Accident in La Libertad
Be
informed that on or about 12:45 PM of April 15, 2018 one GILBERT SULIT y
Piaton, 40 yrs old, married and a resident of Poblacion, La Libertad, ZN and a
line man of Zamboanga del Norte Electric Cooperative (ZANECO). He came and
reported to La Libertad MPS an alleged that his companion who are also employees
of ZANECO riding their service vehicle Jeep color blue with plate number GMC–571,
were accidentally fell on the riverbank of Brgy. Sta. Catalina, La Libertad,
ZN. To verify the veracity of the report, PNP team of La Libertad MPS
immediately went to the aforementioned place and during the ocular inspection
conducted it revealed that while travelling along the riverside of said
Barangay and after passing Dapitan River of Brgy. Sta. Catalina. While on its
way to pass at the portion of the road which is under construction particularly
at the ascending curved portion and when the driver was applying changed gear
to primary suddenly it was malfunctioned. When he applied for a brake, it was
also failed causing to lose control his driven Jeep which eventually made the
vehicle to move backward and fell down into the riverbank of said place causing
the driver and his two companion to sustained multiple physical injuries and
rushed to ZANORTE Medical Center for immediate treatment. Lately the persons
involved identified namely: Jude Jumawan, married, 41 years old, resident of
Brgy. Lingasad, Polanco, ZN-driver, Linson Cordova, single, 31 years old,
resident of Brgy. Piyan, Polanco, ZN-rider and Leonard Baje, married, 33 years
old, resident of Brgy. Aseňero, Dapitan City. This incident happened at more or
less 9:45 o’clock in the morning of same date. For information.
Report
on Implementation of COMELEC Gun Ban
Be
informed that on or about 5:00 o’clock in the afternoon of April 15, 2018, PNP
personnel of Dipolog CPS led by PCI VERGIL BRUCE D DARIO – Deputy Chief of
Police, conducted checkpoint operation at Gulayon Outpost, Gulayon, Dipolog
City in accordance to COMELEC resolution number 10198. During the said
checkpoint, PO3 Sandee Mañada and SPO1 Bond James, flagged down a motorist who
is not wearing a helmet in civilian attire and riding a Honda XRM motorcycle
color black bearing Plate Number JA39056 and with Hershel sling bag color brown
on his body. Upon interview, said motorist identified himself as PETER ANDALOY
y Gumabil, 33 years old, male, married, a resident of Purok Gulapa, Carupay,
Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte and a Security Guard of WEDGE WOOD Security
Agency. When asked if what is inside his bag, he voluntarily answered that he
is carrying firearm inside his sling bag because he is on his way to his assign
post. He was then requested by SPO1 James to open his sling bag which he
voluntarily open and SPO1 James and PO3 Mañada saw a Caliber 38 revolver inside
the sling bag Upon verification, Peter Andaloy failed to present necessary
documents to possess the said firearm. He was arrested by the PNP personnel and
informed of his constitutional rights as an arrested person. The said caliber
38 Revolver with Serial Number 06113504 loaded with four (4) live ammunitions
was confiscated together with his driven motorcycle. PO3 James further issued
Citation Ticket with Ticket Number 06488 for his initial violation of not
wearing helmet and further brought to Dipolog CPS where the suspect is now
temporarily detained pending filing appropriate charges in court, while the
suspect’s driven motorcycle is now impounded at this office for proper

Hacking Incident in Dapitan City
Be
informed that on 0r about 5:00 PM of April 15, 2018, hacking incident
transpired at Purok Nangka, Brgy. Ba-ao, Dapitan City, wherein the victim
Gellermo De Jesus Aljas, 36 years old, male, single and a resident of Purok
Nangka, Brgy. Ba-ao, Dapitan City. He was hacked several times with the use of
a bolo hitting on the different parts of his body that cause his instantaneous
death by the suspect JIMMY TUYAC OBNIMAGA, 25 years old, male, single and a
resident of Brgy. Oyan, Sibutad, Zamboanga del Norte. The suspect was arrested
and temporary detained at Dapitan CPS for proper disposition. For information.
