Hacking Incident
LA LIBERTAD - Hacking
incident transpired at Barangay Sta. Catalina, La Libertad, Zamboanga Del Norte
at about 07:00 PM of March 30, 2017. The victims were identified as Ricky Gumanggad
Lamban, 40 years old and Bernabe Palma Gumati, 68 years old, both married and
all residents of said place. Suspect was identified as Victoriano Manlawe
Yekyek, 64 years old, widow, of same place. Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that prior to the incident, the suspect and the victims were having a
drinking session which resulted to a heated argument. Thereafter, the suspect
leaved the place but the victims followed him that prompted the suspect to get
a bolo (lagaraw) and subsequently hacked the victims several times hitting at
the different parts of their bodies. Both victims’ sustained hacked wounds and
were brought to municipal health office of said municipality for immediate
medication. Suspect was arrest by the responding PNP elements of La Libertad
MPS and was detained at said station for proper disposition.

Arrest of Wanted Person
KATIPUNAN - PNP personnel
of Katipunan MPS conducted manhunt operation at Barangay Loyuran, Katipunan,
Zamboanga Del Norte at about 8:30 AM of March 30, 2017. This resulted to the
arrest of Judicil Lecera Oching, 51 years old, female, widow and a resident in Purok
Nangka, Barangay Loyuran, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte. He was arrested by
virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Presiding Judge Alnaiza T. Hassiman-Jamud
Of 5th MCTC Of Katipunan-Sergio Osmeña Sr., 9th Judicial Region, Katipunan,
Zamboanga Del Norte for the crime of “grave oral defamation” dated march 20,
2017 docketed under cc#.: 011-17(k) with bail bond recommended amounting to six
thousand pesos (php 6,000.00). Arrested subject person is presently detained at
Katipunan MPS for proper disposition.
Arrest of Wanted Person
SINDANGAN - Elements of
Sindangan MPS conducted manhunt operation at Brgy Dicoyong, Sindangan,
Zamboanga Del Norte
at about 9:40 AM of
March 30, 2017. This resulted to the arrest of Wilbert Carbajal Sagaysay, 41 years old, male,
single, Filipino and a resident of abovementioned place. Subject person was arrested by virtue of
warrant of arrest issued by Presiding Judge Reymar L. Lacaya Of RTC Branch 11,
9th Judicial Region, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte for the crime of estafa
dated November 27, 2013 docketed under cc# s-4869 with bail bond recommended
amounting to sixteen thousand pesos (Php 16,000.00). Arrested subject person is
presently detained at Sindangan MPS for proper disposition.
