
Initial investigation conducted disclosed that said vehicle was travelling from Sunset Boulevard going to Dapitan City proper traversing Lawaan-Banonong National Highway and upon reaching at the place of accident, the driver believed to be under the influence of liquor, maneuver to the right to avoid hitting the rotunda but accidentally collided into the near house wherein the four (4) members of family were sleeping.
Victims were identified as Janet Acojedo Cadano, 30 years old, (mother); Rodel Moreno Cadano, 34 years old (father); 9 years old and 5 years minors, all residents of Brgy Banonong Dapitan City.
Rjay Acojedo Cadano sustained serious physical injury while the other victims sustained minor injuries on the different parts of their body.
All victims were brought to Jose Rizal memorial Hospital for medical treatment while the driver was arrested and now detained at Dapitan City Police Station for filing of appropriate charges in court.
Robbery Suspect Arrested
GODOD, Zamboanga del Norte - Police operatives of Godod Municipal Police Station led by Police Captain Roseller T Buburan conducted manhunt operation at Brgy Poblacion Godod, Zamboanga del Norte at about 7:45 AM of May 7, 2019.
Police Brigadier Gen. Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9 Director identified the GODODarrested as Wilmer Pisan Caermare alias Langlang, 30 years old, single and a resident of Brgy Poblacion Godod, Zamboanga del Norte.
He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Judve Reymar L. Lacaya of Br 28, 9th Judicial Region, Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte dated April 21, 2019 for the crime of Robbery docketed under Criminal Case no. L-003606 with bailbond amounting to Php 200,000.00.
Arrested wanted person is now detained at Godod Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
Man Arrested for COMELEC Gun Ban
SINDANGAN, Zamboanga del Norte - PNP elements of Sindangan Municipal Police Station led by Police Major Domingo Suarez Murillo II conducted COMELEC checkpoint at Brgy. Magsaysay, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte at about 7:30 PM of May 6, 2019.
Police Brigadier Gen. Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9 Director said the operation resulted to the apprehension of Archie Baja Dalangin 39 years old, married and a resident of Disud, Sindangan Zamboanga Del Norte who committed a violation in relation to COMELEC Resolution no. 10446, sec 261 of the Omnibus Election Code Art XXII, Sec 32 of RA 7166.
Recovered from his possession was one (1) unit of caliber 38 revolvers with ten (10) live ammunitions.
The suspect was brought to Sindangan Municipal Police Station for filing of appropriate charges against him.
4 Arrested in One Time Big Time in Zamboanga del Norte
Four individuals were arrested by police units of Zamboanga City Police Office during One Time Big-time Operation conducted at the different Barangays in Zamboanga City on May 7, 2019.
Police Brigadier Gen. Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9 Director identified the four arrested suspect as:
Wilbert Del Rosario Francisco, 30 yrs. Old,
Sukarno Ajuda Talawani, legal age,
Cresencio Carpio Enecito, legal age and
Victor Francisco Duyugan, legal age, all residents of Zamboanga City.
Wilbert Del Rosario Francisco was arrested at about 5:35 AM of May 7, 2019 by police elements of Zamboanga City Mobile Force Company and Zamboanga City Police Station 6 during the service of Search Warrant in connection with the OTBT with Search Warrant No. 2019-206 for Violation of RA 10591.
The WoA was signed by Hon Gregorio V Dela Peña, RTC Branch 12, Zamboanga City at Farmers Drive, Brgy. Mampang, Zamboanga City Evidence recovered were One (1) unit Cal 45 pistol, Four (4) magazines Cal 45, Sixteen (16) live ammunitions of Cal 45, One (1) holster, Eleven (11) sachets of suspected shabu and several drug paraphernalia.
Sukarno Ajuda Talawani was arrested at about 1:50 AM of May 7, 2019 by operatives of Zamboanga City Police Station 11 in a buy bust operation re OTBT at Purok 3, Brgy Sinunuc, Zamboanga City.
Confiscated from his possession were Five (5) sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of 1,500.00 pesos and 500.00 pesos registered marked money.
Cresencio Carpio Enecito and Victor Francisco Duyugan were arrested at about 12:30 PM of May 6, 2019 by operatives of Zamboanga City Police Station 11 in a drug buy bust operation at Magnolia Lane, Brgy. Canelar, Zamboanga City.
Confiscated from their possessions were Three (3) sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of 1,100.00 pesos and 200.00 pesos registered marked money.
All arrested suspects are presently detained at the above-mentioned police stations for inquest.
