Fishing
vessel intercepted for Illegal Fishing
SIOCON,
Zamboanga del Norte (JUNE 23, 2018) – PNP
personnel of Siocon Municipal Police Station (MPS) and 905th Regional
Mobile Force Battalion together with Municipal Fisheries Officer and Hamjan M.
Abdurahman, Bantay Dagat member conducted anti-illegal fishing operation at the
Municipal Seawater of Siocon Zamboanga Del Norte particularly at Barangay Sta.
Maria on about 8:00 AM of June 21, 2018.
Investigator on Case SPO3 Jose Jessie
Danieles Cariño said that the operation was successfully intercepted one
fishing vessel caught in the act fishing inside the exclusive municipal waters
of Siocon municipality.
Said fishing vessel identified as MF/V Vhinjemel,
with white and blue color combination, with two engines of 10 HP each and
operated by Nestor Duran Tongco, 54 years old together with his son Arnesto
Vergara Tongco, 25 years old, and both residents of Barangay Mampang, Zamboanga
City, SPO3 Cariño disclosed.
Cariño said, the fishing vessel with
the crew and catch tuna fish are now in custody of the Municipal Fisheries
Office of Siocon for proper disposition.
Dead
Body Discovered
LILOY,
Zamboanga del Norte (June 23, 2018) - On
or about 4:20 PM of June 21, 2018, Liloy Municipal Police Station (MPS)
received a report from personnel of LDRRMO Liloy that there was a dead body
discovered at Brgy Dela Paz, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte.
Initial investigation conducted disclosed
that the victim identified as Felizardo Banluta Tipacia, 35 years old was
sleeping inside his room and at around 3:00pm of same date, he was discovered
by his brother Jomar Tipacia that is no longer breathing.
PO2 Jo-an Utong, investigator on Case said
the victim was brought by the responding team to Liloy Integrated Health
District Hospital, but was declared dead on arrival by the attending Physician
Dra Juvyliza Asentista.
Investigator on case is now requesting autopsy
examination to determine the cause of death of the victim.
Alleged
Swindling Incident
DIPOLOG
CITY (June 23, 2018) – On or about
11:00 AM of June 21, 2018 One Frechy
Mosquida Mapa, 25 years old, female, single and a resident of Barangay Dicayas,
Dipolog City together with other victims came to Dapitan City Police Station
that allegedly victim of swindling in
the amount of Php4-million pesos.
Investigator on case PO2 Rolan Apilias
Decipulo identified the suspect as certain Kyla Pauline Riconalla, 24 years
old, female, single and temporarily residing at Barangay Banonong, Dapitan City
allegedly swindled money from the victim approximately amounting to four
million (Php 4,000,000.00) pesos.
Upon verification by the police, the
said person is nowhere to be found. While conducting investigation on the said
report, a concerned citizen informed Dapitan CPS that other victims rushed to
Paula’s Desserts and Catering Services owned by the alleged suspect situated at
Barangay Bagting, Dapitan City and took the appliances and other belongings
from the said establishment, PO2 Decipulo said.
Personnel of Dapitan CPS immediately
responded and safe keep the remaining properties of said establishment.
Further, the said properties were properly documented and brought to Dapitan
CPS for proper disposition.
Further operation/investigation is
still conducted for the arrest of the suspect.
