KATIPUNAN - Shooting incident
transpired at Barangay, San Vicente Katipunan, Zamboanga del Norte at about 6:30 in the morning of October 6,
2016, Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the said victim was
identified as Jumar Pujol Moreno, 45 years old, male, married, Filipino, a
resident of above-mentioned barangay, former member of Sangguniang Bayan of
Katipunan municipality, a drug pusher surrenderer under Project Tokhang last
July 5, 2016 and included in the Watch list listed as nr 9 of said
municipality, who was shot to death by unidentified riding in tandem
perpetrators. 5. Further investigation revealed that at about 6:20 in the morning
of same date, victim Jumar went home from the house of his neighbor identified
as Barangay Councilor Glean Medija and upon reaching in front of the victim’s
house, two (2) unidentified perpetrators riding on a Honda XRM motorcycle,
without plate number, suddenly appeared. The back rider with half of his face
concealed with a bonnet alighted from said vehicle and drew his long firearm
believed to be M16 rifle and shot the victim twice. The victim sustained two
gunshot wounds on his head that resulted to his instantaneous death. After the
said incident, the assailants immediately fled exiting to the National Highway
of Barangay Daanglungsod, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte. Recovered from the
crime scene were Two (2) pcs fired cartridge cases of 5.56mm. Cadaver of the
victim is now at Rubio Funeral Home, Roxas. PNP personnel of Katipunan MPS are
still conducting follow-up operation and investigation to establish the motive

Robbery Incident
DIPOLOG CITY - Robbery
incident transpired at the store located along Tomas Claudio St., Barangay
Miputak, Dipolog City
at about 7:00 AM of
October 6, 2016, owned by Leonila Santome Jarmen, 55 years old, a resident of
Purok 4, Sta., Isabel, Dipolog City. 3. Investigation conducted disclosed that
the store was entered by two identified suspects namely: John Keith Cabales Y
Cabilin, 18 years old single and Marvin Daarol Y Baidiango, 16 years old minor,
both residents of Tomas Claudio St., Miputak, Dipolog City. Both suspects gained entrance by opening the
main gate of the perimeter fence of the said store and once inside, they
destroyed the hasp staple of the padlock of the main door of the store and once
inside, took the cash money amounting to eight thousand pesos (Php 8,000.00)
and assorted grocery items. 4. Follow-up investigation by elements of Dipolog
CPS that resulted to the arrest of the suspect Marvin Daarol and he confided
that his companion was John Keith Cabales. Recovered from their possession a
cash money worth two thousand six hundred eight pesos (Php 2,680,00), three (3)
packs assorted cigarettes, one (1) pc socket wrench handle and one (1) broken
scissor. Subject suspects were brought to Dipolog CPS while the minor was
turned-over to ZSWD Dipolog City for proper disposition. 5. Investigator on

Fire Incident
SINDANGAN - Request
be informed that, on or about 7:15 PM of October 6, 2016, team led by PI ISIDRO
J MALINAO, conducted security and control of the flow of traffic during the
fire incident transpired at Barangay Dapaon, Sindangan this municipality near
the National Highway more or less 7:00 o’ clock in the evening of October 6,
2016 wherein one (1) mixed occupancy (The 2nd floor is residential made of
wood, steel roofing and light materials and the 1st floor is a commercial
building made of concrete materials) owned and managed by Marcos Jugo, of legal
age, male and a resident of Barangay Dapaon, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte
wherein the 2nd floor of the said building was incidentally caught by fire.3.
Initial investigation conducted by Sindangan MPS together with the Sindangan
Bureau of Fire Protection personnel disclosed that, accordingly, the owner
Marcos Jugo cooked their food using a firewood at the dirty kitchen made of
light materials situated at the 2nd floor of the said building for their
dinner, and when he left his cooked food and rest for a while and after a few
minutes, he noticed that the portion of his dirty kitchen was incidentally
caught by fire that prompted him to go down of the building and asked for help
and after a minute, the firefighting team of BFP Sindangan arrived and
controlled the fire. The estimated cost of damages is worth Php 50, 000.00
pesos more or less and no reported casualty on the said incident.
OPERATIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORTS
Drug bust operation
DIPOLOG CITY - Please
be informed that at about 6:30PM of October 4, 2016, Intelligence Operatives/CAIDSOTF
of Dipolog CPS led by PSI ALEXIS M BAHUNSUA, thru the information received from
an informant, conducted drug buy-bust operation at Patangan Road, Mibang, Sta.
Filomena, Dipolog City and successfully arrested one Wilfredo Cuaresma y Apilan,
40 years old, married, a resident of above-mentioned place.
Confiscated/recovered from the possession and control of the suspect were;a.
nine (9) pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white
crystalline granules believed to be shabu, b. one (1) piece Five Hundred Peso
bill (Php.500.00) bearing SN GJ727868 as buy-bust money, Six Hundred Thirty
Pesos (Php 630.00) in different denominations believed to be proceeds money,c.
one (1) black leather wallet, d. one (1) unit color black OPPO Cellular phone
with gray and red combination rubber dumper, d. one (1) piece big empty
transparent plastic sachet served as container of the shabu and also to include the one (1) piece small size
heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules
believed to be shabu which was bought from the suspect during the actual
buy-bust operation as buy-bust evidence ande. one (1) unit Honda Wave 100
Motorcycle color red bearing plate number 8452 JH which was used by the
aforementioned suspect as transportation during the transaction. 3. Proper
inventory and markings of confiscated/seized items was done at Dipolog City
Police Station in the presence of the witnesses, Mr. Rosevelt D. Mondinido –
Media representative and Hon. Joseph Ryan Vergara –elected Barangay Official of
Sta. Isabel. 4. Suspect is now temporarily detained at Dipolog CPS pending
filing of appropriate charges in court while the confiscated drug items was
turned-over to Provincial Crime Laboratory, New Airport Drive, Minaog, Dipolog City
for laboratory examination/weighing while the non-drug items were deposited at
said station for proper disposition.
