Stabbing Incident
DIPOLOG CITY - Stabbing
incident occurred at about 6:39 PM, March 27, 2017 at Purok Parpagayo, Lower
Dicayas, Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte. Wherein one Valentino Colata Cañete
was stabbed by Leonard Atun Cañezo, 19 years old, single, a resident of said
place. Victim sustained stab wounds on the different parts of his body causing
his death. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that prior to the
incident, the victim together with the father of the suspect Leo Brazil Cañezo,
42 years old, married, also resident of said place were having a drinking
spree. The suspect suddenly arrived and a heated argument ensued between them
and with no apparent reason the suspect stabbed the victim several times. Victim
was brought to Zamboanga Del Norte Medical Center but was pronounced dead-on-arrival
(DOA) by the attending physician. at around 10:30 pm of march 27, 2017, suspect
voluntarily surrendered at Dipolog CPS and now detained at said MPS.

DIPOLOG CITY - Personnel
of Dipolog City Police Station conducted manhunt operation at Sta. Isabel,
Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 9:30 AM of March 28, 2017. This resulted to the arrest of Ric
Vincent Duran Macatiguib, 31 years old, married, SCAA and a resident of Purok
Buli, Minaog, Dipolog City, for violation of section 5 (e) of R.A. 9262 docketed
under cc# 21471 issued by Hon. Rogelio D. Laquihon, Presiding Judge, Rtc Branch
7, Dipolog City Dated March 15, 2017 with a bail bond recommended amounted to
twelve thousand pesos (Php 12, 000.00). Thereafter, suspect was released after
having filed his cash bond amounting to twelve thousand (php 12, 000.00) pesos
for his temporary liberty as issued by Hon. Judge Rogelio D. Laquihon dated March
28, 2017.
Arrest of Wanted Person
SINDANGAN - Elements of
Sindangan MPS conducted manhunt operation at Brgy Bantayan, Sindangan,
Zamboanga Del Norte at about 9:00 AM of March 28, 2017. This resulted to the
arrest of Bernadeth Galleros Suerte, 29 years old, female, married, Filipino
and a resident of said place. Subject person has standing of warrant of arrest
issued by Victoriano D. Lacaya Jr., Acting Presiding Judge-9th Judicial Region,
Rtc Branch 6, Dipolog City Dated July 24, 2013. for the crime of estafa
docketed under cc# 18404 with bail bond recommended amounted to eighteen
thousand pesos (p 18,000.00). Subject person temporarily detained at Sindangan
MPS for proper disposition.

KATIPUNAN - PNP elements
of Katipunan MPS conducted manhunt operation at Brgy Sanao, Katipunan, Zamboanga
Del Norte
at about 1:30 PM of
March 28, 2017. This resulted to the arrest of Zaldy Indong Omag, 29 years old,
married a resident of said place. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest issued
by Hon. Alnaiza T. Hassisman-Jamud, Judge of 5th Mctc Katipunan-Sergio Osmena.
Sr, 9th Judicial Region, Katipunan Zamboanga Del Norte for the crime direct
assault docketed under cc# 012-17(k) with bail bond recommended in the amount
of twelve thousand pesos (12,000.00). Arrested subject person is presently
detained at Katipunan MPS for proper disposition.
