Report
on Violation of RA10591 in Sirawai
On June 06, 2018 at about 2:50 PM, PNP
personnel of Sirawai MPS together with 905th RMFB conducted checkpoint along
brgy Bitugan, National Highway, Sirawai, Zamboanga del Norte.
The checkpoint intercepted Adjid
Abondol Sariol, 32 years old, married, farmer, and a resident of barangay
Panabutan, Sirawai who was caught on the act carrying FA while riding his Red
Honda Motorcycle without plate number attached.
Confiscated from his possession were
(1) unit Cal .45, colt bearing serial number 124451 and one (1) magazine loaded
with six (6) live ammos.
Suspect was brought to Sirawai MPS for
proper disposition.
Campaign
against Illegal Logging in Siocon
On June 06, 2018 at about 11:25 AM, community-based
information received by Siocon MPS thru cellular phone call that an illegal
logging activities transpired at Sitio Sicanan, Brgy.
Latabon Siocon Immediately personnel of
Siocon MPS, in coordination with personnel from CENRO-Siocon, DENR-IX led by
Alim Milaham Forest Ranger, responded to the area to verify the veracity of
report.
Upon arrival the responding team
recovered abandoned One hundred fourteen (114) pieces illegally cut lumber of
endangered species of “White Lauan, Nato and Loktob” in different dimension
with estimated volume of 1,214 Board feet with estimated total local market
value of ₱ 30,350.
Recovered items were turned over to the
DENR CENRO-Siocon, for proper disposition thereat.
