Stabbing
Incident in Dipolog City
On June 08, 2018 at about 1:15 PM, stabbing
incident transpired at Sitio Banicapt, Brgy Galas, Dipolog City, particularly
at Andreas Pension House.
The police investigator identified the
victim as Ronnie Sumatra Mirasol, 50 years old, male, single, a resident of
Purok Malayan II, Sta. Filomena, Dipolog City. Unidentified suspect stabbed him.
Investigation conducted disclosed that
the victim and suspect entering the pension house, the suspect went out the
room with the used the victims Honda beat motorcycle and failed to return
prompted the house attendant Gina A Guindoy to knock the door after suspected
that something happened.
When the door is open, they discovered
the victim lying on the floor bathed his own blood and sustained stabbed wound.
The victim was declared dead on the spot by Dr. Rowel Mata MD, Chief, City
Health Officer.
The SOCO team of Zamboanga Del Norte
Provincial Crime Lab Office processed the crime scene and recovered the kitchen
knife used by the suspect.
The cadaver lies at St. Peter Funeral
Homes Estaka, Dipolog City.

still conducting follow-up investigation to identify and possible arrest of the

Wanted
Person Nabbed in Manukan
On June 08, 2018 at about 5:30 PM,.
Personnel of Manukan Municipal Police Station (MPS) conducted manhunt operation
At Sitio Tiltilan, Brgy. East Poblacion, Manukan, Zamboanga Del Norte.
This resulted to the arrest of Noel S.
Dagaya, male, 27 years old, and resident of Sitio Tiltilan, Brgy. East
Poblacion, Manukan.
The arrested person has standing
warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Judge Veronica C. Dg-Laput, MTC, Manukan,
Zamboanga del Norte, for the crime of Direct Assault upon an Agent of a person
in Authority, under Criminal Case No: 3209 dated February 23, 2015 with bail
bond recommended amounted to six thousand pesos (Php 6,000).
The arrested subject person is now
under the custody of Manukan MPS for proper disposition. (By JONG CADION)

9262 Violator Arrested in Polanco
On June 08, 2018 at about 9:05 AM, Personnel
of Polanco Municipal Police Station (MPS) arrested a wanted person at Poblacion
North, Polanco, Zamboanga Del Norte for violation of R.A. 9262 otherwise known
as Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004.
The arrested identified as Alex Lacay
Empeynado, 49 years old, married, teacher, resident of Barangay San Antonio,
Polanco, Zamboanga Del Norte.
The accused was held by virtue of
warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Rogelio D. Laquihon-Presiding Judge of RTC 9th
Judicial Region Branch 7 of Dipolog City dated June 5, 2018 for “Violation of
Sec. 5(i) of R.A. 9262” docketed under Criminal Case number 22489 with bailbond
recommended amounted to twenty four thousand (Php 24,000.00) pesos.
After putting
sufficient cash bond the accused was released from the custody of Polanco MPS. (By
