Abduction Incident
SIOCON - An abduction
incident transpired at Barangay Sta. Maria, Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte at
about 7:45 PM on march 3, 2017. The victims were identified as Jessica Barazon
Duterte, 52 years old, married, and his husband Jose Duterte, 62 years old,
farmer of copra, both residents of the above-mentioned place were forcibly
abducted by more or less seven (7) armed men wearing bonnet and police uniforms.
The suspects then fled off onboard motorized speed boat, color white heading to
undisclosed direction. immediately, PNP personnel of Siocon MPS led by Pci Joseph
Reales Maulad, with the members of 13th Special Platoon Company of Phil. Army proceeded
to the area and conducted hot pursuit operation to rescue the said victims and
possible arrest of the suspects. Adjacent municipal police stations near
coastal area were already informed on this Incident.
Commotion Incident
DIPOLOG CITY - Commotion incident transpired at Herrera St., Central,
Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 1:28 AM of March 3, 2017involving
the group of Ephrem Manopollo, 27 years
old, Jan Edward Murro, 17 years old, both residents of Banicapt, Galas, Dipolog
City with other unidentified companions and the group of BL Shane Per Margate,
20 years old, resident of Gen. Luna St., Central Barangay Dipolog City, Ej Alalom, 20 years old, single,
and Kevin Panlimotan, 19 years old, both residents of Dohinob, Roxas, Zamboanga
Del Norte.. Investigation disclosed that personnel of Dipolog CPS compose of Po2
Clint John Cuenca and Po2 Ronald C Wapelle, immediately responded on the said
place upon received of the said information. The two police officers introduced
their selves and tried to pacify the said commotion. However, BL Shane Per
Margate and Kevin Panlimotan, disobeyed them and attacked Po2 Klint John Cuenca
with a stones and steel pipe. Po2 Cuenca compelled to draw his service 9mm
pistol and made a warning shot towards the ground to defend himself but
unfortunately, the slug accidentally hit to BL Shane Per Margate at the cheek
and was brought to Zanorte Medical Center, Sicayab, Dipolog City for medical
treatment, while the other members fled away to an unknown direction. Investigator
on case of Dipolog CPS is now conducting thorough investigation to determine
the motive of the incident.

Rape Suspect Arrested
KATIPUNAN - Personnel
of Katipunan MPS conducted manhunt operation in Purok 3, Barangay Dr. Jose
Rizal, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 5:00 PM March 3, 2017. This resulted
in the arrest of Ronillo Vidal Aninon, 46 years old, married, resident of
above-mentioned place. Subject person was arrested by virtue of WOA issued by Hon.
Rogelio D Laquihon, Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 7,
Bulwagan Ng Katarungan, Dipolog City Dated February 27, 2017, docketed under
criminal case numbers 21431, 21432, 21433 and 21434 for the crime of acts of
lasciviousness under sec. 5 of R.A 7610, and criminal case numbers 21427,
21428, 21429 and 21430 for the crime of rape, with no bail recommended. Arrested
person is now temporarily detained at Katipunan MPS lock-up cell awaiting court
order.
Campaign against Illegal Cutting of Coconut Tress
PIÑAN - Operatives
of Piñan MPS and Liwa Claire Ventozillada Alesna, 26 years old, Philippine
Coconut Development Officer of Philippine Coconut Authority stationed at Piñan,
Zamboanga Del Norte conducted operation against an illegal cutting of coconut
trees at Barangay Lapu-Lapu, Piñan, Zamboanga Del Norte on March 3, 2017, at
about 7:15 AM. The team was able to recovered 5 logs of coconut trees and
coconut fitches with an estimated volume of 1,500 board feet, while
perpetrators are nowhere to be found. Investigation disclosed that the land was
owned by Carlo Jacinto, resident of Dapitan City, Zamboanga Del Norte and there
were 92 coconut trees were already cut in the said area. Recovered coconut
lumbers were turned-over to the office of PCA for custody and proper
disposition.
Arrest of Wanted Person
DAPITAN CITY - Operatives of Dapitan City Police Station conducted a
manhunt operation in Purok Nangka, Barangay Sulangon, Dapitan City, Zamboanga
Del Norte at about 7:40 PM of March 3, 2017. This resulted in the arrest of Lito
Icao Puyod Jr, 18 years old, single, resident of the above-mentioned place. Subject
person was arrested by virtue of WOA issued by Hon. Rogelio D. Laquihon,
Presiding Judge, Rtc, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 7, Dapitan City, Zamboanga
Del Norte Dated February 28, 2017, docketed under criminal case number 21247
for the crime of robbery, with bail bond recommended amounting to forty
thousand pesos (Php 40,000.00) for his temporary liberty. Arrested person is
now temporarily detained at Dapitan CPS lock-up cell awaiting court order.
