Rape Incident
and Arrest of Suspect
KALAWIT - An alleged rape incident occurred at Barangay
Pianon, Kalawit, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 8:20 AM of November 30, 2017. The
victim was an 18 years old, a resident of said place. Accordingly, she was then
was asleep, when the two (2) suspects identified as Marvie Abrasaldo, 26 years
old, and Ronel Eldian, 27 years old all resident of same place suddenly
appeared inside their house while her live in partner identified as Angelito
Onotan Bation, 32 year old also resident of same place went to the nearest
store to buy a liquor. The two suspects take the opportunity wherein Marvie
Abrasaldo hold the victim’s hand then
cover the mouth of the victim and successfully rape the victim, while Ronel
Eldian, hold the victim’s foot and after took over and rape the victim. Upon
arrival of the victim’s husband, the two suspects immediately fled away towards
unknown direction. Operatives of Kalawit MPS conducted manhunt operation that
resulted to the arrest of Ronel P Eldian while manhunt operation is still
going-on for the arrest of the other suspect Marvie Abrasaldo. The arrested
suspect is now temporary detained at Kalawit MPS for filing of appropriate
charges in court.
Vehicular
Traffic Accident
DAPITAN CITY - Vehicular traffic accident
transpired along the National Highway of Brgy Polo, Dapitan City at about 3:00 PM of November 30, 2017 involving three (3) motor vehicle
resulting to double homicide and damage to property. The vehicles involved were
a black Honda beat motorcycle, bearing plate number 090110, driven Almar Louie
Bilbis Bulagao, 29 years old, single a resident of Brgy Sta. Cruz, Dapitan City
together with a magenta Honda beat motorcycle, bearing plate number 32903,
driven by Michael Amatong Bulagao, 49 years old, married a resident of Brgy
Sta. Cruz, Dapitan City and a white hino aluminum van, bearing plate number
pnh-491, driven by Wilfredo Jakosalem Canoy Jr, 28 years old, married a
resident of Brgy Balintawak, Pagadian City. Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that prior to the said incident, vehicle both black Honda beat
motorcycle and magenta Honda beat motorcycle, were running on same direction
from Poblacion Dapitan City going to Brgy Oyan, Dapitan City, while the white
hino aluminum van was running from Oroquita City bound to Dapitan City and upon
reaching at the place of accident, particularly at the curve portion of the
road near the Brgy Hall of Brgy Polo, Dapitan City, both Honda beat motorcycles
was accidentally bumped into the white hino aluminum van. The both Honda beat
motorcycles, were ran over and dragged underneath the white hino aluminum van.
Both drivers of Honda beat motorcycles died on the spot. the dead body of the
two drivers were brought to Gamalinda Funeral Homes for proper disposition
while the driver of white hino aluminum van, was temporarily detained at
Dapitan CPS pending filing of appropriate charged in court. The three vehicles
were brought to Dapitan CPS for proper disposition.
