OF APRIL 19, 2018 PERSONNEL OF ZAMBOANGA CITY POLICE STATION 2 TOGETHER 6TH
SPECIAL FORCES BATTALION CONDUCTED POLICE
OPERATION AGAINST LAWLESS ELEMENTS (GROUP OF ISABELO Z TARROZA AKA SONNY BOY
TARROZA) AT SITIO GULIT, BRGY LAKIKI, SIBUCO, ZAMBO NORTE WHICH RESULTED TO A
FIREFIGHT UPON SENSING THE PRESENCE OF GOVT. TROOPS. AS A RESULT 2 WERE KILLED
ON ENEMY SIDE IDENTIFIED AS ISABELO TARROZA AND ALEXANDRO R DELOS REYES, AND 1
ARRESTED- WOUNDED IDENTIFIED AS NASER DE LEON. RECOVERED FROM THEIR POSSESSION
WERE ONE (1) UNIT M1 GARAND RIFLE, TWO (2)
IMPROVISED SHOTGUN, ONE (1) UNIT KG9, TWO (2) RIFLE GRENADE AND DIFF.
KINDS OF MAGAZINE AND AMMUNITION. HIS WIFE CLAIMED THE CADAVER OF ALEXANDRO
DELOS REYES, WHILE THE CADAVER OF SONNY BOY TAROZA WAS BROUGHT TO QUINIPUT
HOSPITAL TOGETHER WITH NASER DE LEON (WOUNDED). TROOPS RETURNED TO ZAMBOANGA
CITY POLICE STATION 2 AT AROUND 4:30 PM OF SAME DATE.

INCIDENT IN SALUG
ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE - AT ABOUT 5:30
AM OF APRIL 19, 2018, SALUG MPS WAS RECEIVED A CELL PHONE CALL FROM MR. EFREN
DAWAL, 32 YEARS OLD, A RESIDENT OF BRGY. POBLACION, SALUG, ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE
AND REPORTED THAT A FIRE BROKE OUT AT PABES PENSION HOUSE OWNED BY MR. AND MRS.
ALVIN R. PABES LOCATED AT POBLACION, SALUG, ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE NEAR SALUG
PUBLIC MARKET. SAID INFORMANT SUBSEQUENTLY CALLED THE SALUG BFP SUPPRESSION
TEAM HEADED BY F/INSP ELPEDIO C BACHILLER, FIRE GROUND COMMANDER TOGETHER WITH
PNP PERSONNEL OF SALUG MPS IMMEDIATELY WENT TO THE PLACE OF INCIDENT. UPON
ARRIVAL AT THE SCENE, FIRE IS IN PROGRESS, AND CONFINEMENT OPERATION WAS
INSTITUTED TO AVOID THE SPREAD OF FIRE TO OTHER ADJACENT AREA.AT AROUND 6:00 AM
OF THE SAME DATE, THE FIRE GROUND COMMANDER DECLARED FIRE OUT. INSPECTION
CONDUCTED BY THE ARSON PROBERS OF THE BUREAU OF FIRE PROTECTION DETERMINED THE
POSSIBILITY THAT THE FIRE STARTED AT ROOM FOURTEEN (14) WHICH IS LOCATED ALMOST
AT THE CENTER OF THE SECOND FLOOR OF SAME BUILDING. UPON ASSESSMENT OF THE
RESPONDING FIREFIGHTING MEN, NO PERSON IS INJURED OR CASUALTIES/FATALITIES
DURING THE FIREFIGHTING OPERATION AND THE ESTIMATED AGGREGATE DAMAGED OF
BUILDING ARE AMOUNTING TO MORE OR LESS FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS
(₱500,000.00).

11:25 AM OF APRIL 19, 2018, JOINT PNP PERSONNEL OF DIPOLOG CPS CONDUCTED
MANHUNT OPERATION AT SOUTH CURVADA, GALAS, DIPOLOG CITY, ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE.
THE OPERATION RESULTED TO THE ARREST OF VAL DUGENIA BASTASA, 55 YEARS OLD,
MARRIED, A DRIVER AND A RESIDENT OF SOUTH CURVADA, GALAS, DIPOLOG CITY, ZDN. BY
VIRTUE OF WARRANT OF ARREST FOR THE OFFENSE OF RAPE (TWO COUNTS) DOCKETED UNDER
CRIMINAL CASE NUMBER 22350-22351 WITH NO BAIL BOND RECOMMENDED. THE WARRANT OF
ARREST ISSUED AND SIGNED BY HONORABLE JUDGE ROGELIO D. LAQUIHON, PRESIDING
JUDGE OF RTC BRANCH 7, 9TH JUDICIAL REGION, DIPOLOG CITY DATED APRIL 10, 2018.
SUBJECT PERSON IS NOW TEMPORARILY UNDER THE CUSTODY OF DIPOLOG CPS PENDING
COMMITMENT TO COURT.

ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE - AT ABOUT 2:00
PM OF APRIL 19, 2018, MDET OF LILOY MPS RECEIVED A REPORT FROM THEIR
CONFIDENTIAL AGENT THAT THERE WAS A TRANSACTION OF ILLEGAL DRUGS AT PUROK 1,
BRGY. TAPICAN, LILOY, ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE. IMMEDIATELY MDET PERSONNEL OF LILOY
MPS LED BY PO3 MICHAEL EMPERIO SU LEFT SAID STATION ON BOARD THEIR OWN
MOTORCYCLE PURPOSELY TO CONDUCT BUY BUST OPERATION AT THE AFOREMENTIONED PLACE.
AT ABOUT 2:00 PM OF SAME DATE SAID OPERATION GAINED POSITIVE RESULT WHICH LED
TO THE ARREST OF REY CHICO HANIO, (PUSHER), SINGLE, 19 YEARS OLD AND RESIDENT
OF PUROK 1, BARANGAY TAPICAN, LILOY, ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE. EVIDENCE RECOVERED
FROM HIS POSSESSION AND CONTROL WERE TWO (2) PCS SMALL SACHETS OF SUSPECTED
SHABU (BUY BUST ITEM), ONE (1) PC SMALL SACHET OF SUSPECTED SHABU (RECOVERED
ITEM) AND THREE (3) PCS ONE HUNDRED PESO BILL BEARING SERIAL NOS. DH846157,
DH846159 AND DK058951 AS MARKED MONEY, THIRTY (30) PESOS PROCEEDS MONEY AND ONE
(1) UNIT MAXX CELLULAR PHONE WITH HEAD SET COLOR WHITE AND GRAY. HON. JULITA G.
BANDICO BARANGAY CAPTAIN OF SAID BARANGAY AND HON. NESTOR C. INSONG BARANGAY
COUNCILOR OF SAID BARANGAY WITNESSED THE INVENTORY OF SEIZED ILLEGAL DRUGS
ITEMS. ARRESTED SUSPECT WAS DULY INFORMED OF HIS CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS AND THE
ANTI-TORTURE LAW AND WAS BROUGHT TO LILOY INTEGRATED HEALTH DISTRICT HOSPITAL
FOR MEDICAL EXAMINATION.
