Incident
LILOY,
Zamboanga del Norte (June 21m 2018) - Hacking incident
occurred at Barangay Timan, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 10:00 AM of June 19, 2018.
The victim was already brought to Liloy
Health District Hospital when the responding Liloy MPS arrived.
Meanwhile, the suspect was waiting for
the Police authorities and voluntarily surrender himself including his weapon
used (sharp bolo) to the responding PNP personnel.
Initial investigation conducted by the
responding team disclosed that at about 9:50 AM of same date the victim
identified as Jose Dimagnaong Quezon, male, Filipino, married, 64 years old,
farmer and a resident of Barangay Timan, Liloy (younger brother of the suspect)
and the suspect identified as Marcelo Dimagnaong Quezon, male, Filipino,
married, 66 years old, farmer and a resident of same place.
Further investigation revealed that
both brothers were having a heated argument regarding to their common property
which is bamboo farm located at said place when the victim told to his older
brother (suspect) to stop to harvest/cutting of their bamboos.
But instead, His older brother
(Suspect) got angry and hacked the victim once with the used of sharp bolo
hitting on the victims left knee which resulted to sustained laceration wound
on his left knee.
The suspect was properly informed of
his constitutional rights. He was brought to Liloy Health District Hospital for
medical examination and then was brought to Liloy MPS for filling of appropriate
charges against him.

Killed, 2 Arrested in Law Enforcement Operation in Siocon
SIOCON,
Zamboanga del Norte (June 21, 2018) - An armed encounter
occurred between combined elements of 905th Regional Mobile Force Battalion 9,
42nd Infantry Battalion of Phil. Army, Zamboanga Del Norte Provincial Mobile
Force Company, Siocon MPS encountered more or less seven (7) Law less elements
Group during law enforcement operation carried out at Sitio Sapa Bayol, Brgy.
Malambuhangin, Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte at around 9:30 AM June 19, 2018.
As a result, two (2) body killed in
action later identified as Ali Lumiguis And Ato Lumiguis, both member of Isnain
Lumigis Group who have pending warrant of arrest charged for Murder with Criminal
case Number 2017-03-02(1452) issued by Hon Judge Laarni N. Dajao of 9th RTC
Branch 27, 9th Judicial Region dated March 16, 2017.
Recovered from the possession of Ali
Lumigis are the following:
One unit Cal. 45 Colt with Serial
Number 1556708 with magazine inserted with
Seven live ammos,
One spent cartridge believed to be a
cal. 45 alleged fired by said suspect and
Five live ammos of cal. 45 and
One unit cellular phone recovered from
his sling bag while in the possession of Ato Lumiguis is
One unit of Cal. 45 model STI with SN
7844312 inserted with one (1) magazine with
Five live ammos of believed to be a
caliber .45.
During the operation, another two
suspects were also arrested for illegal possession of Firearms identified as Attang
Sabuddin Y Tungggal who has pending Criminal Charge before the Court of Br. 27,
9th RTC and Hatta Orak Y Angsa 70 years old and 46 years respectively, both
married and residents of Brgy. Malabuhangin, Siocon.
Recovered from possession and control
of Attang Sabuddin was one (1) unit of cal. 45 Colt with Serial Number 352864
with one (1) magazine inserted with seven (7) live ammunition. While evidence
recovered from Hatta Orak is one (1) unit of Cal. 22.
The cadaver of Ato and Ali Lumigis were
immediately turned over to their family after Dra. Mary Therese Acevedo of
RHU-Siocon conducted post mortem examination at the crime scene.
Arrested suspects were informed of
their Constitutional Rights and Anti-Torture Warning then were brought to
Siocon District Hospital for medical and physical examination and brought to
Siocon MPS together with the confiscated/ recovered evidences against them for
investigation and proper disposition. The Siocon MPS now prepare the charges
against them for Inquest Proceeding.

Arrest
of Gun for Hire Personality Suspect
DAPITAN
CITY (June 21, 2019) - On June 19, 2018 at
around 06:00 AM, information received by the Provincial Intelligence Branch
personnel of Zamboanga Del Norte PPO that there will be a liquidation plan
against one of the Barangay Officials of Dapitan City.
The alleged perpetrator was identified
as Junel Tome, 42 years old, married and a resident of Brgy Talisay, Dapitan
City, who is a watch listed gun for hire personality.
Immediately, Personnel of Provincial
Intelligence Branch personnel together with elements from RMFB9 in coordination
with Dapitan CPS immediately proceeded to Dapitan City and upon reaching at
Road 27, Barangay Dawo, Dapitan City, wherein one of the police informants positively
identified suspect Junel Tome.
Thereafter, RMFB9 personnel conducted
stop and frisk to the subject that led to the confiscation of one (1) caliber
45 pistol with serial number 48786 and one (1) hand grenade.
Subject was then informed of his
constitutional rights as arrested person and was brought and temporary detained
Dapitan CPS for proper disposition.
Man
Arrested in Liloy for Homicide
LILOY,
Zamboanga del Norte (June 20, 2018) - PNP personnel of
Liloy MPS arrested wanted person during the conduct of manhunt operation at
Barangay Compra, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 6:30 PM of June 19, 2018.
The police identified the arrested
person as Alberto Baculanlan Abiertas, male, Filipino, 45 years old, married
and a resident of barangay Compra, Liloy,
Zamboanga Del Norte.
He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of
Arrest issued by Hon. Marjorie T. Uyenco-Nolasco of RTC 4TH Judicial Region,
Branch 83; Tanauan City for Homicide docketed in CC No. 15068118 dated June 30,
2015 with a Bail bond recommended fixed to Forty Thousand Pesos (Php 40,
000.00) for his temporary liberty.
Arrested accused is now detained under
the custody of Liloy MPS for proper disposition.
