Shooting Incident
SIOCON - Shooting
incident transpired at Sitio Laklakan Barangay Bucana, Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte at around 10:25 AM of
December 5, 2016. Initial investigation disclosed that the victim identified as
one Epin Indanan Y Alvarez, 40 years old, married, male, fish vendor and a
resident of Barangay Bucana, Siocon. He sustained one (1) gunshot wound on his
right arm by an unknown caliber. According to the victim he identified the
suspect, a certain Said Musaddin who fled to unknown direction after the
incident. Further investigation disclosed that at around 10 AM of same date,
while the victim was driving his motorcycle upon reaching at the grassy portion
of the said place the suspect came out and drew his handgun and subsequently
shot the victim four (4) times. Motive of the incident was believed to be
personal grudge. Recovered from the crime scene were both slippers of victim
and the suspect. Siocon MPS is now conducting thorough investigation and
pursuit operation to arrest the suspect..
Rape Incident and Arrest of Suspect
SERGIO OSMEٴÑA - A 13-year old Grade VI pupil was allegedly raped by
her stepfather in the night of December 3, 2016 while they were sleeping at
their house in Purok Mars, Barangay Venus, Sergio Osmeña, Zamboanga Del Norte.
The victim was identified as Juname Duhaylungsod, 13 years old, Grade VI pupil,
a resident of above-said place. The suspect was her step-father named Sabas
Duhaylungsod Y Zamora, 40 years old, married, also resident of same place. Initial
investigation disclosed that the victim was repeatedly raped since 2013 when
she was at the age of ten (10) when her mother was working in Manila.
Accordingly, she was not able to resist because of fear as she was threatened
by the suspect that they together with her mother and brothers will be killed.
Subsequently, at about 6PM of December 5, 2016, the police brought the victim
to Sergio Osmeña Rural Health Unit for medical examination and the findings of
the attending physician, Dr. Maryrose Bugtal, MHO, Medical Specialist shows
that there was a fresh abrasion and laceration in her hymen. At around 7AM of
same date, personnel of Sergio Osmeña MPS conducted pursuit operation that
resulted to the arrest of the suspect at his residence and now temporarily
detained at Sergio Osmena MPS for filling of appropriate charges.

RIZAL - Police elements
of Rizal MPS successfully arrested one Francisco Sebua Y Calimutan, a
habal-habal driver, 36 years old, married and a resident of North Mapang, Rizal,
Zamboanga Del Norte at about 8:30AM of December 5, 2016. This is by virtue of
warrant of arrest dated October 14, 2016 issued by Judge Vittorio Dante D.
Dalman of MCTC Rizal-Sibutad docketed in Criminal Case No. 2865-R for the crime
of Slight Physical Injuries with bail amounting to Two Thousand Pesos
(P2,000.00). Subjected person was arrested at his residence and now detained at
Rizal MPS for proper disposition.

LILOY - Police elements
of Liloy MPS arrested one Arlin Pacaro Maquipotin, Female, 37 years old, married
and a resident of Barangay Lamao, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte at around 5:30PM
of December 05, 2016. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon
Judge Kathia C. Adasa Santiago of MCTC LILOY-TAMPILISAN 9th Judicial Region
Liloy, ZN for Grave and Oral Defamation docketed in CC # 2966 dated December 2,
2016 with bail bond recommended amounting to P6, 000.00 Pesos. Said person was
arrested at her residence in the above mentioned place and now temporarily
detained at Liloy MPS for proper disposition.
