Shooting Incident and Arrest of
Suspect in Sindangang
An alleged shooting incident
transpired at Barangay Tinaplan, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 8:00 PM of April 18, 2018. Initial investigation
disclosed that dead victim was identified as Garry Mandawan Andayan, 27 years
old, male, married, filipino, civilian while the other unharmed victim also
identified as Bernabe Banugon Agom, 37 years old, male, filipino, married and
both residents of Sitio Lingkunan, Tinaplan, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte.
Accordingly, prior to the incident the victims together with their respective
wife identified as Junita Andayan Agom, 32 years old, female, filipino and
Marissa Andayan were walking at the narrow road from Tinaplan Proper bound to
their house. Upon reaching at the place of incident, the group of suspects
identified as Rufino Banugon Agom, 47 years old, married, male, filipino,
Consil Malig-On Agom, 67 years old, male, married, Rudy Mandawan Agom, 20 years
old, mael, single, Jessie Mandawan Agom, 16 years old, male, single, all farmer
and a resident of Sitio Lingkunan, Tinaplan, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte. The
group suddenly appeared and waylaid the victims all armed with unidentified
three (3) long firearms carried by (Rufino Agom, Rudy Agom And Jessie Agom) and
one (1) unidentified short firearm carried also by (Consil Agom). Without any
apparent reasons, one of the suspect named Rufino Agom shoot the victim Garry Andayan
while walking ahead of his companions hitting on the different parts of his
body causing his death. Thereafter, the companion of the victim Bernabe Agom
quickly help the victim but there. The above-mentioned suspects conspiring and
confederating each other aimed and shot their respective firearms to Bernabe Agom
but unfortunately, the suspects’ respective firearms malfunctions and did not
fire. Right after the incident, the group of suspects immediately left at the
place of incident. A manhunt operation conducted by the responding PNP Sindangan
and 20th Special Forces personnel to the place of incident that resulted in the
arrest two (2) suspects identified as Consil Agom and Jessie Agom at about 6:00
AM of April 18, 2018 particularly at the house of Rufino Agom. arrested suspect
Consil Agom now detained at Sindangan mps detention cell while Jessie Agom
(minor suspect) was turn-over to the WCPS duty investigator after the medical
check-up pending for filing of appropriate charges against them. The
investigator is Po2 Ramil S Tequil with contact number 09092412823.
RA 7610 Violator Arrested in Siayan
PNP personnel of Siayan MPS
conducted manhunt operation at Sitio Hillside, Barangay Poblacion, Siayan,
Zamboanga Del Norte at about 8:40 AM of April 18, 2018. This resulted in the
arrest of Remelyn Villacampa Bontigao, 43 years old, storekeeper at pepoy’s
bakeshop, married, a local resident at Brgy. Muñoz, Siayan Zamboanga Del Norte.
This is by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Reymar L. Lacaya, Presiding Judge Rtc Branch
11, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte for Violation Of Sec 10(a) of RA 7610
docketed in Criminal Case Number s-5720 with recommended bailbond of 80,000.00
for his temporarily liberty. suspect was brought to siayan diagnostic center
for medical/physical check-up and now temporarily detained at Siayan Municipal
Police Station for proper disposition.
Arrest of Wanted Person in Segio Osmiña
PNP personnel of Sergio Osmena MPS
together with personnel of CIDG and personnel of Zamboangaq Del Norte PPO jointly
conducted law enforcement operation (service of warrant) at Barangay Poblacion
Alto, Sergio Osmeña, Zamboanga Del Norte at
about 10:00 PM of of April 17, 2018. The operation resulted in the arrest of
Oscar Tagab Reporiol, 32 year old, male, single and a resident of Barangay
Bagong Baguio, Sergio Osmena, Zamboanga Del Norte. He was arrested by virtue of
warrant of arrest for violation of section 10 (a) of R.A 7610 docketed under
Criminal Case Number 22345 signed and issued on April 10, 2018 by Hon. Rogelio
D. Laquihon, Presiding Judge, RTC 9 Ninth Judicial Region, Branch 7 Dipolog
City with recommended bail amounting to
eighty thousand pesos (php 80,000.00). Subject person is now temporarily
detained at Sergio Osmena MPS for proper disposition.
Driver Arrested for Violation of RA

Intel operatives of Dipolog City
Police Station conducted manhunt operation at Block 1, Madison Subdivision,
Dicayas, Dipolog City
at about 10:20 AM of April 18, 2018.
This resulted in the arrest of Ruel Sumalpong Rael, married, 40 years old, a
driver and a resident of Block 1, Madison Subdivision, Dicayas, Dipolog City.
This is by virtue of warrant of arrest for Grave Threat in relation to RA 10591
with bail bond recommended to one hundred twenty thousand pesos (P120, 000.00)
for his temporary liberty, issued and signed by Honorable Judge Ric S. Bastasa,
Presiding Judge Of RTC Branch 2, 9th Judicial Region, Dipolog City Dated April
16, 2018. Subject person is now temporary detained at Dipolog CPS for proper
disposition.
