Hacking Incident in Sirawai
On or about 3:30 PM of April 14,
2018. A hacking incident transpired at Brgy. Pulang Lupa, Sirawai, Zamboanga
Del Norte. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that that victim
identified as Saidemar Callon Wahid, 11 years old, single and resident of the
above mention place was hacked by suspect identified as Asgal Kalas Ontong, 34
years old, married, resident of Brgy. Libucon Sirawai. The victim sustained
hacked wounds on his neck that resulted to his death. Accordingly, other
victims were also hacked by the suspect. The Sirawai MPS still conducting
follow-up operation in order to identify the identity of the other victims.
Meanwhile, during the follow-up operation at the above-mentioned place, the
responding Sirawai MPS shot the alleged suspect after he attacked the
responding police and resist the arrest. The 34- year old suspect, who was allegedly
under the influence of drugs when he attacked the five victims, died on the
spot. The cadaver was later brought to the immediate family. The investigator

Thievery Incident Suspect, Killed
in Dapitan City
Thievery suspect was killed inside
the farm of Jay Sumalpong, located at Brgy. Sinonoc, Dapitan City. Immediately
personnel of dapitan cps responded to the report. Upon arrival at the scene,
the responding team found a male person identified as Jayson Magtuba Calunod,
19 years old, male, single and a resident of Brgy. Sinonoc, Dapitan City was
lying lifeless inside the said farm. Initial investigation conducted that at
about 1:00 AM of April 14, 2018, the said person entered the said farm and
carted away game fowl and a hen. However, caretakers identified only as Jayson
Alyas “Bandam” and a certain “Aryong” caught him in the act and shot him once
which caused his instantaneous death. Recovered from the crime scene are one
(1) pc spent shell of 12 gauge ammo and pc sack containing one (1) game fowl
and one hen. The caretakers immediately fled away after the incident bringing
the firearm used. Personnel of Dapitan City Police now conducted follow-up
investigation to locate and arrest the suspects.
Rape Incident in Sibutad
On or about 8:00 PM of April 13,
2018. An alleged rape incident at Purok
4, Magsaysay, Sibutad, Zamboanga Del Norte. The victim was a 15 years old, single and a
resident of Purok 4, Magsaysay, Sibutad. She was having a drinking session with
friends together with the suspect identified as Philip Guillena Evangelio, 16
years old, single a resident of Barangay. Napilan Rizal. After which, the
suspect brought the victim to the abandoned house of a certain Monding Anggot,
located at the same place and thereat, sexually molested the victim. Suspect was arrested by the responding team
while the victim was brought to Sibutad Municipal Hospital for medical
examination.
Vehicular Accident in Sergio Osmena
On or about 5:20 PM of April 14,
2018. A vehicular accident transpired at the National Highway of Barangay
Poblacion Bajo, Sergio Osmena, Zamboanga Del Norte. A drop side utility vehicle
color white with red combination bearing plate number JCU 866, driven by
Abelardo Corita Duran, male, 43 years old, married, and a resident of Brgy
Domagoc, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur loaded with passengers while
travelling from Butanas Swimming Pool located at Brgy Sinai, Sergio Osmeña,
Zamboanga Del Norte going back to Pagadian
City, Zamboanga Del Sur. Upon reaching at the curve portion of the national
highway of Brgy Poblacion Bajo Sergio Osmena, the driver accidentally bumped
unto the side railings/barrier of the road which resulted the vehicle
overturned and fall at the cliff area the driver and eleven (11) passengers
suffered injuries on the different parts of their bodies and was immediately
brought to Sergio Osmena Municipal Hospital for immediate medication while Cesar
Uno was pronounced dead on-arrival (DOA) by the attending physician. The said
vehicle was still at the accident area. The investigator is Po2 Elbert

RA 7610 Violator Arrested in
Sibutan
Joint element of Sindangan MPS, Operatives
of Zamboanga Del Norte PPO and 901st RMFB9 conducted manhunt operation at
Libay, Sibutad, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 7:00 PM of April 14, 2018. This resulted
to the arrest of Ricky Ruiz Cruda, 48 years old, male, married, a resident of
Barangay Bantayan, Sindangan, for the crime of rape in relation to R.A. 7610
docketed under Criminal Case Number s-5382 to s-5384 issued by Hon Reymar L
Lacaya Presiding Judge RTC 9 Branch 11, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte. With no
bail bond recommended. The arrested subject person is presently detained at said
police station waiting for his commitment order.
