Anti-Illegal Logging Operation
TAMPILISAN
- On April 01, 2018 at about 4:40 PM, personnel of Tampilisan MPS together with
personnel of DENR CENRO Liloy conducted Anti-Illegal Logging operation at Brgy
Tininggaan, Tampilisan, ZDN and successfully recovered 87 assorted flitches of
Apitong and Tobongon tree with estimated volume of 1,053.98 bd. ft. and
estimated amount of Php63, 238.80. Subject forest products were illegally cut
and abandoned by unidentified illegal loggers. Recovered items were turned-over
and brought to DENR CENRO Liloy for proper disposition. Personnel Tampilisan
MPS are still conducting follow-up investigation for the identity and possible
arrest of the suspect/s. IOC-SPO2 Nilo Dagupan Paipa with CP no. 0935-

Recovery of 60 MM Mortar Round
DIPOLOG
CITY - On April 01, 2018 at about 3:40 PM, Dipolog CPS received a report from a
concerned citizen that there was an explosive device recovered at Governor’s
Village, Brgy Estaka, Dipolog City. Immediately, PNP personnel of Dipolog CPS
responded to verify the veracity of said report and saw one (1) unit 60 mm
Mortar round beside the road. Initial Investigation disclosed that said mortar
ammunition was recovered at the vacant rice field located at Governor’s
Village, Estaka, Dipolog City by Ryan Luminas Tumagna, 16 years old and a
resident of Purok One Heart, Sta. Isabel, Dipolog City. Accordingly, at around
3:30 PM of April 1, 2018, Ryan Tumagna went to the above-mentioned place
together with his companion alias Tadoy, alias Jemar and alias Neil Bryan in
order to catch mud fish and Tilapia. On the height of their fishing, he
accidentally touched a plastic cellophane under the muddy water and when he
lift it up he noticed that the white plastic cellophane containing the 60MM
Mortar round which he put the same at the shoulder of the road and informed the
residence of what he has seen. The Mortar round with markings “60M, COMP 6,
CRTG M53, LOT P-105-78” now in the custody of P03 Paghacian for safekeeping
prior turn-over to EOD.
