Arrested in Pot Session
On or about 4:45 PM of April 12,
2018, an alleged pot session and illegal drug transaction has taking place at
the garage of Dindo Bus Transit Situated at Brgy. Poblacion Siocon Zamboanga
Del Norte particularly at the back seat of Dindo bus bearing plate no. 091203
who is that time was parking at said garage for minor repair. Operatives of Siocon
MPS conducted police operation at said aforementioned place and successfully
arrested suspect identified as Nilo Cabandez Retes, 44 years old (February 7,
1974), inspector of said mentioned bus, married and a resident of Brgy. Linay,
Manukan, and Abdulgan Taupan Bari, 39 years old (august 5, 1978), dispatcher of
said bus line, married and a resident of Brgy. S. Arabi Of Manukan, who were
caught in flagrante while sniffing “shabu”. Evidence recovered/seized by the
team and found at the scene are one (1) piece small heat sealed transparent
plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be “shabu”,
one (1) piece small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white
crystalline granules believed to be “shabu”, one (1) piece color yellow
disposable lighter tipped with tiny rolled strip foil with trademark LCC quality
used as improvised burner, two (2) pieces rolled aluminum strip foil used as
improvised tooter, four (4) pieces cut/rolled alleged used/ burned aluminum tin
foils, one (1) piece small pack of transparent cut open heat-sealed plastic
sachet with peanuts inside and impounded to one (1) unit truck with plate no.
091203, Isuzu (bus) registered to the owner Cirilo Dumasapal with engine no.
6bg1232528 and chassis no. cado31949. The above confiscated will be turned over
to Zamboanga Sibugay Police Crime Laboratory, while the arrested suspects were
brought to Siocon District Hospital for medical and physical examination, and
proper disposition.

Zamboanga Del Norte - Operatives of
Roxas MPS conducted manhunt operation at Purok Tubo, Barangay Lower Irasan,
Pres. Manuel A. Roxas, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 12:15 PM of April 12, 2018.
This resulted in the arrest of Erwin Talondong Bajar Aka “Boboy”, allegedly 16
years old, single and a resident of Purok Tubo, Barangay Lower Irasan, Roxas
Municipality. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Rogelio D.
Laquihon, Presiding Judge, RTC9 Branch 7, Dipolog City dated march 23, 2018 for
the crime of rape docketed under criminal case nr. 22353 with recommended bail
bond of php.120, 000.00 for his temporary liberty. Subject person is now
temporary detained at Roxas MPS for proper disposition.

Ex-Sanggunian Members Arrested for Violation of Article 218
Zamboanga Del Norte - PNP personnel
of la Libertad MPS in coordination with Piñan MPS, conducted manhunt operation
at Barangay Poblacion, Piñan, Zamboanga
Del Norte at about 2:20 PM of April 12, 2018. This resulted in the arrest of
two (2) former Sanguniang Barangay members of La Libertad Municipality
identified as Jerome Haictin Sulit, 37 years old, married, and a resident of
Barangay Poblacion, La Libertad, Zamboanga Del Norte. This is by virtue of
warrant of arrest docketed in criminal case no. l-3207 and Efren Mananaong
Esic, 47 years old, married, and a resident of Barangay Mercedes, La Libertad,
Zamboanga Del Norte by virtue of warrant of arrest docketed in criminal case
no. l-3208 for the offense of Violation Of Article 218 of the Revised Penal
Code respectively, which was issued by hon Vittorio Dante D. Dalman,
Acting Judge, 2nd MCTC Of Piñan-La
Libertad, Ninth Judicial Region, Branch 001, Piñan, Zamboanga Del Norte.
Arrested wanted persons were able to post the prescribed bail for their temporary
liberty fixed in the amount of Six Thousand (P6, 000.00) pesos each and right
there and then, they were immediately released from the custody of La Libertad
MPS per released order dated April 12, 2018 issued by Hon Vittorio Dante D.
